Wide Open Spaces

Anna expected to be all alone this summer on the farm while her parents went on a long trip around the world. But what she didn't expect was that she'd be accompanied by all of One Direction--and fall in love with Harry.

22. I Love You Too Much to do That

Today was the day Harry would leave. Before I even fed the animals, I ran down to the boys' house. I burst through the front door and wrapped my arms around him, crying. Harry pulled away and held my shoulders at arm's length. "Anna, why are you crying so hard? We're still going to be together, just not right next to each other all the time!" Harry said.
"It's because it's gonna be a long time before I see you, and you were the first real friend I've had out here that isn't a cow," I said. Harry smiled. "And at the end of the summer, I have to find a job, which probably won't be around here."
"Get one in London!" Harry exclaimed. I shook my head. "Well either way, no matter how far apart we are, I will always love you, Anna. Don't you think that I'll forget all about you. I love you too much to do that."
I put my arms around his neck and kissed him. "I love you."
I cried as I watched the boys pull out in the sportscars and drive down the road towards the airport.
