Her heart had been broken. Many times. Abby doesn't think it wise to trust anyone too much now. Except for her best friend Harry. He was always there for her and she thought she might've been falling for him. But when Harry's best mate, Zayn, comes along, Abby is torn. Leave it to two boys to take her on a bumpy ride that she definitely didn't ask for, and yet a ride so irresistible.

2. Midnight Argument

The drive to our house didn't take too long, considering that Harry and I were catching up the entire time. We talked about some plans we had for the summer, like taking a trip with the boys to New York. Soon, the truck pulled into your driveway and the boys eagerly jumped out. Louis and I shared a flat, ever since Louis moved out after going on the xfactor. I  unlocked the front door and let them in. After Niall discovered the pantry, we decided to turn on a movie. Although Louis insisted that we watch a scary movie, Liam wouldn't allow for it.  He said, "I don't know if we should...I mean, I wouldn't want my little sister to watch this," and he looked right at me. Oh boy, Liam could be annoying sometimes. Don't get me wrong, I love him to pieces..but, Liam is Liam. Louis just laughed at Liam's comment while Harry looked at me with a grin on his face. He said, "No, we wouldn't want little Abby to watch this...she's too young to.." "Shut up Harry." I said while playfully slapping his face. Zayn was annoyed with the bickering so he just put in the movie without asking anybody. I got comfortable, sitting next to Harry and soon enough, I was asleep in his arms. While I was sleeping, I could hear distant arguing. It sounded like Louis and Harry were in another argument. No surprise there. But it sounded like they just said my name. "Abby is my sister, Harry. Get your dirty paws off!" "I wasn't trying to do anything! You know that she and I are just best friends! And nothing more." "Yeah, well it sure didn't look like it, Harry." "What was I doing that was so wrong?" "Oh, I think you know Harry..." I bolted upright, having heard the boys. I turned around, finding them looking at me, as if I had hit the pause button. Louis cleared his throat to break the tension and said, "Abby, you're up. How about you head up to bed, it's 2 in the morning. The other boys left a couple hours ago." I looked right at Harry who was giving me the most innocent face, making me silently laugh. I walked over to my brother and gave him a hug. "Good night Louis." "Good night, Abby." I turned to Harry and gave him a hug, which was awkward because I could feel Louis tense up behind me. I looked up at Harry and said, "Call me tomorrow, okay?" He timidly smiled at me and nodded his head. As I walked upstairs, I heard Louis talking to Harry, saying, "Harry, I want you to listen closely. You keep your hands off my sister, or else. I don't want her to date you, she's too good for you. And you know that. If you really cared for her, you would do what's best for her and leave her alone." Suddenly, it got quiet downstairs, so I rushed up to my bedroom and lay down on my bed, staring up at the ceiling. Thoughts were racing through my mind. My brother was getting mad at my best friend for doing absolutely nothing wrong. Harry and I were going to remain friends forever. We had already discussed how we didn't want anything further that could potentially ruin our friendship. I knew that Harry cared for me, and so did my brother Louis. Apparently, a little too much. As I changed into my pajamas, I made a mental note to talk to Harry tomorrow to straighten everything out. But right now, I was exhausted and I almost immediately fell asleep as my head hit my pillow.
