16 year-old Talia has constantly moved around with her abusive parents for as long as she can remember. She has never stayed in one single place for a whole year. Talia's life changes when she finds out that she is Niall's long lost sister.

5. Meeting Talia

Niall's P.O.V

Before today, I had never run a stop sign, sped, or run a red light.  But on my way home from the restaurant, which is only about a 15 minute car ride, I drove a good 20 miles above the speed limit, ran 3 stop signs and 2 red lights.  I couldn't help it, I HAD to see Talia.  Luckily, I didn't run into any cops.

When I arrived home, my parents were sitting on the couch.  My mom had her head in her hands, crying, while dad comforted her.

"Where's Talia", I asked

"She's in her room.  She's had a long day, Niall.  I know that you really want to spend a lot of time with her, but try and give her some space."

Outside I could hear my father talking to Niall.  Although I really wanted to meet him, I was a little nervous.  What if he realized how messed up I was?  I kept arguing with myself.  In the end, I decided to go out and meet him, but I would only talk to him for a few minutes.

When I walked out of my room, I saw a  blond haired boy turn to look at me.  I instantly recognized him as Niall Horan from One Direction.  I mean, I know that my real last name is Horan, my mom mentioned that my brother's name was Niall, and they lived in Ireland, but I never but 2 and 2 together.  I was about to sneak right back into my room, hoping he didn't notice me, but unfortunately, he did.

"Talia?  Is it really you?"  He didn't give me any time to answer.  He just ran over to me and gave me a huge hug.  Surprisingly, I didn't even flinch.  And, I actually hugged him back.  "You have no idea how much I've missed you."  I just stood there, smiling like a complete idiot.  I still couldn't grasp the fact that THE Niall Horan was my brother.

After that Niall and I sat in my room, and we talked for hours about what had happened in the past 13 years.  Surprisingly, he was really easy to talk to and I opened up to him about everything.  I even told him about Laura and Mike.  And to top it off, I didn't say anything too stupid.  I've always wanted a big brother.
