Life is great for Jamie Sullivan. Everything seems to be falling place. She has her family around her and she's having the time of her life with the boys One Direction-Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and the love of her life, Niall Horan. And she is truly, genuinely happy. She couldn't possibly ask for anything more. But nothing is permanent. When a stranger somehow connected to her past enters her life, things start to change. How will these 'changes' affect the relationships between Jamie and the boys, especially the one with Niall? Will this stranger make Jamie's life better than it already is? Or will she lose the happiness she's been trying so hard to hold on to?

*Jamie's P.O.V*

Bloody hell. I'm wrecked! I have to exercise more. Maybe I'll start running-as exercise,of course. Oh Thank God. James is finally here. Maybe if he wasn't so late I would'nt have had to dance.

''Okay, I'm done,'' I told Cora, breathing a sigh of relief as James walks over. She looks at him and looks back at me, eyebrows arched. The crowd had gone back to dancing...luckily.

''Are you two...dating?''

''What?'' I asked in disbelief. ''We aren't...we're not...I have a boyfriend,Ni-uh, whose really nice.''

''Okay,'' she said, but she didn't sound as if she was convinced but she didn't go on. ''Well, don't be a stranger you cheeky little devil,''' she teased, pinching my cheeks. I grimaced. When she finally let go, I rubbed my cheeks.

''You still got the moves,'' James commented, impressed. ''Have you ever thought of going to an Arts school or joining a dance company or something like that?''

I shrugged. ''You have GOT to be joking. Anyway, all that dancing has made me hungry. Would you like to have lunch with me?''

''Yeah, sure. Where's Niall...and the others?'' he asked as we walked up the stairs. On the way, I grabbed my board.

''They have a meeting,'' I replied. ''Is Subway alright?''

He chuckled. ''Yeah. Where we can 'eat fresh','' he joked.

I laughed at his bad joke. It was so 'lame' that it was funny. It was a cute attempt.

''Alright, Mr. Funny Bones. Let's go.''

Half an hour later, we were in Subway, waiting in the queue to make our order. I liked to call it the 'stack-a-sandwich' station. And finally, it was my turn. ''Can I have three meatball marinaras and three chicken teriyaki sandwiches, all 12'inches hearty italian bread and with melted cheeseplease? Um, all of those on the go and I have a separate order that I want to eat here,'' I told the man working behind the station.

He raised his eyebrows at me and I felt the sudden need to tell him they were for 5 boys back at home and not me. Except for the last one. ''Alright, ma'am. Well, give us a moment to prepare the meatball marinaras and teriyaki chickenn sandwiches but meanwhile, why don't you order the one you're having here?'' he offered. James was chuckling beside me. I elbowed him in the stomach.

''Sure,'' I replied, smiling sweetly. ''Hearty Italian bread, 12'inch,with melted cheese please. Oh, could you cut it in two? The others too, please.'' I could always eat the other half for tea time.

''Yes,ma'am,'' he replied, placing the sandwich in the oven to melt the cheese. The other employees were making the other sandwiches. They were fast, which was quite impresssive really. At least there weren't that many people around so I didn't hold up the queue for too long. ''What are your toppings?'' he asked politely, taking it out from the oven.

I pursed my lips. ''Can I have...tuna and for the vegetables, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumber and pickles please?'' I told him slowly. By that time, my sandwich was towering.

''Anything more?'' he asked hesitantly.

''Why don't you get olives?'' James teased, whispering in my ear.

''I don't like olives,'' I answered, rollling my eyes at him.

''Nope,'' I chirped to the Subway employee.

''Sauces, ma'am?''

''Mayo, mustard and chilli sauce. That's all.''

I paid for ALL the sandwiches and with my board in hand and James right behind me, we find a seat by the window.

''Here's your coke,'' James said, placing my drink in front of me.

''Thanks.'' I take a big bite out of my sandwich and smile in satisfaction. That is some gooood sandwich. I chew for a while, watching a man walking his dog on the street.
''So, how have you been? How are you and Holly?'' I ask, after swallowing what's in my mouth. I take a long sip of my coke.

''I've been fine. Oh..Holly and I broke up,'' he tells me, looking down at his food.

As I open my mouth to speak, I burp. Way to go,Jamie. Way to go.

