1: Bieber

All I could hear in my head was that one name. It felt like I had been forced to hear it replay in my head for years.
Bieber. Bieber. Bieber.
It never stopped and perhaps it never will...
It always brought trouble, yet it always brought happiness..
Will it ever end?

6. Chapter 6

Justin

I felt bad just leaving her there, alone in my bed. I knew she felt uncomfortable but I felt like I was actually doing something good for once, even if she was really annoying. I was still angry with Chaz for punching her and he was angry with me for getting so worked up. Ryan and I, on the other hand, had to take care of some business together.

“So,” I started as I pulled out a cigarette. “Where to?”

“Well,” he said. “Ooh can I have one?” and reached out his hand to grab a cigarette from the box.

I smacked it away. “No! Where am I driving to?” I asked.

He sighed and pulled out his iPhone. “He said it’s by West Ontario St.”

“West Ontario St.” I echoed. “Alright. Leggo.” I put on my shades and grinned.

Ryan laughed. “You’re so lame.”

“Nah bro, that’s you.”

“Are you sure about that?”

“Positive.”

I pulled out of the driveway and turned on some music. Ryan sang along like the idiot he is and I just laughed my ass off the whole drive there. As we neared West Ontario Street, Ryan pulled out the gun that Peyton had and handed it to me.

“Perfect.” I said and parked. “We’re here.”

We both slammed our doors and walked up to the entrance to the home. Ryan knocked and we waited. I held the gun in my hands, rubbing my fingers in the indents of my name on it. I suddenly became confused when I noticed other fingerprints in the indents, like somebody else had been doing the same thing. But then I remembered that Peyton had the gun and I decided to shrug it off.

“So,” Ryan said. “Is he even here?”

I thought for a moment. “Yeah just be patient.”

“Justin,” he started as the door opened. “Oh never mind.”

I chuckled and stuck out my hand to greet the one and only, Ryan Good.

“Aye Justin!” he shouted and gave me a really big hug. “Long time, no see bud.”

“Yeah,” I managed to choke out. “You can let go of me now.” He let go and told us to step in and look around. His house was nice for the amount of small business he does around here. But he was an expert, which is why I needed him.

I sat down on a big couch in his living room and other Ryan was most likely in the kitchen “Nice place.” I said.

He shrugged. “It’s alright. Nothing compared to yours though.”

I laughed. “Mine’s not that big,” I started. “And it’s not because of what I do it’s because of my stupid reputation in this stupid small town.”

“Justin,” he started to say but I interrupted.

“You’ve done so much and you aren’t even recognized.” I said. “That’s why I’m here.”

He gave me a confused look. “But you’ve killed so many people, why would you-“

I sighed. “That’s not the truth.” I said “It’s only been one… Chaz and Ryan usually do that for me.”

“Oh.”

“But lately we haven’t gotten many requests for anything.” I said. “And when we do, the job doesn’t get done because of me…”

My mind was racing with the memories of what had happened.

He let out one last scream. His blood splattered the floor. His family watched with horror. He deserved to die.

I won’t miss him. His family might. But revenge is sweet. He deserved it.

He deserved to die.

“I just don’t know why I feel uncomfortable with killing after that.” I said.

“After what?” other Ryan walked in looking confused.

“After that fucker killed my mom, and I killed him.” I shook my head and rubbed my face. “I miss her.”

Other Ryan sat down next to me and patted my shoulder. “Well now you have that other girl.”

I punched him. “I don’t like her, she’s annoying.”

Ryan Good looked at us. “Who?”

I sighed. “Well, Ryan and Chaz were doing a manhunt in the woods and this fucking girl was snooping around. So they thought she was the dude they were after and tried to shoot her, but she got away. Then, Ryan, Mr. Smartass here dropped this gun.” I held out the gun. “And she took it. So we got it back but now she’s in my bed because Chaz punched her and I don’t know what to do with her when she gets better”

He nodded. “You seem annoyed by the fact that Chaz punched her.”

My jaw tensed. “It’s not because I like her. It’s because he knows the rules, you can’t hurt a girl in our business.”

“And she had your gun.”

“You know what? Whatever.” I said and threw the gun to him. “So are you interested?”

He contemplated for a moment. “Yeah, on one condition.”

I raised an eyebrow “And what’s that?”

“That Chaz, Ryan, and I aren’t the only ones doing the dirty work.” he smirked.

“What do you mean?” I rose to my feet and he did the same.

“I,” he threw the gun back to me. “am going to teach you how to kill again.”

Peyton

I jolted awake to an unfamiliar bedroom. There was loud music coming from outside of the door and there was blood on the pillow where my head once laid. I started to panic about where I was and I suddenly remembered Justin. He had helped me with my face after Chaz punched me, and then he left. So why was there loud music?

I decided to get up and see what was going on. I tiptoed out of the door, through the hallway, and into the living room. And there was Chaz, dancing like a freak, with beer in his hand and several bottles and cans on the floor.

I lifted an eyebrow “Um…”

He turned around and started laughing and rolling on the floor.

“What the hell Chaz?” I said and picked up a beer can. “You’re fucking drunk!”

He smirked and said, “You want some baby?” in a slurred manner.

“No I do not want any beer, thanks.” I stated. “I’m only eighteen.”

He got up and walked over to me. “Well I’m nineteen and look around.” he swung his arms around “I don’t even give a fuck!”

I backed away as he drew closer. “Please stop.” I winced. “You’re scaring me.”

He laughed. “Aw PeyPey bear is scared.” he made a puppy face and burst into a fit of laughter.

“Don’t call me that.”

“Aw you do that to Justin too.” he said. “You miss him?” and smirked.

I really wanted to punch him but I decided against it “No." my face became red because in a way it was true, I wanted Justin to be here to stop Chaz.

“Mmm.” he said. “You smell good.”

“Chaz, stop.”

“I know you want me.” he grinned and moved so close that our bodies were touching.

“That’s the last thing I could ever want.”

His gaze became hard. “Oh really?”

I nodded.

He laughed. “Alright, then I’ll make you want me.”

I tried to back away but bumped into something. Or should I say someone. Chaz stood up with wide eyes and I turned around only to see Justin.

“Well, well, well Chaz.” he said with hatred. “What’s going on?”

Chaz dusted off his shirt. “Nothing…” he whispered.

“Really?” Justin growled. “Doesn’t seem like nothing.”

I suddenly realized I was still standing in the middle of them so I quickly moved behind Justin. He turned around for a brief moment to look at me and then he returned his gaze to Chaz.

“You’re sick.” he spat. “First you punch her, then she gets a wake-up call by a drunken fool who tried to rape her!”

“I wasn’t trying to rape her I swear.” he said. “She’s just really sexy…”

Justin tensed up. “Pick up these fucking cans and bottles.”

Chaz raised an eyebrow.

“Then pack your bags and get the hell out of my house.”

“But you need me.” he spat. “You can’t kill.”

Suddenly someone behind me cleared their throat. It was a tall guy whom I didn’t recognize and Ryan was standing next to him.

Chaz became wide-eyed again “Ryan Good…” he whispered

“Go!” Justin yelled “Get out!”

Chaz huffed and stormed off to his room. Ryan and Ryan also left, leaving me and Justin alone in the kitchen. He stayed in his spot for a while and I waited for him to turn around. When he did, he asked if I was alright.

“Yeah, I’m fine.” I replied.

“That’s good.” he whispered.

Then, I randomly flung my arms around him “Thank you.”

He seemed surprised at first and I thought he would just tell me to get off. But he didn’t. He wrapped his arms around me and said:

“You’re welcome."
