Never willing to trust someone with her heart.
But when she runs into a boy with sharp green eyes and curly brown hair, she forgets it all, and falls into the dream of Love.

2. Deal Styles

“You know, you didn’t have to do this, within three days my skin would’ve healed on its own,” I mutter, sitting with my back to Harry, as he ran a wet cloth down it.

We were sitting in the closed bakery shop he worked at. But we aren’t alone. Another friend of Harry’s, Eleanor Calder, is fetching cold water from the sink as I speak. She is super nice and turns out she is a model.

“And you know, I honestly couldn’t care for Science, I caused this mess and I should clean it up,” Harry replies. “Anyways, my mum would expect me too as well.”

I chuckle. “You’re a mommy’s boy?”

“Yup, and I owe her as well, as she’s pushed me to do something I could’ve never done with my own guts,” He answers, finally pulling down my shirt and stepping away from me.

I watch him closely as he moves towards Eleanor, handing her the bucket of cold water, directing her to the back so she could dump it out. She was cute, were they dating or really just friends?

“Are you two dating?” I blurt out, and as soon as I realize what I just said, I slap a hand over my mouth.

You idiot, you idiot, YOU IDIOT!

Harry and Eleanor exchange glances, before looking back at me, and bursting out in laughter.

“Us?” Harry laughs, breathless.

“Never!” Eleanor finishes, still giggling. And then she moves away from us two, heading to the back and disappearing from view.

Harry scratches his neck uncomfortably, and then takes a hesitant step towards me. “Want a cookie or somethin?”

I stand up, ignoring the pain from my back, and look at the assortments. Once I find something that’ll live up to my mum and dad’s standards, I point at it.

“That one,” I order, looking directly at Harry. “Please.”

He nods and steps around the back of the counter, opening the back of the display case, and grabbing the blueberry muffin. Once out, he drops it on a soft white sheet of paper and covers it up, before taking out a bag. When the bag is completely open, Harry sets the muffin in gently, and then hands the bag to me.

I take out my wallet, grabbing two pounds, and handing them to Harry. He shakes his head, smiling.

“No, it’s an apology muffin,” He pushes the money away from him. “For you know, you’re back and all.”

I nod, giving him a little bit of gratitude.

“Still doesn’t take care of my camera, though,” I mutter, depressed about having to go out and buying a new one. They were over 10 pounds and that is a lot for me.

Harry’s eyes brighten, those captivating green eyes brightening, as an idea hits him. He turns around and faces the back.

“Hey, Eleanor, I’m taking off! Just lock the door behind you, kay?” He calls out to the nice girl.

“Chou, mate!” She responds, a door slamming and locking.

Harry turns back to me, grinning. He grabs my hand and pulls me towards the door. But quickly, I dodge his grab, holding my hands to my side. Harry pauses and looks back at me, his dimples disappearing in his frown.

“Where are we going now, Styles?” I ask with displeasure and suspiciousness.

“I’m going to take you somewhere where you don’t need to buy another camera, now come on…” He trails off, realizing I’ve never told him my name.

I roll my eyes, “Axle, its Axle.”

He smiles, “Now come on, Axle, don’t you ever take risks?”

I shake my head, “Nope, never. Scientific researches states that taking risks results in more teenage deaths than suicide.”

Harry chuckles, “Axle, forget Science, and also you got your facts wrong. Suicide is the leading reason for teenage deaths, not taking risks.”

I stick my tongue out art him, “I’m not forgetting Science ever, it has always been there for me.”

Harry sighs, “Fine, I’ll make you a deal.”

I raise my brows, “Why in the world would I make a deal with you?”

He shrugs, “I dunno, but I’m proposing the idea anyway. The deal is that you will stay here in London, with me, and I will show you a world where Science is non-existent. But, if in a year, I have not done so…you can ask for anything you want and I will give it to you.”

I smile devilishly, “I want to get into Harvard.”

“In the Americas?” He cocks his head to the side.

I nod.

He sticks out a hand.

I shake it.

“The deal has been struck,” Harry whispers quietly. “No backing out, Axle.”

I roll my eyes, “Where am I staying, Styles?”

“With me,” He replies, flashing me a toothy grin.

“Whatever, come on now, we are wasting time.” I hiss, pushing past him and out the bakery, into the cold London streets.

If I had known in the future, that this deal would bring me hell…I would’ve never struck it.

But there was no backing out now, was there?
