9. Hanging Out
Abby and I walked downstairs to join the rest of the group. Liam was talking to Jade, Niall was raiding the fridge, Louis was eating a carrot, and Zayn was looking in a mirror. How lovely. Abby sat next to Jade on the couch while I went to the bathroom. I looked at my head in the mirror. The cut was pretty bad. I probably needed to clean it. I took some peroxide and poured it on my cut. Damn, did it hurt. I started yelling and swearing. Abby ran into the bathroom. "Are you okay? What happened, babe?" I was holding my head and tears started to fall. "That's it. I'm killing the bitch." She said, standing straight up and she has the scariest look on her face. A look I've never seen before. I could tell she was pissed.
"No, Ab. It's fine. Drop it." I said, still crying.
"No, its not fine! She hit you in the head with a fucking baseball bat!" She was screaming. "She deserves to be dead. I should've killed the tramp while I had the chance." She balled her hands up into fists, causing her muscles to flex. Damn. They were huge.
"Babe, look. I'm fine. I promise. I don't want you to get into any kind of trouble." I begged.
"Did you see what I did earlier? If that doesn't get me in trouble, I don't know what will." She was getting even more mad.
"Baby. Calm down. Look into my eyes." I stared deep into hers and she stared back. I gave a cozy and warm look. "I'm fine. I promise. I love you." I said, kissing her forehead and then touching our heads together.
"I love you too." She calmed down a lot. "I'm sorry. She just makes me so mad." She started to ball her fists up, but stopped herself and relaxed.
"It's okay. She makes me mad, too." I said, holding her hands. I looked at her very sincerely. "I'll be fine. She's had enough punishment." I said.
"Okay." She said.
"Let's just try to relax today and get some rest. And get some food in that belly!" I said, pointing to her small, flat stomach. "I'll make you lunch. What do you want?" I asked.
"I've been craving nachos." She said, with a confused smile on her face. "Oh, well." She just laughed.
"Nachos it is!" I said, running into the kitchen, in a superman pose where my right fist was in front of me and my left one was on my hip.
"My superman!" She said, smiling.
"And you're my kryptonite." I said, leaning over the bar and slowly kissing her soft, pink lips. I pulled away slowly and rested my forehead on hers. "I love you, Piglet."
"I love you too, Poohie." She said, smiling.
"Ew!" I hadn't noticed that Louis was watching the whole conversation.
"Oh, shut up, carrot boy." Abby said, rolling her eyes.
"You tell 'em, babe!" I said, laughing. I gave her a high-five.
"You can't talk to the Tommo that way!" He protested.
"But I just did, didn't I?" She said, with a sassy smirk. I liked when she used an attitude. I brought out her strong and confident side. It showed that she was a fighter and she didn't give in easily. That's good. An easy relationship is boring.
"Bon appetite." I said in a French accent.
"Thank you, sir Harold." She said, doing a little curtsee.
"At your service, lady Abigail." I said, bowing. We're cheesy, but I think its cute. She ate her food quickly. I would've too, if I hadn't eaten in three days. We sat back on the couch and decided to watch Toy Story, since it was Liam's favorite and Jade liked it too. I didn't really care, as long I got to spend time with Abby. We snuggled and she fell asleep on my lap, smiling. I played with her hair and moved her mouth and said stupid things and pretended she said it. She was a heavy sleeper. It was cute. She let out a cute little yawn and it reminded me of a baby kitten, so I kissed her nose. She scrunched it up, but was still asleep. I smiled. I soon feel asleep afterwards. Today was actually fun and normal. That's what I loved about being with Abby. You never knew what to expect. Everything has and will happen. It's exciting. The rest of the day was perfect.
