Wide Open Spaces

Anna expected to be all alone this summer on the farm while her parents went on a long trip around the world. But what she didn't expect was that she'd be accompanied by all of One Direction--and fall in love with Harry.

18. Nothing I'd Rather Do

The next day, Harry suspiciously wasn't with me during the day. But as soon as night fell, Harry walked up to the house, seeing me laying in the grass looking at the stars. He laid down next to me.
"Wow," he said.
"I know," I said. "You don't get to see this in the city. Sometimes people just have to come out here and experience what life's really about, what we should be enjoying. The country is so full of nature and people, and you don't get that kind of atmosphere in the city, all the bright street lights and rude people walking."
Harry started to get up and grabbed my hand. "I have a surprise for you!" he exclaimed.
He led me back to where the hidden gazebo area was, but it looked completely different. He lined it with little Christmas lights, and I saw a CD player on the rail. We walked over onto the gazebo.
"This is amazing, Harry," I marveled.
"Not yet," he said, leaning in to softly kiss me.
I smiled. I switched on the CD player to a slow song. We wrapped our arms around each other and slow danced all night. There was nothing I'd rather do.
