7. Better

When I woke up the room was dark, dim lighted. I could heard whispers but I couldn't see who was talking. I didn't want to eavesdrop so I sat up to get their attention.
"How are you feeling dear?" The woman asked. I'm guessing that was the nurse. She was such a short and pudgy woman, she seemed like one of those grandmas that could make an emo 17 year old smile. I couldn't help but smile at her.
"I'm better. I've just got a pounding head ache." I told her. I rubbed my held and felt a bump. Great I'm a human unicorn. After she gave me some medicine, another person came over. Professor Leos. "Hey!" He exclaimed as he sat down on the cot. "Niall says you took a horrid fall. Are you okay?"
"Ya, fine." "Good to hear Lilliana. As soon as Nurse Shelly releases you, I'll introduce you to your roommate and I'll need you to come to my room to grab extra credit, make up work. Ok?" I just nodded and took a drink of what I think is ginger ale. "Where is Niall, professor?" I asked, staring deep into his eyes. I wanted to make sure he was okay. I waited a while in silence before he replied. "He is fine Lilliana." He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and smiled, giving me goosebumps."I promise." "Thank you." I blushed a bit. I have to admit for a teacher he seemed pretty hot and he was young. It was awkward though, I still had goosebumps on my arms. And I felt slightly uncomfortable with how he just stared at me with a friendly smile on his face. "Um." I began to speak up." Nurse Shelly, I'm a bit tired now." I lied. anything to get out of this awkwardness. "Don't worry dear it's just the medicine kicking into effect. Professor I'd think it best if you leave now." She gestured towards the arch doorway. Professor Leos got up, said goodbye and to get rested, then left. I turned over onto my side and placed my hand behind my head. Slowly, I drifted off to sleep and that's when it started. The weirdest dream I'd ever had. "Lee-Lee. Get up!" A voice commanded. "Lilliana!" We were in a dark stone room, an old time cellar I think. There wasnt any light except little flaming torches spaced out along the walls. I looked around for who ever was calling my name."Hello? Who's there?!" "You need not worry who I am Lilliana." A boy around my age stepped out of the shadows, a cloak was draped around him and a hood covered all but the evil smirk that danced on his lips. "I think it's my business that I know who you are!" I argued to the stranger. He chuckled. "You're time has come, for the great reveal." He spoke." Not everything in the world is real. You bear upon your soul the secret, and who you befriend, you might regret. To lose might be a win, and never shall it be the end." He was speaking a prophecy about me! "Your journey has not yet begun, but you will be the chosen one. Remember the most important part, those who refuse will lose their heart." He beared an evil grin across his face and backed up into the shadows, and another person-in a cloak- came out from the shadows and moved to stand behind me. "You look confused." He said with amusement. His voice sounded familiar. "I couldn't imagine why! You're gifted Lilliana. Eventually you'll discover what I mean. Just let the prophecy sink into your pretty little mind." He had his lips right by my ear and was whispering in quiet smooth voice. "Think carefully about who you trust Lily, not everyone can keep secrets. Especially one like this." I stood in silence for a long time before I turned around to speak. The mystery guy was gone and I was alone. I had a feeling it wouldn't be my last time having a dream like this. And I wouldn't tell anybody.
