1: Bieber

All I could hear in my head was that one name. It felt like I had been forced to hear it replay in my head for years.
Bieber. Bieber. Bieber.
It never stopped and perhaps it never will...
It always brought trouble, yet it always brought happiness..
Will it ever end?

10. Chapter 10

Hello pretty girl.”  I shuttered at the sinister voice. How are you today?

I’m great.”  I spat. Fucking amazing.

How wonderful.”  The back of a hand grazed my cheek and my whole body shook. Aw she’s scared.”  The voice said with a laugh.

Then another voice replied. She’s always scared, don’t be surprised.” a familiar voice at that.

I looked up from my feet to see the person’s face.Chaz?”  My eyes grew wide.

Chaz smirked. “Isn’t everyone just so surprised today?”

I stuck out my tongue and pulled forward on the chair I was seated on. The rope that held my hands together rubbed against my wrists as I did so.

“I just saw you the other day” I said. “You just turned all evil and decide to kidnap me because Justin made you leave?”

“You don’t know me and neither does he” he spat. “He had no idea of what was really going on the past few months.”

I nodded, wanting to go no further with the conversation.

“So,” the other voice returned. “Peyton is it?”

“Yeah.” I whispered and looked down at my feet again

“How much do you mean to Bieber?”

“I don’t know.” I said. “Why does it matter to you? We’re not even friends he just wanted his gun back.”

“It matters more than you think.” the voice said.

“Well I know nothing if that’s what you’re wondering.”

“Hmm” the voice thought. “I’m sure you at least know if Bieber has feelings for you, do you not?”

“Who are you?”  I ignored the question.

“You don’t know? Damn I thought my reputation was more widespread around here.”  the voice said and stuck out a hand. “Pleasure to work with you Peyton. I’m Colton.”

‘Colton’ stepped out into the light where I could see his face. He was tall, about 5’9” and he had chocolate brown hair that was spiked up with hair gel. His eyes seemed to be some sort of hazel color and from afar you wouldn’t be able to notice the giant scar running down his cheek.

I glared at him. “You’re not ‘working with me’. You kidnapped me!” I raised my voice.

“With good intentions.” he smirked. “Well, for my business.”

“Like I said before, I don’t know anything!” I said with a pleading tone.

“You’re still of good use though.” he laughed. “Chaz claims that Bieber has budding feelings for you. Am I wrong?”

My face became red. “I don’t know. I’m pretty sure he hates me.” I lied.

“You’re lying you little bitch.” he spat and smacked me on the cheek. “Tell the fucking truth already! I’m not going to wait forever.”

“I said I don’t know!” I squeaked.

Colton’s jaw clenched as he looked back at Chaz.

Chaz shrugged. “She’s lying through her teeth, boss.”

Colton whipped around so he was facing me again. “Bitch just tell the truth already and we’ll let you go!”

I lifted an eyebrow. “Really?”

“Okay well maybe he mentioned it once.” I answered.

“Good girl.” he clapped and smiled. “That’s all I need to know.” he laughed.

“Can I go now?” I asked.

“You thought I was telling the truth.” he smirked. “How cute.”

“But,” I started.

“But nothing.” his gaze became hard. “Chaz explained to me that he has some unfinished business with you. So I’ll let him take care of that while we wait and see if Bieber comes to your rescue.”

“Unfinished business.” I echoed. “We never started doing business in the first place.” I looked at Chaz with cold eyes.

“Well then this should be fun.” Chaz smirked as Colton untied my hands.

“As much as I would like to observe, I better be going.” And with that, Colton left me and Chaz alone.

Okay, Okay I can beat you at this game.” I held up yet another video game to Ryan.

He shook his head and smirked. “Nope.”

“So,” I started. “I can’t beat you at anything?”

“Nah, you could.” he punched my arm lightly. “After training with Good I’m sure you would beat anyone at anything.”

I thought for a moment. “I doubt it.”

Ryan looked at me like I was crazy. “Are you kidding? Don’t you remember what you’ve done in the past?”

I scratched the back of my neck and leaned back on the couch. “Well yeah but--”

He cut me off. “But nothing. You’re still The Bieber, you just can’t see it yourself.”

I wanted to argue further but I knew he would end up winning anyways so I just nodded. Ryan seemed to notice that I wanted to drop the topic so he persisted with a new one, which was just as difficult to talk about.

“So,” he started. “That was nice of her to clean up your little accident.” he gestured toward my chest.

I rolled my eyes and heaved a big sigh. “Do you really want to talk about this?”

“Well you don’t want to talk about yourself so might as well talk about her. You both seem pretty attracted to each other.”

“It’s only been like 3 days,” I started.

“But I saw you kiss her.” he countered.

“I didn’t kiss her.” I lied.

“Don’t lie to me Justin, I know damn well that you did.” he sat back in his spot on the couch opposite of mine.

I rubbed my face with my hands. “I don’t know what’s going on right now.”

“Why’d you let her go to school? I was surprised by that.” he asked.

“Because she really wanted to,” I said. “And I couldn’t force her to stay here just because I wanted that gun from her.” I trailed off.

He nodded, encouraging me to go further.

“Plus I have this nasty thing to deal with.” I lifted up my shirt. “Whoever did this obviously wants me dead and if they think that she’s involved and she gets killed,” I sighed. “I’ll never be able to forgive myself.”

“You’re mom’s death wasn’t--” he started but I butted in.

“Don’t.” I barked. “You don’t know anything about that.”

He licked his lips. “It wasn’t your fault.”

A pang of guilt and frustration washed through me and I grabbed the object that was closest to me, which was a lamp, and flung it across the room. It shattered into a million pieces.

