9. Too close for comfort

*Emilie's POV*

Hi, my name is Emilie Cliff, I am the leader of my...why don't we call it a clique. I am popular. If you asked me if I knew the new girl, my answer would be yes. She is the girl was going to talk to; she is the girl that I was going to invite into our clique. That was until I found out that she is also the girl that was flirting it up with my ex boyfriend. Louis Tomlinson. Now I was going to get my revenge.

*Sophie's POV*

I woke up and picked out some clothes for the day, then ran to the bathroom. I took a quick shower and got dressed. Once that was done I crimped my hair and did my makeup. I looked ok today. I grabbed all of my stuff and ran down the stairs, I still had fifteen minutes so I made myself some toast. I had some milk and left, and drove to a close coffee place. Once I walked in, I was out in a split second. I was in a rush today, I wanted to hang out with Louis early this morning, and we hardly ever get to hang out. I drove again and got to the school; once I parked I hopped out and ran into the big front doors. I ran to my locker threw some stuff in it and grabbed the stuff I needed, then off to first hour I went. I was the only one there. I looked at the clock; it couldn't have been that early. I sat at my spot and waited, our teacher must have been somewhere else, because she hadn't come into the class room yet. I didn't care; I started working on homework that I wasn't able to accomplish last night.

I was looking down at my paper when I heard the door open. I supposed it was the teacher so I didn't look up. Just then I felt a body next to mine, I thought it was Louis so I looked up smiling. But it WAS NOT Louis. It was the jock I kicked yesterday. He got really close to my face.

"What do you want?" I asked looking at him.

"I want you to pay for what you did to me yesterday."

"Oh, yeah, and what do you suppose I do to "Pay" for what I did?" I asked all smart, shaking my head and looking back down, putting my pencil that was in my hand down on my paper. I turned his way and put my head on my hands as if I was really giving him all of my attention.

He put his hand on my knee and rubbed his thumb on it. I looked down at my knee and then up at him, he was smiling.

I stood up and grabbed my books; I was out the door in like 30 seconds. On my way to the bathroom I started crying. Before my parents lost their jobs last year, I was raped by some guys my ex boyfriend, Jesse, used to hang out with. I was still crying when some girls walked in. I quickly stood up from the floor, where my back lied against the wall, and ran back to my class room. By the time I made it back to class, Louis was the only one there, sitting in his spot next to mine. The teacher was still gone, I found my seat and sat there staring, my eyes still filled with tears. He looked at me.

"What's wrong Soph?" He asked, he was so sweet, he even sounded like an angel.

"Nothing is wrong." I said, with a hint of whine in my voice. Wow, that was really believable. Tears were still streaming.

"Come on Soph, don't lie, tell me."

I felt like I had known him forever, and I trusted him. I told him everything about Jesse and the jock I kicked.

"Who was this guy you are talking about?" He asked, his hands making fists in his lap.

"I don't know his name, all I know is, he is a jock and I kicked the crap out of him the other morning. I said, a hint of a smile showing on my face.

"If he ever does it again, tell me. I will deal with it."

"Thank you." I say giving him a hug.

He gave a really good hug. I felt so protected. Once we pulled away, I looked straight into his eyes, as he did into mine. I felt myself inching closer and closer, then our lips finally meet. I blushed and looked down, and he just smiled.

"I have been waiting two days to do that." He says smiling even bigger.

"Me too." I say looking back up at him again.

"So tell me, why did you come here this early?" He asked pointing to the clock.

I blushed and looked away.

"Me too." He said.

Then the teacher walked in and looked at us surprised.

"Good morning, you two are here early." She was smiling now.

"Yep just came to have a little bit of study hall." I say staring at Louis from the corner of my eye as I say it. He smirks and looks away.

So now where does that leave us??? I leave myself to wonder.
