Dear Ava,

Merry Christmas! I am at your house. Wow, it feels so strange with out you here. The green of your room seems a little duller, your desk seems a little cleaner. The house seems a little smaller, the people gloomier. I am sitting around the fire place, enjoying a decaf lattes. Our families are trying to enjoy the occasion, but crying out breaks periodically. No one can enjoy themselves with out you. Please come back. Please just wake up. They need you, I need you. Your siblings are coping pretty good, considering the situation. William is masking his emotion, staying strong for the rest of the kids. It has been hard. No one is the same anymore. Meg, who was once a outspoken, energetic 10 year old now doesn't say a word unless asked a question, which isn't very often. Jessie, a little toddler full of energy, now spends her days watching television or playing on your mom's I-Pad. They need you, more than you will ever know. Well, I gtg. C ya later!
