33. I Do

**Two Weeks Later**

Louis POV

“Come on, Louis, you’re going to make us late!” I heard Liz scream from the kitchen. I fastened my tie and looked at my hair one more time before exiting my room, heading down stairs. “It is about time, your mum is going to be pissed if I don’t get there on time.” Liz tried to explain. “Calm down, Liz. I’m right here” I said, taking my foot off the last step. “It’s about time! Hurry up and get in the car!” She yelled swinging the kitchen door open.

Liz pulled up to the tall building, slamming on brakes. She got out and threw me the keys over the top of the car. “Liz, slow down. My mum doesn’t get mad that easy.” I told her. “Shut up, Lou.” She mumbled. We opened the door to the building and found Tony talking to his friends. “I got to go find your mum, bye.” Liz waved as she walked away.

“And this is Louis.” Tony said standing beside me, talking to a man. “Hello, Louis, I’m Tony’s brother, Andrew.” Said the man about the same height as Tony. “Hey.” I replied.

I opened the door to find Johanna in the wedding dress she had picked out a few weeks ago. “Hey, darling. Your dress is hanging over there,” She said pointing to a hanger. “Go put it on.” I went and took it off the hanger and went into a dressing room. I slipped the red material over my body and looked in the mirror. “You ready?” Johanna asked. “Yeah.” I responded, unlocking the door. Johanna covered her mouth with her hands and let out a small gasp, “You look gorgeous.” She said. “Thanks.” I replied.

The pews were full of people, the music played and they rose to face the bride. I stood in front of Louis who gripped my waist. Johanna came and stood facing my father. I turned my focus to the crowd to see Niall looking right at me and mouthed, ‘I love you’. I smiled and turned my attention back to the bride and groom. “Tony Adam Parker, do you take Johannah Marie Tomlinson to be your wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for rich, for poor, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death?” The preacher asked. “I do.” My father said, smiling to Johanna. “And do you, Johannah Marie Tomlinson, take Tony Adam Parker to be your husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for rich, for poor, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death?” The older man repeated. “I do.” Johannah said. The man closed his book and looked at my father and Johannah, “I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the/-0 bride.” My dad leaned in and kissed my step mother. I tried to keep my emotions inside of me; I made my best fake smile that I could. Louis’ grip on my waist grew tighter, “You can let it out when we get home, try to act normal.” He whispered in my ear. Well, it must have been obvious that I wasn’t exactly ‘happy’ about my new step mom if Louis noticed.

The after-party started and all the guests sat around the tables sat out across the floor. “You look beautiful.” An Irish accent said as a pair of lips gently kissed my cheek. “Thanks.” I responded. “Hey, chic!” Casey said, screeching the chair against the floor. Harry walked up and sat down next to Casey, I felt myself move a little closer to Niall.

Everyone was one the dance floor, “Okay, this one is for the bride and groom.” The DJ spoke into the microphone. A slow song came on, Dad took Johannah’s hand and they started to dance. “Do you want to dance with me?” I turned around to see Louis holding out his hand. I smiled and took it as he brought me to the dance floor. “Well, it’s official we’re siblings now.” Louis said as we swayed from side to side. “Yeah, now I have a brother.” I laughed.

Louis and I arrived home very late that night; Dad and my step mother had gone off on their honeymoon, so it would just be me and Louis for about a week. “You still in that dress?” Louis asked opening the door to my bedroom. “Yeah, I haven’t bothered to take it off yet.” I responded not looking up from my phone. “I can help.” I snapped my head towards him. “I’m kidding.” Louis said holding his hands up in defense. I rolled my eyes and got up to find some more comfortable clothes. I grabbed a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt then headed towards my bathroom. “I could always help, you know.” Louis tried again. “Louis, siblings don’t hit on each other.” I laughed, closing the door behind me.

“Do you want to watch a movie?” Louis asked while he was playing with my hair on the living room couch. “Sure, what movie?” I replied. “I don’t care; do you have a movie I mind?” He said back. “We could watch Finding Nemo.” I said with a smile on my face. “Really, Finding Nemo? As in the movie about the clown fish that swims out to sea to touch the ‘butt’ then gets kidnapped by humans; then his dad has to find him with the help of the mental blue fish?” Louis sassed. “Yep, that’s the one.” “Alright, I’ll go look for it.” He replied as he got up and went to look for the movie.
