3. Meeting him

*Sophie's POV*

I walked into my first class and was kind of late after freaking out in the bathroom.

"Late on your first day." Said Mrs. Schmit. "Not a good way to start."

I looked at her.

"Sorry." I said and sat down in the only open spot left. I sat down and stayed silent. Then the boy to my right started talking.

"Hi, my name is Louis and you are?" He held out his hand.

"Hi, I am Sophie, Sophie Brown." I said.

"You must not be from around here?" He asked me.

"No, why do you ask that?"

"Because you have an English accent."

"Oh, yeah. I am from America. Minnesota actually."

"Oh, cool."

"Yeah, I guess." I was looking down at my table. He must have noticed.

"Did I say something to offend you?"

"Huh?" I looked up. "No, I am just not really good at having conversations."

"Well we are having a pretty good one." He was smiling at me. I smiled back.

"Yeah, I guess we are." I was now blushing, so I looked away. He started to silently laugh a little.

The bell rang and we stood up, I had totally missed everything the teacher had said. I kind of liked Louis, he seemed different. I was about to walk out of the room.

"Hey. Do you have a place to sit at lunch, yet?" He asked me.

"No, I haven’t got any friends yet." I said smiling.

He opened his mouth really wide at me. "I thought we were friends." He said being funny, trying to hold back a laugh.

"Oh, yeah, we are." I said, smiling.

"Yeah, that's right; you’re my new best friend." He said walking in a different direction.

I laughed shook my head and looked down. I got to second period and it went by fast all through forth period. I finally got to go to lunch, I was starving. I was walking when I felt a hand touch my shoulder. I looked to my right and didn't see anyone then to my left and didn't see anyone. I knew it was Louis, so I took a dead stop, and he ran into me. I laughed.

"I knew it was you, Louis." I said.

"You can call me Lou, since we are friends." He smirked.

He was walking backwards looking at me. I stopped, and opened my mouth open wide, mocking his face from earlier.

"I thought we were best friends." I laughed.

"Oh, yeah, we are." He said mocking what I said earlier.

Then we walked to lunch and found a seat.

We had a nice conversation and he asked me out and we fell in love, got married, had children, and died.

Kidding, kidding, my story is just getting started; I still have a lot to tell you about my secret. Which reminds me, I should probably tell you all my secret?

My secret is......
