Head Over Heels

Sky Tomlinson is funny, has an obsession with carrots, loves to sing, play guitar, and loves photography. She works at "Music Café" where new artists play music 12/7 for the hours they are open. Sky sings and plays guitar. She has amazing talent, just like her father, Louis Tomlinson. She loves country music, and that's the kind she writes. Maybe it started when she went to live with her grandma in Texas for a summer. Who knows? Sky writes love songs, but one day she actually writes a song about her crush, Jason Styles, son of her dad's bet friend, Harry Styles. What Sky doesn't know is someone else is after him too...

2. Song For Him

1. Song For Him
Sky

~~~Flashback~~~
"Hey, Jason!" I said, walking towards him. Our lockers were right next to each other, and as I began to open mine I asked, "How'd your date go?"
He turned to look at me and said, " I'll never fall in love," and ran his fingers through his hair.
I laughed and said, "Why do you say that?"
"It didn't work out. She was nothing like the girl I want and I just didn't feel anything."
"Well-" I started to say, but then the bell rang. "Gotta get to class, but I'll catch up with you later!"
~~~Present~~~

I walked up onto the stage. Thank the heavens Jason wasn't here to hear me sing this song, he'd have plenty of questions afterward. I took a deep breath and began.
"I don't think that passenger seat has ever looked this good to me. He tells me about his night, and I count the colors in his eye." I moved my finger up and down in a "counting" motion as I said that. "He'll never fall in love he swears as he runs his fingers through his hair. I'm laughing cause I hope he's wrong. And I don't think it ever crossed his mind, he tells a joke I fake a smile. But I know all his favorite songs. And I could tell you his favorite color's green, he loves to argue, born on the seventeenth. His sister's beautiful, he has his father's eyes, and if you asked me if I love him, I'd lie," I finished the chorus. I saw Mom and Dad smiling like they were happy and proud of me.
"He looks around the room, innocently overlooks the truth. Shouldn't a light go on?" I made a fist over my head and opened it. "Doesn't he know that I've had him memorized for so long? And he sees everything black and white. Never let nobody see him cry. I don't let nobody see me wishing he was mine! And I could tell you, his favorite color's green, he loves to argue, born on the seventeenth. His sister's beautiful, he has his father's eyes, and if you asked me if I loved him, I'd lie." Then I began the bridge. "He stands there, then walks away, my gosh, if I could only say, I'm holding every breath for you. And he'd never tell you, but he can play guitar, I think he can see through everything but my heart. First thought when I wake up is my gosh, he's beautiful. So I put on my make-up, and pray for a miracle. And I could tell you, his favorite color's green. He loves to argue, oh and it kills me. His sister's beautiful, he has his father's eyes."
Jason walked in just then. Thankfully it was just the last part.
"And if you asked me if I love him, and if you asked me if I love him, I'd Lie," I finished.
Everyone was clapping. They liked it a lot, I guess. "Thank you!" I said and bowed.
I walked off the stage and Jason came up to me. "Hey best friend! Or should I say frog? Cause you look like one," I said.
He shoved me. "So who was that song about?"
I pretended that I wasn't getting nervous. "Hmm? What do you mean?"
"Oh, come on, you sang it like you had a certain someone in your mind."
"Pft, in your dreams."
"It was me!" he teased, or, at least I hope he was.
"You. Wish." I said getting closer, then walked away.
How I wish he'd be mine. But if anyone asked me if I loved him, I'd lie.
