Me: You’re too cute for me to say no. Haha. Alright, better teach me.
Killary Harbour was the most amazing place I have ever been to. There was a very long bridge with cottages at the side of the pond. This village was charming with its Heritage Center. We walked further down to reach to the lake side which was located quite further away from the village. The lake was in between two mountains. There were small vessels and people fishing in the middle of the lake. The moon and the stars were shining brightly in the deep blue sky.
Liam went to put the worm as the bait at the hook. It was fascinating as I watched every move he took and the way he threw the fishing rod to the back and to the front. His move was amazing. As he was busy fishing, I took a rock and throw it a few times into the lake. Well, I was bored at that moment. Liam finally got my attention, I was so restless. He decided to teach me how to fish. So I did learnt a few things on that day. It was fun. I laughed till I got tears in my eyes and my tummy hurts. The face expression we both did, when I had trouble pulling up the fish and how Liam wrapped his arms around me, supporting me as he did not want me to fall into the lake. He was like my older brother that night.
Liam: Babe, let’s get going. We gotta catch the last train back home.
As I carried my small backpack, and walked back to the village. We flagged a cab to reach the train track before heading home. The last train was at 12 midnight. We reached at about 11.50pm. Liam with his strong legs, ran to the counter to get a pair of tickets. Phew, I gave a sigh of relief as there were only two tickets left. I was exhausted and cold. Liam wrapped around me with his red jacket but I was still shivering.
Liam: Babe, are you still cold? You’re shivering. Are you okay?
Me: Yeah. I’m fine. Just a little cold tonight. I wish I reached home a little earlier. I need my sweaters.
He hand out another piece of his jacket.
Me: You got two?
He: Yeah. The blue is mine and the red is yours. With our name at the back of the jacket, and our best friend trademark at the left side of the front jacket. I wanted to give you the red jacket but I did not know what to say. So I just gave it that way.
Me: Wait, our name? I didn’t notice it. I’m sorry.
I took off the jacket and I was astonished. Red, was my favourite colour. The trademark, our name. The jacket was the sweetest gift I had gotten from Liam. A sudden tear falls down my cheek.
He: Aww, you’re crying, don’t. Smile for me, Bell? Anyway, it’s okay. You were too cold. I understand.
Me: You’re sweet.
As I punched his arm and he giggled. I lied down on his broad shoulders and he wrapped his arms around me to keep me warm. After alighting at our station. Liam went to flag a cab.
My alarm clocked rang. I looked at the time and turned to look around me. I was in bed. In my room. How did I get in here? I was with Liam the last night. A sudden thoughts came running into my mind.
