7. Rena Sky

The card slipped out of my hands while I stared into nothingness along with Tammie's squeals in the background. No way was I taking any merchandise with his face on it.

"I found the tickets!" Tammie says, catching my attention. "says it starts at 6 pm" she mumbles the last part. I look over at the clock and read it. 3:58. Huh, time goes by fast, especially since it's a Saturday.

"Lets go now, Rena! PLesaeeeeeeeeeeeeee?" I look over at her and see unfortunately is giving me the puppy eyes, which is a huge disadvantage may I say. you can't always think about yourself, Rena. Your best friend really wants this so don't ruin it for her. The chance to meet him anyways is very slim so go for it. You'll survive in the end anyways...

"Change, fast." I say. She squeals and literally sprints to her suitcase where her clothes are thrown out of their organized state. I look down at myself and decide I should change too. So I walk over to my own suitcase and pick out a my favorite floral print leggings and a black V-neck t-shirt to go with it. I leave my hair in a messy bun and put on some black sneakers. That'll be good enough. Tammie flings open the bathroom door with high wasted jean shorts, a t-shirt with '#swaggy' on it and a pair of vans with her natural curled hair.

"Okie dokie, lets hit the road."

I finally pull into the main parking lot for the Staples Center. Or should I say parking garage. Not too many cars were there so I pretty much got the third slot closest to the exit. I stop the engine and take my time getting out while Tammie is standing at my door literally jumping up and down.

"Whoa calm down girlie, your gonna hyperventilate." I say.

"LEGGO!" she screams and grabs my wrist where im whisked away to the exit. I try to loosen the grip a little bit but it's solid as a brick can ever get. We cross the street and head directly to the glass entry doors where already a good crowd of girls formed.

"Tammie I don't think we can.."

"Just bend down a bit!" Tammie says. I do as she suggested right when we collaborate with the group of screaming-ish girls. I almost fall flat on my face 10 or so times but tammie somehow kept me up and going. I guess you could say we were basically on our knees trying to get to the front. Or at least Tammie was. At the end, we actually reached the glass doors with our faces squished against it. And I mean this literally. With a whole bunch of girls shoving behind you, not a very good idea to be in my position. Plus they were probably pissed wd found a way to the front. After ten minutes of the squishing, the girls finally calmed down and ended up chatting with one another. I leaned against the front door and faced Tammie.

"Holy crap, you have some skill of ninjaness." I say. Tammie laughs and shrugs.

"So where are our seats?" I ask. Tammie's face goes entirely white as if she realized something.

"You okay?" I touch her shoulder gently.

"The tickets." she whispers.

"yeah, what about them?'"

"The tickets. I-I forgot them." she whispers again. My eyes open wide as I stare at her.

"Great just great." she says as she smacks the top of her head.

"hey, no worries. I'll just call Kylie to get them for us." I say. Tammie breaks out of her trance and looks at me.

"Smart idea." I reach into my small bag that was slinging from my side and only find some change. I look down at the bag and search every inch of it but no sign of my beloved phone.

"Uh Tammie..." I say.

"Oh my god." she whispers.

:Yeah I know, im stu-"

"OH MY GOD!" she yells. I look back up at her and see her face completely white again with her eyes focused on the glass door.

"Whoa, its not that ba-"

"RENA! IT'S FREAKIN ALREDO!!!" she screams. Suddenly the group of girls also take on the scream and start shoving again. Only this time, it's a whole lot worse. I'm taken a back a little bit with the force but stand my ground. No way am I being squished against the door again. Right when I think that I'll last, a catch a glimpse of a fist coming right at me before a horrible stinging strikes my eye on my right side. Surprised, I stumble backwards and hit my head and back hard against the glass door and slowly slide to the ground.

"Rena!" I hear tammie yell. my eyelids are closed with both of my hands covering the stinging area. I can feel people hovering over me not caring whether or not I was ok. Suddenly, the screams go up a notch as the support behind me disappears and I fall hitting the cement floor even harder than the first time. I keep my hands covering my face as I groan and roll over a couple of times. The screaming suddenly is cut off a lot but still there as new but hushed voices start to process in my brain.

"Is she okay?" A unfamiliar voice asks.

"I don't think so." Tammie answers. I groan in response.

"Let's get her somewhere more appropriate." The unfamiliar voice says.

The ground suddenly disappears as I only feel the support of muscular arms take me away where the screaming fades and a beautiful, angelic voice fills my ears.