''Sorry,'' I apologise, feeling guilty for burping at the wrong moment. ''That was rude of me.'' I expect him to get mad but instead, he laughs. I smile a little, glad that I made him laugh. ''And I'm sorry about you and Holly. You'll find the right girl someday, don't worry,'' I tell him encouragingly. He deserves all the happiness in the world. I take another bite out of my sandwich and chew softly.

''That's the thing. I'm afraid that the girl I love will never feel the same way about me,'' he tells me sadly, staring at me straight in the eye.

I look out the window, pretending I don't get what he's trying to say. And that's when I see the blinding, bright flash of the camera.

''What the?''

Then, I realise the paparazzi somehow managed to find me. Oh great. The girlfriend of one of the members of the hottest boy band seen eating lunch with another man. Groaning, I pick my stuff up,not forgetting the sandwiches.

''I should go,'' I tell James.

''Wait up,'' he replies, fumbling to pick up his wrapped sandwich that he hasn't even taken a bite out of and following me out of Subway.

We end up running, again. Maybe I shed a few kilograms. Who knows?

''Here,'' James grunts,, grabbing my arm and pulling me into a telephone booth, our backs facing the street. The paparazzi runs past us,completely oblivious. And this is an awfully tight space for two people to be in.
''We should wait for a while, just to be sure,'' James advises, checking again.

I nod, looking outside too. It's starting to drizzle. Can this day get any worse? And right on cue, the man with the camera comes walking back, looking around. James has pulled his hoodie up to cover his head and i've tucked all my hair into my beanie. Hopefully, he won't see us. But, of course he does, because I'm so bloody unlucky. He squints his eyes ,peering at us from a distance, through the rain that has gotten heavier. Suddenly, I feel James wrap his arms around me and pull me close and crashes his lips to mine. I'm too shocked to react so I just stand there, motionless. But from the corner of my eye, I see the photographer start to walk away, still looking at us. Oh, NOW I understand what James is trying to do. I wrap my arms around his neck, reciprocating the passion and the plan works. The photographer finally walks away. I pull away, breathless. It remains quiet for a while.

''I think we can leave now,'' I murmur quietly, opening the door but James holds it shut.

''Are you crazy? It's raining heavily outside,'' he states. He's about a head taller than me so he has took down a bit when he talks..''You'll get sick if you walk out in THAT.''

I purse my lips. It's not that far. I grin at him. I've always wanted to play in the rain. So, I step out and immediately, I'm drenched. He shakes his head and walks out to get me but I run away, leaving him behind me. I'm laughing, watching him struggle to keep up. I get to the street Niall and my flat is on so I stop and wait for him to catch up.

''Thanks for today. I had fun,'' I tell him honestly, not mentioning the kiss. It was just so the photographer would go away. Nothing personal.

''Yeah,'' he agreed.

''Well, take care,'' I say, after a short silence. I wave goodbye to him as I walk up to the door and walk in. And immediately,it's much warmer in here.

''Hey, Jelly's back!'' Louis screams, dropping the orange that looks like was about to be thrown and running to me.

''I'm soaked. Don't come near me!'' I warn, placing my board on the floor and taking out my shoes and socks, which are, of course, wet too. I saunter over to the dining table and place the plastic bag of sandwiches on the kitchen table. And the boys run to the table, grabbing the sandwiches.

''Sorry if they're a bit soggy. I was caught in the rain,'' I apologise, taking off my beanie and walking to my room.
''Hey, where's Niall?''

''Oh, he's in his room,'' Zayn answers. He sounds like he's got his mouth full.

''Alright. Thanks!''

''Hey,leave that for Nialler, mate,'' I hear Liam tell the boys as I walk in my room to dry myself. I'll just take a shower later.

Then, I walk over to Niall's room and knock on the door. There's no answer but it's open so I push it open and see Niall staring at his computer screen.

''Hey babe, I got you a Meatball Marinara from Subway,'' I tell him as I walk in. But he doesn't get out of his seat and run to where the food's at. He just ignores me. Something's wrong.

''What's the matter? Is everything alright?'' I asked, concerned. I walk in and close the door quietly behind me. I walk to him and see a photo of James and I at Subway earlier on. James was laughing and I was smiling at him.

''You went out with James?'' Niall asked in a shaky voice.

''Yeah. Just for a while to have lunch. That's all,'' I reply, purposely not mentioning the kiss. ''But then the paparazzi found us and...''

''Do you love him?'' he demanded to know, cutting me off. The question shocks me and I don't seem to have an answer. Niall gets up from his seat, his fists clenched and gritting his teeth.''Tell me, do you love him?''
