3. The Club

I was so pissed of right now I didn’t give a flying f*ck, not to mention I was getting scared. Why, I heard you ask. Well first of all, Kayleb goes dissing my cousin, hence me feeling angry. Secondly I just punched a higher grade telepath, hence me being scared. I am so stupid; sometimes I honestly don’t know what to do with myself. So I did the only thing I could do.

I pushed passed a pissed Kayleb, who looked like he could rip me into a million pieces right now. Pushing past him was not a great move, but I was equally as angry as him, so it didn't matter. I grabbed my jacket and cell phone as I walked towards the window.

I opened the window and froze in place. The nice cool air brushed over my face like a soothing blanket. It was like the wind had fingers with combed through my hair. I turned and looked back at Kayleb. He was looking at me with furry, but somewhere in his eyes passed through a motion of worry. I smiled at him wickedly and leaped out of the window.

In case you are wondering, no I did not die from jumping of a window. Actually my window isn’t that far off the ground and there was a tree right outside it. So in other words, it was easy for me to sneak out. Plus with my strength, there was no risk to getting hurt.

Once my feet were firmly on the ground I pulled my jacket on and tucked my cell phone in my jacket pocket. Now what to do? Suddenly an idea popped into my head. I know I would go to a club. Get wasted, have a little fun. That should release the sensations I was feeling now. But who to go with?

Usually I would take Kayleb, but he was the one I wanted to get away from right now. I got out my phone and looked through my contacts. No, no, who?, never, nope… yes! My eyes landed on my cousins name Red. I needed to spend a little time with her. I pressed call and put the phone up to my ear.

Ring one…

Ring two…

Ring three…

“Hello?” I would recognise that voice anywhere, it was Red. She seemed a bit distracted though.

“Hey Red!” I said in excitement.

“Oh, hey Ruby. How are you?” she asked. It was either her voice wasn’t coming through properly or she was too busy to deal with me.

“Same old, same old. What about you?” I asked in return. I wanted to hurry up and get to the point of this phone call.

“Oh, huh? What was that? Zayn stop.” She said. What was she doing? I rolled my eyes; this was going to take a long time. I might as well make it quick.

“Never mind. Look, I wanted to ask if you want to go to the club? You know, get wasted, and have fun. We haven’t done that in a while.” I said trying to sound persuasive and hopeful.

I heard a shuffle on the other end of the phone and after a good ten seconds she replied. “Urm no thanks Ruby. I’d rather stay here with Zayn. You know keeping it low for a while.” She said. I sighed deeply. How did I know that was going to be her answer? She claimed the cops were always onto her, but I knew it wasn't just that.

“Kay, bye Red.” I mumbled and cut the phone call off. Right, if no one else was going to go with me, then I was going to have fun on my own. All the more booze for me to drink then.

I put my phone back in my pocket and searched for some car keys. I should still have Leon’s car keys from last time. I patted my pockets and when I hit something hard and jingly, I knew I’d found them. I would return my brothers car afterward, but right now, I need to let off some steam.

I took the car keys out and went to the front of the house, there I found my brothers car. Its not exactly posh and expensive, but its not an old banger either. Lets just say it is drivable, and get me where I want to be. I stuck the key in, and twisted. Vroomm! The car roared to life. I smiled to myself. Nothing was going to get me down tonight.

I sped of down the road, increasing my speed as I did so. I couldn’t be bothered about the speeding cameras right now; I was enjoying myself too much. I hit the button for the radio, but nothing came on. I pressed it once more. Still nothing. Now I punched it real hard, nope still no sound. I sighed in irritation. Leon must have forgotten to get the stereo thing fixed. I sighed once more and rolled my eyes.

I kept driving in silence for the next ten or twenty minutes. It wasn’t exactly what I was expecting. I was imagining Red and myself singing to some songs on the radio, dancing in our seats with not a care in the world. But she has to be too busy with her new boyfriend… Zayn.

Did boyfriends really do that to you? Did they take you away from all your other important people? I have always wanted a boyfriend, but found no one to my liking or… they just didn’t like me. But after seeing how Red’s behaviour had changed once she got a boyfriend, I sent my desires to bed.

My eyes lit up when I saw a big building and ‘The Cave’ writing in bright blue flashing letters. Finally I was here. I parked my car near the back entrance and shut of the engine. Hopping out of the car, I slammed the door and locked it. Putting the key in my jacket pocket, I stood and admired the building in front of me.

It was tall, and had three floors. The walls were made out of glass and you could see dancing silhouettes through it. Whether they were just stickers or real people I didn’t know. But the flashing colour light’s behind the silhouettes lured me in. It made me want to go inside. It made me feel like I needed to go inside.

I breathed in heavily and started walking my way to the line. It was a long line that was for sure. A flat look came across my face when I realised the back was all the way around the building. I was not waiting in that. By the time I got to the front it would be the next day already. Then I had an idea.

I could send mind messages to all these people, just to let me pass. Then I could try and seduce the bodyguard at the front to let me in, if that doesn’t work I’ll had to telepathically tell him to let me pass too. But I got to admit, I need to cut down on using my power. I always got read bad headaches afterwards, kind of like a hangover.

I made my way to the back of the line and tapped the person in front of me. It was a short guy with spiked up bleached hair and baggy trousers. “Excuse me?” I said.

“What?” he answered rudely.

“Could you please let me pass?” I looked him deep in his emerald eyes and held his gaze. Let me pass. I commanded.

The guy looked at me like I was some God, and moved aside so I could pass. I smiled at him and patted him on the head. “Thank you.” I whispered.

I continued with the same routine until I was right at the front. Right there was the body guard. Did he look angry or was he always like that? The body guard wore a tight black v neck t-shirt and some Black jeans, accompanied with some dark shades. My, did he look intimidating. I guess I liked that about him. Intimidating always lures me in.

I walked up to him in the sassiest way possible. “Hey handsome.” I whispered seductively in his ear when I was close enough. I put my palm on his chest and looked him deep in the eyes.

“That has been tried many times before, m'am. Please go to the back of the line.” He said in his deep husky voice. I put my face closer to his now, so that we were nose to nose. Mr Bodyguard over her was quite tall, so I had to tip toe.

“Won't mister handsome, let an innocent little girl like me in?” I asked softly and then bit his ear lobe. But Mr Bodyguard wasn’t having any of it. Fine. If it was going to come to this, I would use my power. Let me in, handsome. I said through mind. The man automatically moved away so I could get in. I smiled at him once I passed and gave him a kiss on the cheek. You got to admit, he was hot.

Great I was inside now. The base of music beat through me. The warm sweating bodies of people dancing moved in sync and the aroma of the place just got me in the mood for drinking, dancing, and getting wasted. I walked over to the bar, took off my jacket and sat on the stool.

“What can I get you?” the bar tender asked, over the heavy base.

“Vodka shots.” I told him and smiled.

“How many?” he asked over the music.

“Just keep ‘em coming.” I yelled back.

There was no going back now. I took the shots in my hand and tipped my head back and downed the drink like I owned the place. Hell yeah. Nothing was stopping me now.

A/N: Okay guys this is my first chapter in the sequel. Tell me what you think. Sorry there wasn't much going on here, I wanted to leave the honour of that to Patch, cause she is a way better writer than me. I will be writing another chapter soon. Toodles.
