"Bye mommy," Kennie waved as she walked into the building. "Bye baby girl! I love you." Logan ran to me and hugged my legs. "Bye mom," he smiled to me. "Behave Log," I told him. "I will," he smiled before he followed his sister. When they disappeared into the building, I walked back to the car. Louis and I had been married for five beautiful months and that's how long I've been pregnant. Lou was ecstatic when we found out. "I promise to be there every step of the way," he promised as he wiped a tear off his cheek. I will never forget the excitement in his eyes. I have always thought about how he would react when we started thinking about a family.

Clemi was bouncing around in her cage. "Calm down ya mutt," I told her. I opened her cage and she came running out. I walked to the back door to let her out. She flew out the door and ran around the yard. I sat on a patio chair to watch her. Lou and the guys were in London having a meeting about starting "reunion" tour which Lou strongly disagreed about. I heard the front door slam. "Court!" Sierra's voice rang through the house. "Out here!" I yelled back. I heard her storm to the patio. "I'm done with Harry," she huffed. "What happened this time?" I sighed. This happened every other week: they would get in a fight, Sierra would come to the house, get liquored up, then call Harry telling him that she forgives him. "I caught him checking out another girl!" she exclaimed. "Didn't this happen already?" I giggled. "It's not funny Court! I've had enough of it. I'm going back home tomorrow." The last sentence hit me hard. "Dude think this out before you go," I told her. "Court I have. I can't stand him any more. I'm going home." I hated seeing her like this. "Do you need a place to stay?" I offered."Nahh. I got a hotel down the street." "Do you want to stay for dinner?" "I guess," she sighed. I nodded. "I'll text you when I start it if you need to go anywhere." "Alright. See you then babe," she said before kissing my cheek. I never could quite understand Sierra. One second, she could be so mad her face is red, the next she's laughing at something stupid.

When the front door closed, I brought Clem inside. I sat down on the couch to watch a stupid TV show. I texted Lou to get somethings from the grocery store on his way home.

"Court, I'm home!" I announced as I closed the door with my foot. "In the kitchen babe!" she yelled back. I walked to the kitchen and placed the bags I had gotten from the grocery store. "Who's coming over tonight?" I asked. "Sierra. She's going back home tomorrow," she sighed digging in the bag. "How much do you want to bet that they are gonna be back together by the time she gets here," I chuckled. "She said that this was the last straw," she mimicked her best friend. "My ass," I laughed. "Do you mind picking the kids up?" she asked, fluttering her eyelashes. "Alright," I sighed.

I drummed my fingers on the steering wheel as I drove. "Daddy!" Kennie yelled when I came into the building. "Hey princess," I smiled as I picked her up. "How was your day?" I asked her. "Great!" she smiled. Logan ran over to me with a smile. "Ready?" I asked. They both nodded. In the car, we sang along to the radio. Once we pulled into the driveway, I saw Sierra's car. "Daddy Aunt Sierra is here!" Kennie pointed when I got her out. I nodded then walked to the other side to get Log out. They ran to the house. I chuckled as I followed them. "Where's Uncle Harry?" Logan asked. "He's at home," Sierra smiled. "Why?' Kennie asked. "He's sleeping," she lied. "Why don't you two go to the play room and we'll call you down when it's time to eat," Court suggested. They nodded then raced each other up the steps.

"So can get you something to drink?" Lou offered. "Not thanks. Court me one already," she said showing her glass. He nodded then sat next to me. There was a knock on the door. "I got it," I smiled as I got up. I opened the door to see Harry. "Hey," he weakly smiled. I stepped out then closed the door behind me. "What are you doing here?" I asked him. "I wanted to apologize." I sighed, trying to thing of how I wanted to word things. "Harry, I think you should stay apart from each other. You two need to sort things out. Just take a break." I saw tears come to my friend's eyes. "I'm sorry Hazz," I said, giving him a comforting pat on the back. "It's what's best for the best of you." "I understand," he muttered as he turned to leave. "Be careful!" I yelled after him. I didn't go back inside until he was out of sight.

"Who was that?" Lou asked when I came back in. "No one," I fake smiled. I felt terrible for lying but I was doing the best for my friend. I went to the kitchen and saw that the stuffed shells were done. "Foods done!" I yelled. At the dinner table, I couldn't get Harry's face out of my mind. Did I really do the right thing?
