So much has happened these past few weeks and I don't know where to begin. Most importantly, Niall and the boys are coming back to London ahead of schedule, which is FANTASTIC! I've missed them all so much.
Anyway, they recently released their 'This Is Us' documentary-movie which was well-received. In fact, that was the exact reason why they could come back so early-to celebrate. I'm extremely proud of them because I know they've worked so hard on this project. But they all said that they had fun filming it and working with their director, Morgan Spurlock(who I recall also did a documentary on McDonald's)which was great, because he even let Niall control the camera sometimes. By the way, Spurlock's documentary on McDonalds' was bizarre-he literally ate McDonald's EVERY DAY for a few weeks to investigate the effect of excessive McDonald's in one's diet, and interestingly, one of the effects included a decreased sex drive. Yeah, McDonald's doesn't really like him too much. Makes me think twice about eating McDonald's. But not because of the sex drive because I wasnt concerned over my sex drive, not that my sex drive was..oh never mind.
Moving on quickly,It was unfortunate that I couldn't attend the premier of This Is Us because I sprained my ankle and the doctor said I couldn't travel or walk around too much if I wanted it to heal quickly. I desperately wanted to go and bargained with Niall, but being the annoyingly sweet boyfriend he was, he refused and told me to stay at the flat and rest. He promised me he'd bring me to the movie theatre and watch it with me once my ankle healed completely.I'll elaborate on how THAT happened later.
Niall and I have been keeping in touch these past few weeks through Skype, mostly, and by texting each other. So far, it's been bearable. We talk about the usual stuff, like how the tour was going, how the others were, how my sisters were and all that. I also told him about the new job I'd started soon after he left-I was bored out of my mind spending days in the flat alone, although El would visit occasionally. Working as a cashier at the nearby supermarket wasn't too bad. Even though all I had to and could do was scan the barcode of the items, I got to interact with some customers which was nice. Also, some of them actually recognized who I was. I found it very strange yet flattering when they asked me for an autograph and asked me to sign my name on various items, including a watermelon.
Maura came over too and she taught me how to cook an Irish dish that I couldn't pronounce, which was fun. We talked about Niall too which was very...interesting. And Smith came over to visit with Savannah and his wife, which was great. Actually, they're still spending their holidays here in London although Smith told me he was on an assignment for his job so it was both work and holidays for him here.Smith can afford to spend more time with his family since his tour in Iraq has ended which I'm very glad about. He said his job doesn't really allow him to spend much time with his family but it's much better than being in Iraq.
Oh. And James has still been calling me these past few days. I don't know if it was my pride or ego but I could never bring myself to answer-I just never knew what to say, especially because of what happened the last time we were together. But I've been watching the bands' video diaries on YouTube-he looked like he was having fun which good. And the band performed on a live show for first time and they were AMAZING! Their debut single, Can We Dance, is SUCH a tune! So proud of them.
Not being with Niall was hard,I had to admit. But no one said it'd be easy. And it was also hard to hear about Liam and Danielle breaking up from Niall, over Skype. I guess I'd never have the pleasure of meeting her, after all. but Liam got a new girlfriend soon after that-I think her name was... Sophie? And I found out that Zayn and Perrie were engaged! I rang her and she gushed over how happy she was and I congratulated her and wished her all the best. What a lovely girl, Perrie. She was very lucky and so was Bradford boy.
Now, I'll explain how I sprained my ankle. Basically, what happened was, Niall called me and told me that they were coming back a week earlier which meant that we could celebrate his 20th birthday together. And this news got me very excited so I started jumping and dancing around on the bed, like a little child. Being as clumsy as I was, I didn't look where I was jumping so I accidentally slid off the edge of the bed and landed on my left foot which twisted in a very bad way. And then I had a sprained ankle, which was just brilliant. And this all happened two weeks after they left.
Fast-forwarding a month and 2 weeks, the boys are back! They got back about two days ago and we'd just celebrated Niall's birthday yesterday-lots of fun! And the party to celebrate This Is Us' success is tonight! I'm actually in the process of preparing for the celebration party right now. And by the look on Eleanor's face-she's been helping me out by dragging me along to shop for a dress with her since she said wearing a dress that I'd worn before (which I thought was fine) wasn't 'fashionable'-she was getting slightly annoyed. Right, I'm off to get my hair and make-up*cringe* done! I've decided to wear a pair of trainers with my dress because of my ankle(and because I dont really like wearing heels because they tend to make my feet hurt) without El's knowledge. She'll probably be fuming and tell me it'd be a 'crime against fashion'.hopefully she won't make me wear heels-that'd be impossible! Wish me luck!
See you later! ××
