What if you were almost ready to give up and suddenly, a chance is given to you?
All of the things mentioned before are happening to her, Karen Brown. She’s traveling for her Christmas vacations to Canada. What she doesn’t know is that her idol is going to be there too.

The best relationships are those that overcome every obstacle that comes along the way.

4. getting to know each other

Justin then spoke to the salesman there.

“I seriously need any pants, not jeans, any shirt or t-shirt, glasses, sun glasses…?”

“Justin Bieber?” The salesman said.

“SH! Don’t you get I’m hiding!?” I chuckled. Justin looked back at me then back to the salesman.

“Oh, yes Mr. Bieber. Come here.” The salesman took Justin to the men clothes and I stayed at a couch in the store.

Justin was looking for pant of his size; he entered the dressing room and went out.

“What do you think?” He asked me.

“What? Oh, it’s ok. If it fits you, then it’s ok.” I answered.

“Oh, well. Ok.” He then went back to the dressing room.

When Justin finally got out he was totally different. He had black pants, his Supras, a white shirt with a black leather jacket, and sunglasses.

“How do I look? Different from before?” Justin asked.

“You look…good. And yeah, you look totally different. Where’s your clothe?” He didn’t look good, he looked sexy.

“Oh, it’s inside. Hey, uhm, I’ll leave this on.” Justin said to the salesman. “I’ll go pay. Come.” He said back to me.

We both went on to pay and Justin went out the store unrecognizable.

“Thanks for everything, ok? How can I pay you back?” Justin said.

“The truth is, you can pay me back with a picture with me.” I said smiling. “Meeting you was already the best gift.”

“You’re a Belieber?” Oh god, help me. He said Beliebers.

“Yeah, I am.” I said with a stupid smile on my face.

“Well, I’m glad I gave you that gift.” Justin smiled. “Where’s the camera then?”

I gave him my phone and we took a picture together. Justin was doing some crazy face and I was just smiling.

I laughed at the picture.

“You liked it?” Justin said laughing too.

“Yeah.” I laughed again.

“I’m glad you’re not some crazy Belieber too, though. I’m glad I can talk to you normally. Why do I have that feeling that we have met before?” Justin said.

“Oh, no. We haven’t. It’s actually my first time meeting you.” I said hiding my smile a bit.

“Are you sure? You are not like… wait. But you talk to me like if you already knew me for years!”

“I know you for years.”

“I meant personally. Like a friend.”

“Oh…Then, no. I have never met you before. And thanks for the compliment.”

“Wait. Which one?” He laughed.

“I’m not a crazy Belieber.”

“Oh!” He laughed again. “Well, welcome. Karen, would you like some ice cream?”

“Uh, sure. Why not?”

We went on to the ice cream shop. Justin told me that he would order them and that I went on to sit down. As I did so, Justin was ordering when he asked me, “What’s your favorite ice cream?”

“Just order vanilla with caramel, please.”

Justin came back with the two ice creams. His was just like mine. I took one of them since they were both the same.

“Oh wait.” Justin suddenly said.

“What is it?”

“I don’t remember which one I licked.”

“Uh… I licked one of these ice creams… I don’t remember which one was it…”

“Oh, Justin…” I said with a face palm.

“I’m sorry! Uh, you don’t mind eating that one? What if it’s the one I licked, though?”

“You know what,” I grabbed the spoon and ate a bit of the ice cream, “I don’t care.”

Justin laughed and said, “I was just joking, but I expected something else.”

“What fif fiu exfecfed?”

I swallowed the Ice cream I had on my mouth. “I said, what did you expected?”

“For you to tell me ‘Oh gosh! Please don’t be so disgusting! Go buy me another one Justin! EWWWW’” Justin said mocking someone.

“Me? Say that? Never.”

Justin just laughed. He finally let his teeth show, his smile… just really made me smile too.

“Why? Who says that?” I said smiling just a bit.

“Don’t tell anyone.”

“Uh, sure.”

“Selena did that.” Justin laughed.

“Yeap.” Justin laughed even more. I laughed too.

“Oh, well then. I’m not her.” I smiled just a little bit.

“I’m glad.” Justin said. That surprised me a little bit. “Well, since you know everything about me, then what if we get to know you?” Justin proposed.

“Sure. Shoot.” I said.

“How old are you?”

“Good. Are you from here?”

“No. I’m from Nicaragua, in Central America.”

“I have never visited there…”

“You should! It’s a great place!”

“Sure. I’ll keep it in mind. Then why are you here?”

“I moved. My mom got a better job here.”

“Oh. Well, do you have siblings?”

“no, unfortunately not.”

“oh... ok."

“you came here because you knew I was here?”

“Not at all. You got me by surprise when you grabbed me on the crowd.”

“You where IN the crowd? Chasing me?” His face looked like if I had betrayed him or hurt him.

“No! I was walking by, and the crowd was already running towards me, so I moved out of the way and you grabbed my hand and…you know the rest.”

“Oh.” His face went back to normal. “Well, I’m glad you were there; a normal Belieber, also a pretty one.” Justin said smiling at me.

I smiled stupidly.

“You have a beautiful smile, you know?” Justin said.

I covered my mouth and said, “No, it’s a stupid smile I do when something’s awkward.”

He moved my hand from my mouth and said, “No it isn’t, it is a beautiful smile. And me giving you compliments shouldn’t be something awkward.”

“It is, for me at least. I’m not used to getting compliments all day. I don’t get compliments at all I think.”

“Well, you should.”

I smiled again and I was trying to hide it.

“I finished my ice cream. Do you know what time is it?” I asked Justin.

“It’s 3:30pm. Why? Do you have to go?”

“No, it’s just that maybe I have 30 minutes or an hour for my mom to come and pick me up.”

“No-I mean, I want to get to know you better. Tell your mom that I can go leave you to your house.”

“What?” I was surprised that Justin, Justin Bieber, flawless, wanted to know about me, Karen Brown, a normal, filled with flaws, girl.

“Please.” Justin’s eyes were like puppies eyes, they were almost begging.

“Let’s just wait if my mom wants to pick me up at 4.”

I called my mom and asked her. She said that of course, my FRIEND could go and leave me home.

“Why didn’t you tell her it was me?”

“Justin… there’s people around us.”

“Oh…” Justin said as he looked around. “Then, you go ahead and talk to me about you while we go around walking.”

We both stood up to go and pay and he said he would pay, he didn’t mind at all paying. We went on walking through the entire mall talking about me. He asked, I answered.
