Over Again

Callie, a twenty year old drop out, was troubled from the start. She grew up in a bad part of New York and was raised by poor parents, who disappeared shortly after she turned sixteen. She decides to go to London to start a new life. She never suspects a super star to help her throughout her tough journey to the finish line, but as she encounters some bumps in the road, she isn't one hundred percent positive that she will make it.

2. I'm Gonna Pick Up the Pieces

Well, that was a bust.

I just spent every penny I own to start a new life, be a different person, but I'm still the same thing I was in New York; a homeless, broke twenty year old who is really freaking crazy.

Okay, maybe it wasn't a total bust. I did get to see the vibrant colors of the streets in London, smell different smells and hear much different things.

It was getting late, and the streets were getting a bit more busy, so I say on the nearest park bench and took out my guitar (my prized possession, I take it everywhere I go). I left the case open and began to play a song my best (and only) friend in New York taught me called Lego House by Ed Sheeran.

"I'm gonna pick up the pieces
And build a lego house.
If things go wrong we can knock it down.

My three words have two meanings
But there's one thing on my mind,
It's all for you.

And it's dark and cold in December,
but I got you to keep warm.
If you're broken, I'll mend ya,
and I'll keep you sheltered from the storm that's raging o-o-on..."

Louis's P.O.V.

It was late, and we were just coming home from the bar, when me and my three drunk friends (and one sober, like me) heard beautiful music coming from across the park we were shortcutting through.

"I'm out of touch, I'm out of love, I'll pick you up when you're getting down,
And out of all these things I've done, I think I love you better now."

Harry, who was clearly drunk, started to dance with my prom-style, with his hands on my hips.

"I love this song!" He sang along with the gorgeous voice, "I'm out of sight! I'm out of mind! I'll do it all for you in time!"

I succeeded at prying him off my body when she started the second verse.

"Come on guys, lets go see," I said dragging my friends to the sound.

As soon as I saw her, something happened.

I've never felt this way before. It's like... Something clicked she was so beautiful. Blood red hair, bright blue eyes, beautiful, long eyelashes. She wasn't even wearing make up.

I could see some pounds in her case, so threw everything I had in my pocket in, which wasn't much.

When the song was over, I walked up to go talk to her.

"H-hi, I'm Lou-Louis..." I've never stuttered like that before.

"Cassie." She said after a quick silence. I was a bit surprised she didn't know who I was.

"Um... I uh, I just wanted to say that I.. I think your music is beautiful... Just like you," I gave her my million dollar smile.

"Thanks..." She said without even looking me in the eye as she packed her stuff up. "Well, I gotta go home... Sort of." She leaned her guitar against a tree and climbed it.

I chased after her, as she rested on a long limb. "You're not actually going to sleep up there, are you?"

Her only reply was a slight nod, her eyes closed.

"Well, what if you fall?"

She shrugged. "It doesn't hurt that much, I've done it before."

That's when I realized she was homeless.

"Are you homeless?"

She replied with a "no duh" face. "No shit."

"Well... Come with me."

She looked startled. "Are you insane?"

"I guess I am."

She smiled. "Sorry pal, you don't want me in your house."

"Actually, I do."

She looked at me for a few seconds. "Nope, try the next girl in a tree."

"Come on, I'll give you food, cloths, anything. I just want to do something nice."

She hesitated for a second, then finally sighed in defeat. "One night. I'm gone tomorrow afternoon. I want food, a water bottle, blankets, pillows, and cloths. Oh, and a backpack."

"Deal." I helped her out of the tree and brought her to the boys.

"Look whose coming home with us."
