9. Chapter 9

I awoke to Fudge talking to a fair few people, "keep everybody in their seats. A boy has just been killed. The body must be moved Dumbledore, there are.. too many people." "Let me through! That's my son! My boy!" Cedric's father, Amos began to cry, hard. His wails could be heard from miles away, there were that loud and heart breaking. Literally, his cries made me begin to cry. I stood hastily and rushed to Amos' side, rubbing his back in attempt to soothe him. "Hey, listen, I'd say it's going to be alright, but it's not. It was horrible, seeing him die. I would've done anything to stop it, but I was rooted to the spot by plant-life. I'm sorry for your loss."

He gave a curt nod then went on with his crying and wailing, in which caused me to go for a walk. I was just outside of the castle when I bumped into someone, literally. I stopped dead in my tracks, looked up, and saw Remus. "Hello Remus!" I chirped, "what brings you here today?" I added. "Full moon. Wolfsbane. Here" he said while looking around him for anyone listening or watching, as he handed me the potion. "Oh? That's tonight?" I asked, grimacing. "Yeah, how could you forget?" he asked, furrowing his brows together. "Voldemort ordered Wormtail to murder Cedric Diggory about twenty minutes ago! And he succeeded. You'd forget about the moon too if someone innocent died right in front of you!" I snapped, then took the potion in one large mouthful.

"Ready?" Remus asked, looking at me. "Time?" I asked. "Close to midnight. Fullest moon." "Ready then." We both walked a little away from the castle as to not scare anyone, though we're harmless when we have our potion. As soon as the moonlight touched me, I felt the horrible pain of transforming. I let out a few whines, before almost falling to the ground in exhaustion, then regained posture. Well, as good as werewolf posture can get. Looking up at the moon, I held my head high and let out a long, loud howl. I don't know, howling at the moon isn't necessary, but I like doing so. "Ah! Merlin's beard!" "It's a werewolf!" "Two werewolves!" Two voices exclaimed from in front of me.

Crouching down a bit to their level, I noticed it was Fred and George. They pulled out their wands and pointed them at me, which really is upsetting. I let out a loud whine as the cast Flipendo, knocking me back into a tree. "Yeah, take that!" "you big ugly beast!" I whined again, and crouched down low, so if I was human, I'd be burying my head into my knees. Remus had already ran off, though I prefer to stay close to the castle. Wait until I'm human and these boys come up to me all sunshine and rainbows!

"Why isn't it trying to kill us?" Fred asked, lowering his wand. "Oh come on Fred, the beast is afraid of magic" said George. I let out a loud whine, then noticed my wand sitting on the ground, about a metre away. My eyes widened, and I slowly edged towards it while the twins had a conversation about why I'm not attacking them. Well, I'm your best friend, duh. Idiots. "Maybe it's a dud?" "Nah, probably just a scaredy-cat" "or in this case, scaredy-mutt" "that it is brother, that it is" "hey, what's it doing?"

Once I grabbed my wand firmly, I used it to write in the air. 'It's Isadora, you idiots'. Once they read it, their eyes widened, and they gulped. "We're so sorry!" "Please forgive us!" "We didn't know!" I let out a growl, and wrote again, 'no, you still said it, and used magic against me. But it doesn't mean I'll forgive you that easily'. I picked my bag up and put my wand in it, and went to run off, but not before bearing my sharp teeth and growling at them, then ran off to find Remus.

So, we're all in the Great Hall for the end of year feast, and Dumbledore wants to make a speech. I don't know if it will be about Cedric's death, or Harry's win. Yeah, Harry's win. They were going to have it a tie, but I didn't want the money or cup. Though, both Harry and I have eternal glory, which I'm terribly ungrateful for. Waaay too much attention.

"Today we acknowledge a really terrible loss. Cedric Diggory was as you all know, exceptionally hard working, intricately fair minded. And most importantly a fierce friend. I think therefore you have the right to know exactly how he died. You see, Cedric Diggory was murdered by Lord Voldemort. The ministry of magic does not wish me to tell you this. But not to do so I think would be an insult to his memory. Now the pain we all feel at this dreadful loss reminds me, reminds us that while we may come from different places and speak in different tongues, our hearts beat as one. In light of recent events the bonds of friendship we made this year will be more important than ever. Remember that and Cedric Diggory will not have died in vain, you remember that. And we'll celebrate a boy who was kind and honest and brave and true right to the very end" Dumbledore said.

Many of the Hufflepuffs are crying, as is Cho Chang, also a few of the Gryffindors and Ravenclaws. Although the Slytherins are not crying and keeping straight faces, I can see in their eyes that they feel loss too. "I would also like to congratulate Mr Harry Potter, and Miss Isadora Black, for both winning the Tri-Wizard Tournament. Although Miss Black refused to be a winner, she is still granted eternal glory alongside Mr Potter, whom she very kindly, and happily let take the prize money and the cup. We may have forced her to be a part of the eternal glory though" Dumbledore shrugged slightly at his ending, which is very true. I was forced to have eternal glory.

Up in mine and 'Mione's room, I was alone and packing. Hermione had already packed, and was in the common room with Harry and Ron. I put an extension charm on my bag, then used magic to put all of my clothes in. Then my presents from last years birthday and Christmas, all my shoes, and just everything. I slipped my wand into my bag as well, then headed down to the common room carrying Skittles and Snuffles. All of my jewellery lightly hitting with every bounce down a step.

Standing on platform nine and three quarters for the first time, is absolutely amazing. There's so many people, so much noise. It's overwhelming. A massive grin spread across my face when I saw a familiar black dog running towards me, Mrs Weasley, Mr Weasley and Remus close behind. "Hey Remus, Mr Weasley, Mrs Weasley. It's lovely to see you Remus, and lovely to meet you two" I curtsied for a second and a half, then stood up straight, scratching Sirius behind the ears.

"So, where are we going?" I asked. "You'll see. Oh, yeah, we're apparating. Molly, got all your children?" Remus asked, turning to the short, plump woman. "Yes Remus, I do" she said, then looked over her shoulder. "Come on children!" she called, and they all hurried over. "Apparation" Arthur Weasley said quickly, before Ron and Ginny took his arms, Fred and George taking their mother's arms. With the familiar popping sound, they were gone.

I turned to face Remus, "how are we getting Snuffles there?" I asked, looking down at Sirius. "Apparation of course. Got everything?" Remus asked, looking curiously at my small bag, and two animals. "Yes Remus. Extension charm. Got everything, lets go" I said nonchalantly. He took gentle hold of Sirius, while I grabbed his right forearm, and with a pop, the feeling of going through a far to small tube, and another pop, we were in a dark street, apartments towering over us.

I let go of Remus' arm and took a step forward, firmly holding my two squirming pets. "Come on inside" Molly said quickly, ushering me inside by the small of my back. Once we were inside, and the door was closed, Sirius changed back, then gave me a massive bear hug, nearly squeezing me to death. "Can't.. breathe.." I choked out, though I was hugging him just as tight. "Oh, sorry!" he apologised, letting go of me and standing beside me. "It's quite alright. So, where are we?" I asked politely, looking around at the dark, gloomy place. "Number twelve Grimmauld Place" he let out a small sigh, then walked forward, gesturing for me to follow him, which I obviously did.
