Charlie McCleen

Charlie was alone. There was enough time.

1. A Little Bit About Charlie McCleen

Charlie enjoyed being alone, she was used to it by now and it didn't bother her one bit. She kept to herself and spent most of her free time up in her bedroom, earphones in, staring at the walls or certain body parts. When asked if she was ok, Charlie would reply sweetly, "I'm fine, don't worry about me, its just girlie things. Give me a day or two and I will be bouncing off the walls with joy." This, of course was never true.

The truth was, Charlie just wanted to feel safe and be heard. She wanted to be loved and feel alive instead of convincing herself she was dead.

If only someone had seen the signs, seen Charlies clear hints that she wasn't fine at all. If only people had seen the true emotions and thoughts panicking inside of her head. They could of stopped her, they could have helped her, they could have saved her.

It wasn't her fault she felt the way she did, it never was, but if she had spoken up and made people aware of how she felt, maybe, just maybe, her mum wouldn't be drinking herself deeper and deeper into her depression as we speak.

Charlie didn't know the effects her actions would cause, and she didn't care what people would think when they found out, after all, they were the ones who caused her to act the way she did......
