Be My Summer Love

Two girls, Alyssa and Isabelle, run away in hopes of a better future. When they get into a car accident, they meet 5 boys that change their life.

Harry's POV

We weren't even in a hurry. We just didn't want to be followed by paps anymore, so we were speeding more than usual. We were getting on the highway when I thought I saw a familiar balck van that belonged to an annyoing pap that showed up everywhere we went. I started weaving through the lanes to put more distance between us and the van. It was difficult with me being so tired though. We'd done so many shows in the past month; our work schedule was exhausting. We'd been driving for 5 hours and I needed sleep. I woke up about 45 seconds later to the sound of the boys screaming my name. I was swerving from all the cars, hoping I wouldn't hit anyone. I jerked the steering wheel to the right and flew into the front of someone's car.

I woke up with a massive headache in my temples and a high pitched ringing in my ears.

"Oh, fuck," I mumbled rolling my head back with pain when I tried to sit up. Then I remembered what happened.

Well I'm a terrible person; I ruined some guy's car. I thought to myself. I tried to sit up again. On my right I could see Louis not awake yet with some pretty nasty scratches on his face. I looked to my other side to try to find a nurse but I stopped when I saw a girl sitting on the edge of my hospital bed. The girl had long brown hair and was fiddling with her phone in her hands, refusing to look me in the eyes. She looked so tired and worn out but nonetheless breathtaking.

"Sorry for screwing up your car," she looked at the floor guiltily. She must've been the person I'd wrecked into.

"It's fine, but it wasn't your fault. I kinda fell asleep," I confessed. She looked up at me in shock. Her eyes looked straight at mine and were brimming with tears.

"What? No. It's my fault, just about everything is." she murmured sadly.

"What's wrong? It wasn't your fault that we crashed." I said trying to figure out why she was so upset.

"No, it's not that. It's okay, I'm fine." the girl replied.

"I'm Harry" I said, trying to figure out her name.

"Alyssa." she answered.

"Alyssa, you can tell me what's wrong. I'm not a bad person I swear." I chuckled at the end. She sighed.

"I came here when my dad's job moved him. Pretty much everyone hates me here and it sucks. People say shit about me all the time and don't even get me started on how many times someone's beaten me up because I've lost count. And it doesn't exactly help that my only friend gets beaten by her own parents." she shrugged. "We were on the road to try to run away."

"I'm so sorry. I wish I could help you." I mumbled guiltily.

"It doesn't matter." She disregarded.

"Thank you for telling me. It means a lot that you'd trust me. You shouldn't listen to them because you are so beautiful. And you're so brave for doing this for so long." I said. She nodded and looked around.

"Do you know where my friend is?" she asked me, getting up from the end of my bed.

"Uh, no, but you can check in the other boys' rooms. She might be in one of theirs." I suggested.

"Were you guys going anywhere specific?" I asked.

"Just anywhere really, no set place, just away." she answered.

"Do you need a place to stay while your car is getting fixed up? Because we've got a flat around here we use when we're in town and you can stay there." She thought for a minute.

"But we're not famous or anything. And you don't even know us," She chuckled.

"Then consider it a way to make up for absolutely wrecking your car." I joked. She smiled, laughing along. She brushed her hair back and gave me a small smile in response.

"Um, yeah, ok. We'll stay at your flat, as long as you don't mind." She nodded her head.
