Wide Open Spaces

Anna expected to be all alone this summer on the farm while her parents went on a long trip around the world. But what she didn't expect was that she'd be accompanied by all of One Direction--and fall in love with Harry.

30. Wide Open Spaces

"You have to go home."
"But, Harry!" I exclaimed. "I came all the way to Paris for you! You're not just gonna drive me away, are you?"
"When your dad finds out about it, he's REALLY not going to want you with me!" he said.
"Or maybe he'll see how far I'll go for you!" I yelled.
We stood there silent for a moment. "Alright. You can stay for awhile."
"Awhile?!" I said. "I can't go back there!"
Harry sighed and grabbed my hands. "Anna, that's your home. You're not a city girl. You always have that adorable smell of hay and cows, and you say creek wrong, and you're meant for wide open spaces."
"Can we just not talk about it?" I asked quietly. I leaned down to pick up my bag, then walked alongside Harry to the hotel.
The suite was gorgeous. It had light pink couches with beautiful lace, and all the color was so pretty and vintage.
"Sorry that there's only one bed," Harry said. "I...you know...didn't expect another person."
"I'll take the couch," I told him.
"You don't have to do that," he protested.
"But I WANT to." I dropped my bag on the couch to claim my territory.
While Harry threw his suitcases in the bedroom, I made my out onto the breathtaking balcony. We were over one of the streets with all kinds of French shops and people, and the Eiffel Tower loomed in the distance.
Harry put his hand over mine on the railing. "Beautiful, isn't it?"
I nodded. "It's more magical than I ever imagined."
