24. I'll Never Leave You
We walked into the bathroom slowly after hearing a noise. Harry pulled me behind him. There was a man in black climbing through the window. Harry ran over to hit him, but fell. I looked at his stomach, which he was holding. There was a knife sticking out of him. I fell to my knees screaming. Tears immidiately filled my eyes. "I l-love y-y-you." His eyes rolled back and he dropped his head.
"HARRY! NOOOOO!" I screamed. "Don't leave me! I love you." I grabbed his head and kissed his lips softly. "I love you." I repeated myself. I looked at the wide-eyed man, who was inside now. I layed Harry's head down. I stood up. The man had another knife in his hand. "DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU'VE JUST DONE? Drop the fucking knife, or things are going to get ugly."
"I'm so scared." He laughed.
"You should be." I ran up to him, tackling him as he stabbed my back. I ignored the fact I was just stabbed with a knife. I was on top of him and I punched his face, bloodying his lip. I kept punching him until his face was unidentifiable. I realized he was already knocked out and ran over to Harry. "It's okay, baby. I'm here. Everything's going to be fine." I said, with a tear running down my cheek. I picked him up bridal style and carried him to the car, sitting him in the passenger seat. I ran back inside and got Laylah. I put her in her car seat and rushed to the hospital. I ran in with Harry in my arms. "Nurse! Please, my husband. He's been stabbed." She motioned me to a wheelchair and I sat him in it. "I have to go get my daughter." I ran back to the car to find Laylah crying. I layed her head on my chest and she was asleep within seconds. I went to the room that Harry was in.
"We're going to have to do an emergency surgery. He hit a major artery and he's losing a lot of blood." I nodded and walked to the bed. I kissed his lips.
"I love you." I whispered before they wheeled him out and to the operating room. Another nurse walked into the room.
"If everything goes okay in the operation, he should be fine. Now you on the other hand, have a knife sticking out of your shoulder blade."
"Oh yeah. You can just pull that out." I said, turning around. It hurt a little when she pulled it out.
"I'll stitch you up." She said, pulling out the utensils. She stitched my wound and left. All I could do is just sit there and wait to see if Harry is going to be okay.
*2 hours later*
It's 11:11. I wish that Harry will be okay.
About 5 minutes later, they wheeled Harry's bed back into the room, with Harry in it. His face was so pale and lifeless. I felt a tear run down my cheek. "Is he going to be okay?" I anxiously asked.
"He'll be fine. He should wake up soon."
"Thank you." I told the doctor as he walked out of the room, closing the door behind him. I took Harry's hand in my mine. "I love you so much. I can't risk ever losing you. You and Laylah mean the world to me and you're all I have. I need you in my life. You are my life. Without you, I have nothing. I love you." I kissed his lips softly and layed my hand lightly on his stomach. I just sat there and stared at his colorless face for the next 30 minutes. I started to fall asleep. My eyes got heavy and closed.
"Abby?" I heard a deep and raspy voice whisper. My eyes shot open and I jumped up.
"Harry! Baby, don't ever scare me like that again."
"You were stabbed in the stomach by a robber. He stabbed me too, but I'm fine."
"What?" He sat up quickly and squinched his eyes in pain.
"Baby, lay down. You need to rest. Don't strain yourself."
"Are you okay?" He asked, with tears in his eyes.
"I'm fine." I said, with a small smile. He moved over and patted on the bed next to him.
"Come here." I smiled and climbed into the bed, laying Laylah on my chest. Harry smiled and grabbed her small hand. "I love you." He said to me.
"I love you too. More than anything." I kissed his lips sweetly and he kissed me back. "I thought I lost you."
"Nonsense. I would never leave you." He said, as he kissed me again.
