7. My secret...(Part two)

*Sophie's POV*

I sat there and thought for a moment, maybe I wanted to tell people about my secret, maybe I don't. It's a big step, I mean; I have only been hiding it for six years. (Sarcastic) I decided to think about it later and clear my head. I stood up, fixed the computer to face the screen, and got the microphone and speaker ready. I walked over to my CD shelf and picked one, I made the CDs on that part of the shelf into karaoke, so I don't have to sing with the original singer. I turned on the TV that was mounted on the wall in front of me; it was hooked up to my stereo so I could see the lyrics. The beginning music started and the title popped up, next the starting lyrics popped up. I was going to sing "Dreamer" by Ghost Town. When that song was over, I decided to sing one more song by them then start my homework. I decided again to sing "You're so creepy." When that was done also, Lucy cheered and I sat back down on the bright red couch.

"So what are you guys doing in English this year?" I asked her, crossing my legs in front of me on the couch.

"We are supposed to write a report on our hero." She sounded bored as she said it.

"Oh, that sounds fun, lucky you."

"Yeah, it would be if I hadn't done this project like 50 other times." She sounded really annoyed at the time.

"Oh, yeah, I guess it would be." I got it now.

"Yeah it is, I have always done the same person and it is pretty much the same old story."

"I don't think I would do the same person every time. I would change it up a bit, why don't you try that?" I asked her.

"Because you really only have one hero."

"Not me, my whole family is my hero." I say.

"What has gotten into you? You’re suddenly happy with your life?"

"Yeah, I guess, I don't know. I am just really happy right now."

"Wow, you got it bad."

"Got what bad?"

"You’re falling for a guy you barely know."

"I know him, we already almost kissed, and I don't like him that much." I lied.

"Ok." She was being sarcastic.

"Seriously." I say trying to make her think I am being serious.

"Sure." She said looking back down at her notebook.

"I am being serious."

"Whatever you say." She mocked.

"Whatever. Don't believe me then." I said, playing the guilt card.

"Alright, I won't." She said still writing in her notebook.

We sat there and did our homework and chatted it up. It got kind of late so I said goodnight to Lucy and shut down my computer. I turned off all of the equipment in the room, and then locked everything back up. I walked over to my bed and plopped down, just to get back up to change into some night clothes. When I was finally done, I lay down and just like that, I was out.
