1. New Beginning

Rebecca's P.O.V.

I woke up to Alice shoving me awake. "Come on Becca we're here!" She squealed in excitement. I blinked my eyes open and looked out the window to a remarkable sunrise. England, just wow it was more beautiful than I imagined. This would be my new home and my new start. I smiled at this remarkable world I had awoke to and was ready to take on anything, or so I thought. I just couldn't contain my excitement and nearly ran over Alice as I jumped out of my seat, got my carry on and then ran off the plane. "Wait for me!" I heard Alice laugh and chase after me. London here I come.

After getting our luggage, which was like a million bags, Alice had called her Aunt Loreen to pick us up and was talking with her for what seemed like forever. So while they talked I sat down on a bench and thought about our plans for London. As planned we would be staying with her aunt for a few months until we found our own place and we'd also go hunting for jobs during that time. Hopefully were not staying any longer than planned, at her aunts, because both Alice and I are really picky and probably will take forever to find a place that suits both of us. Alice had assured me that her aunt wouldn't mind if we did stay longer than originally planned though. Alice also  mentioned that she got lonely at times and would enjoy the company, knowing that made me feel better.

While Alice blabbed on with her aunt I decided that I should probably call my mom so she wouldn't worry.

"Hello?" my mom asked.

"Hey mum just wanted to call and let you know we made it here alright and Alice's aunt is nearly here" I said and looked at Alice who was still on the phone.

"That's good sweetie, have fun okay but be safe. Oh dear, I have to go honey but I love you!" my mom said as she hung up.

"Love you too.." I mumbled to myself. My mother was usually busy during summer because she ran a ice cream shop and also a flower shop. So I just shrugged it off and put my phone away just as Alice walked over. "Aunt Loreen is here, are you ready?" she asked. "Duh." I said and with that we grabbed all our bags and walked outside.

The ride to her Aunt's place was a lot of fun. Her Aunt was really cool and way younger than I expected, probably young thirty's. I guess I expected her to be really old, I don't know. We laughed and talked the whole way and I learned that her Aunt was a photographer who got payed a lot of cha ching and knowing that made me wonder what her place looked like. I never asked Alice much about where we'd be staying. My question was soon answered when Loreen opened the doors to her apartment.

"Wow." I said as I walked in. The place was very warm and inviting so the first thing I did was drop all my things and run to the window. The view was astonishing. "Rebecca!!" I heard Alice yell. "Get your crap out of the way!" she whined. I soaked in the view. "It's beautiful!" I hollered back before running and picking up my stuff. I then followed Loreen as she showed me to my room, while  I magically carried all my stuff. My room was incredible and way bigger than I expected. I even got my own bathroom! I was worried I'd have to share with Alice and I knew that wouldn't end well. Alice and I had taken up the two guest bedrooms right next to each other downstairs while her Aunt had hers upstairs. That meant we got our own privacy which was nice.

The day was still young and I certainly didn't want to spend my first day in England unpacking and staying inside all day especially on a special day like this. I ran next door to Alice's room without bothering knocking and found her unpacking.

"Stop right there!" I said trying out my best police officer voice.