“Justin I’m sorry.” he got up and sat next to me while I tugged at the ends of my hair.

I took a deep breath. “Its fine.”

He nodded and patted my back. “You good?”

I licked my lips. “Yeah I’m good.” and gave him a small smile and a sigh. “But Peyton.” I continued.

“She’s interesting.” he said.

“Yeah, yeah she is.” I said.“A rule breaker too.” I smiled at the thought of her doing something totally bad.

“She’s kind of sexy too.” he butted in. “But interesting.”

“Yeah I have to agree.” We both laughed and that’s when my phone rang. I got up from the couch “Got it.”

I jogged over to where it was placed on the counter and looked at the caller I.D. It was an unknown number so I contemplated about if I should answer it or not. After about three ‘rings’ I picked up.

“Hello?” I asked

Mr. Bieber.” the person said and I somewhat recognized the voice. “Do you know of a certain girl named, Peyton perhaps?”

My eyes grew wide and I turned to look at Ryan. “What about her?” I cautiously asked.

Oh I’m just assuming that you miss her.” the person laughed. “Or could you care less about what she’s doing right now?”

My jaw clenched. “She’s at school.”

“Don’t jump to conclusions now Mr. Bieber.” they said. “She is in fact, with us.” they continued before I could speak. “Bring the gun, and don’t be late.”

And the line went dead.

*Peyton’s POV*

Chaz walked behind me as he led me through a series of confusing hallways. My hands weren’t tied behind me but I still felt confined. He pushed me into a small room with nothing in it except a chair and a small table. Immediately, he held me to the wall and forcefully kissed me. I spent several minutes trying to wiggle out of his grasp but he was too strong.

Once he pulled away I inhaled a huge gulp of hair and he smirked at me. “Having fun yet?” he asked.

It took a lot of courage, but I spit in his face. My consequence was a slap right to my previous face wound from yesterday.

“Don’t worry babe, I can make this fun.” he laughed and crashed his lips onto mine yet again.

I tried to tell him to stop but I never got a chance. Then he pulled away for the second time and I gasped and choked. He laughed again and sat down on the chair.

“Strip for me.” he smirked.

“You’re crazy.” I spat. “You’re all fucking crazy! Even Justin!” I screamed and bolted for the door. How kind of him to leave it unlocked.

I ran down the halls in a panicky fashion. I could hear Chaz running after me but I didn’t dare look back, I wanted to get out of this place. I wanted to get away from Justin, so I wouldn’t be here anymore.

As I took another turn I reached the room where I was before Chaz took me away. Thankfully, nobody occupied it. I spun in every direction in search of some way out other than the way that I came in through. Suddenly I found a door hidden in the corner. I bolted to it and flung it open.

It revealed a room with three people in it.

Chaz stood by Colton with a wicked grin on his face. And Colton stood by, Justin, who was tied up at the wrists and had duct tape over his mouth.

I gasped. “Justin?!”

Colton laughed. “Yes,” he started. “How sad that he actually came to save you.”

I suddenly became confused. “What?”

“You didn’t think your boyfriend would come to save you?” he asked.

“He’s not my boyfriend.” I spat as Chaz started to tie me to a chair yet again. “This is fucking ridiculous.” I screamed.

Colton just ignored me and called Chaz over to talk to him. I caught a glimpse of a certain familiar object as he held it up. It was Justin’s ‘special’ gun that I had found in the snow before. Then I glanced over at Justin who was staring right at me with his mesmerizing brown eyes. He seemed to notice that Chaz was approaching me again and his eyes sparkled for a moment. Then for some odd reason he lifted up his leg a little bit. At first I was really confused but then I realized that he had a plan to get us out of here. So I went along with it.

Chaz grinned at me and leaned over to kiss me again. Immediately as he did so, I jammed my knee into his sensitive area and he collapsed onto the ground. Colton seemed to notice and he basically lunged at me. I then kicked him as well and he fell to the ground. I slipped my hands out of the ropes and bounded over to Justin and did the same for him.

He ripped the duct tape off of his mouth “C’mon we have to get out of here.” He grabbed my wrist and took us to a door that led outside. Although his Range Rover was parked on the curb right in front of me, I started running down the sidewalk.

Justin ran after me. “Where are you going?!” he yelled.

I turned around to face him. “Home! I’m going to my fucking house Justin.” I spat “Something I haven’t done in a long time.”

He grabbed my wrist again. “It’s not safe enough to walk, please let me take you.”

“No!” I shouted. “I’d rather walk.”

That’s when the back door that we had just left from opened to reveal Colton.

Justin lifted an eyebrow “Would you like to re-think that decision?”

I started to walk in the direction of his car. “Fine.” I said as I burst into a mad dash to the car and so did he as Colton came closer to us. Right as we got into the car Justin took off, leaving Colton far behind us.

I heaved a big sigh of relief as I strapped on my buckle.

Justin looked over at me. “Hey,” he said.

I glared at him. “Don’t talk to me,”

I could hear him sigh. “I didn’t plan for this to happen to you,” he started. “None of this would’ve happened if you--”

I cut him off. “If I what Justin?” I turned to face him. “You’re stupid friends dropped the gun in the snow, Not me.” I snapped.

“I know but--” he countered.

“Stop!” I yelled.

He turned to look at me with a cold expression. “Fine you want to fucking go home? Go home.” he pulled over.

I looked at him with a confused look. “What are you doing?”

“Get out.” he spat.

I sat motionless for a couple seconds before I realized that he was going to make me walk home after yelling at him. My eyes started to water as I unbuckled myself and got out of the car. Justin then drove away, leaving me alone.

Well should be a fun walk home.

Thanks Bieber.
