Forever & Always

19 Year old Addie's dreams finally come true. She marries the man of her dreams. When things take a turn, well, you never know that happens in the life of a rock star.

8. Chili's

We met Leah and Nick at Chili’s. They were already seated and waiting for us. Joe had his arm around my waist as we were walking. We sat down at the table. I had Nick across from me and he was giving us worried looks.

“So we had some news for both of you but Nick already knows. I don’t know if Addie told Leah yet though.” Joe said looking at me. I shook my head.

“I’m pregnant!” I said trying to forget what happened today. Leah gave Joe a concerned look.

“You realize earlier, the sound in the studio was on and Addie heard you say that this was a mistake right?” Leah said testing Joe. He nodded.

“Yes I realize that now. I shouldn’t have said that. I should have talked to her to see what she wanted to do before I told Nick and before I started stressing out.” He looked at me, “Addie, I should have talked to you first so we could get on the same boat. I love you and I’m sorry.” He was rubbing my back.

“It’s ok.” I said quietly, “I don’t know if you’ll be ok once we tell your parents.” I said. Leah, Nick and I started laughing at the look on Joe’s face. It was priceless. I put my hand on his back. “Don’t worry. I’ll be right here with you.” He calmed down a bit.

“Let’s work on planning this wedding,” Joe said smiling.

“Ok!” Leah said with a smile. “So color scheme, I would like crimson. But I just haven’t picked a place yet.”

“Well that’s a start.” Nick said taking Leah’s hand. “We are getting short on time though. It’s July 22nd and we’re planning for April 15….” Nick trailed off.

The waitress came to the table to take our orders. She looked no older than 18. Really pretty. She had black hair and green eyes. The name on her tag said “Rachel.” Anyways, she was making eyes at Joe and I was getting jealous. It’s not like me to get jealous for any reason, but I felt threatened by her making eyes. I slipped my hand into Joe’s on top of the table. He looked down at me after telling her his order. I was the first to order. I got chick fajitas, my favorite. The waitress looked at me and then Joe and realized that we both had rings on our left hands and backed off. I kissed Joe’s shoulder as she walked away.

“What was that all about?” Nick asked me. He was giving me a funny look. He sat there and watched the whole thing.

“Well, she was making eyes at him,” I began pointing to Joe, “and I guess I felt threatened. I don’t know. I don’t normally feel that way around other girls.” I looked at Joe apologetically. He kissed my forehead.

“It’s ok.” He said. He squeezed my hand. “You know you’re my girl and my only girl. Forever and always, babe.” Joe kissed my forehead again.

About 10 minutes later, she came back with our food and refills. She had this look of pure hate on her face when she looked at me and then wiped it off when she spoke to Joe. As we ate, we were talking about Leah and Nick’s vacation they took while we were on our honeymoon and then we talked a bit about their wedding. After dinner, we all went to our own houses to get some sleep. It's been a long day today.
