I sat on my bed strumming my guitar. I was determined to get this song correct. I started strumming the cords again, this time it was perfect.
I started from the beginning.
"I do it for the love waiting on the gold rush" I sang the chorus and strummed the guitar in perfect sequence.
When I was 15 my mom gave me this guitar. It was old and worn out but it was special and I loved it. I taught myself how to play. It wasn't easy, but I dealt with it.
"Maybe you should learn to love her" I sang and played when the my bedroom door opened. I was paying more attention to the song than to the door opening.
"Your good" I heard a thick Irish accent say. I looked up and saw Niall leaning against the door frame.
I looked up at him and quickly quit playing.
"Oh uh thanks.. I didn't know anyone would be listening?" I said still shocked.
"What else do you know?" He asked
I smiled and began strumming again. I started playing my acoustic version of Kiss You
"Oh I just wanna take you anyway that you like"I sang like no one was there
I finished the song and I heard clapping. I looked up to see Niall still now accompanied by Liam, Danielle, and Harry. I saw Liam quickly shut off his iPhone.
"When did you all get there?" I asked
"Oh we heard your singing" Harry said with a sly grin
"You played us all the other night" He added
"I never said I could actually sing" I laughed
"Well sis, you did good" Liam smiled
I was actually proud of myself. I felt like people liked my playing, it was not an easy thing to learn.
"Hey babe?" Harry asked
"Yeah" I asked
"I have a question" He asked looking straight in my eyes
Everyone turned to him
