Beautiful D i s a s t e r

Scarlett Elouise "Elle" Fosters is your regular everyday 16 year old girl. She has your normal everyday dreams. To fall in love, get married, and have a family. Those will just have to wait however. At the young age of 13, her mother and father both abandoned her and her two younger brothers, Dusty and Reef. Ever since she has been fighting to keep them together, her only source of money being her uncle. He gives them $500 a month but that always goes towards the boys. Oh hold on, she also has a one year old baby girl, but that was due to the fact that she was raped. She has all the good grades, the looks, and the good attitude. Everyone in the school looks up to her as an idol, not knowing of what happens behind the scenes. Behind locked doors and closed screens, she's been to juvy 21 times, charged for stealing 45 times and breaking and entering 12 times. Can a simple curly headed singer change her life?

4. Shopping with Reagan

Rumbling noises filled the house. My eyes cracked open, the noises quiet and steady. My breathing was still shallow as the footsteps stopped. I lifted my head slowly and turned to find Reagan not there. Panic spread throughout my body like a wild fire. I stood up straight and grabbed the metal bat that occupied a corner of my room. I took a deep breath and tip toed around. Rule one about a break in, don't be loud. This person was doing it wrong. I could hear them whispering to themselves.

"Well, this is a surprise and she said that she didn't want to do the contest." the voice said softly. I raised the bat over my head to strike the person in the back of the head. Wait wait wait. Contest?

"Gigi?" I whispered. The person turned to face, me and sure enough it was Gigi. Her blue eyes widened as she let out a squeal.

"Holy mother of God! Do NOT sneak up on me like that!" she squealed and hit my shoulder.

"What? Don't sneak up on you? What're you doing here?" I asked and lowered the bat.

"Came to get your entry for the contest. I knew you did one. Now, I'm going to the post office and mailing these!" she chimed happily.

"What? No! Don't, Gigi!" I protested.

"Why? Even, Ray Ray thinks you should win! C'mon Elle...." she pleaded with puppy dog eyes. I thought about it and tapped my chin. Maybe I should. It's not like I'll win anyway. Its me against 5.9 trillion people. I let out a soft sigh after running my hand through my hair.

"F-fine...I guess so." I finally let out. I shot her a small half lidded smile as I picked Reagan up. Gigi let out an excited scream and jumped up and down.

"Yay! Yay! I'll be back at two! I love you boo!" she literally screamed. I only smiled and watched her prance out of the apartment.

I smiled and turned my head to Reagan who was playing with my hair. Her soft giggles filled the small space as I carried her to the kitchen.

"How's breakfast sound love?" I asked her. Reagan dropped my hair and her brown eyes widened a bit. A fit of giggles left her body and she looked around the room. I only managed to smile and giggle a bit as well. Babies made everything better.

"Okay, so bacon and waffles." I said and grabbed the frozen waffles and pre-cooked bacon. While we ate, I looked at the money from the other day. I used our uncle's $500 to pay the bills, $500 of the money earned yesterday went to the rent. That left $1,067 for spending.

I thought it was about time that I actually went shopping for myself.  I mean Dusty just got a new pair of shoes from my last break in. He also got a pretty neat DC outfit. Reef said he didn't want anymore clothes because if he got anymore he'd have more then any boy should.

"Mama! mama!" Reagan's voice slapped me back to reality. I looked down at her and smiled. She only giggled back and kissed her hand, placing it over my heart. I smiled warmly and nodded.

"Heart." I told her and smiled. I then picked her up and kissed her cheek.

"C'mon little monster. We're gonna go shopping!" I said and tickled her. She giggled and ran to the bathroom. It took about and hour to wash up both her and I. When we finished, I slipped into a pair of short khaki's and a shirt that hung off my shoulders with AC-DC on it. I may not have much money but things like these weren't hard to find. I often stole them too. I mean after three years; you become good at what you do. I've never paid for any clothes in two years. But that's not where this should be going. I matched my outfit with a pair of light peach colored flats and a green beanie. Reagan had on a cute yellow sun dress with white Polk-a-dots. She also had those cute little baby sun glasses.

"Cutie pie!" I told her an hugged her before grabbing my purse and heading out with her. We managed to hit up American Eagle, Forever 21, Deliah's, Abercombie and Fitch, and even Hollister. All those name brand stuff. We were at our last stop, GAP. I had everything I needed in my arms, getting ready to pay.

"Reagan Nicole, stay right here. Don't move okay?" I told her and let her hand go. I set my things on the counter and smiled, watching the price go up.

"Ma'am. Ma'am. Ma'am!" I heard a lady behind me. I turned to her with a smile.

"YOUR BABY!" She screamed out and pointed to Reagan who was waddling out the store's door.

"Reagan!" I screamed in a rush panic. I dropped everything I had, running after her. When I reached the door, a large crowd had formed outside. I looked around frantically my world had just slipped out of my fingers in a mere second.

"Reagan! Reagan!" I screamed out as people passed me with crazy stares. Tears streamed down my face as I looked. She was no where in sight.  I stopped by a bench and plopped down, covering my face with my hands.

"Miss? Miss? Miss?" I heard a heavy British accent call me. I looked up, my gray eyes probably full of tears. There before me stood a very handsome guy with curly hair and green eyes.

"Is this your baby?" He asked and I looked to his side to see he was holding my baby girl. My eyes lit up and I smiled big. She was playing in his hair, giggling.

"Reagan!" I almost screamed. She turned to me and smiled.

"Mama!" She said in her happy state. The guy handed her over and smiled warmly.

"She's a really happy baby." He commented. I looked up and nodded.

"She probably gets it from her dad." I said and watched as Reagan did back bends and twists in my arms.

"How'd you know she's mine?"

"Oh well, when I saw her she looked a bit lost, then I heard you shouting her name and she was trying to find you. So I grabbed her and found you." He smiled and looked at the little trouble maker.

"Thank you so much...?" I asked a bit skeptical of his name.

"Harry." He simply said.

"Well thank you, Harry. I'm Elle fosters." I said an extended my free hand. He took my hand into his larger one.

"It's an honor Elle." He said and before I had the chance to answer, another British voice called out  "Harry! C'mon!" He shouted out.

"I'm coming Louis! Bye Elle. I'll see you around." He said and wiped away a stray tear.

"Styles!" He called behind him when he turned to leave. I looked over at Reagan who had gotten sleepy and was dozing off.

Hmm...styles. Like he likes my style. Harry Styles. Cool name.  Wait. Harry. Styles. I looked over the crowd for him.

"Harry styles. I just met Harry styles." I breathed out in shock. As I walked back to the store, I couldn't help but still feel flabbergasted. I grabbed my things and paid, my mind never leaving the thoughts. I mean how could I, a person of my status meet one of the most famous people in the world?

"So unreal." I whispered as I got home. All day and all night my mind stayed on the fact that I had met my idol.

"Elouise." I heard my landlord's voice call me out of my trance. I turned to her and smiled.

"Hmm?" "Your uncle told me to tell you that he's got the boys. They'll be staying with him for a while so they can get some 'guy time'. He said not to worry about it. He'll take good care of them." she told me and pushed her glasses up.

"Oh, alright. Thank you Mrs. Mandy." She only nodded and headed back down stairs. Reagan ran through the house with my only One Direction magazine, holding up Harry's picture. She kept smiling and kissing it. I rolled my eyes and snatched her up.

"C'mon bad girl. Mommy's sleepy." I said and carried her to bed.
