3. Hard Work

I sighed as I listened to Simon giving his speech. He had so much faith it all of us, I just couldn't wrap my mind around all of this.

Once we were finished learning the schedule and speeches were made, we were dismissed to our rooms. I shared my room with 3 other girls, with two bunk beds in the room. Its not that big, but its cozy and a place to stay.

After we settled who got what bed, I decided to hit the hay. I had to sing for the first time in Bootcamp in the morning.

~Next Day~

I huffed at I finished learning the last of the dancing I had to learn. Being the clumsy person I am, some of the move were hard to land, but I've been dancing for 8 years so I used that advantage. Next was the singing part. Everyone gathered onto the stage again, and we each were called up to sing. My name was called and a stepped up to the judges.

"Hey Lexi, so nice to see you again! Can't wait to hear what you've got for us today." Brittany said flashing me a smile.

I smiled back and sang 'I'm Yours' By Jason Mraz and sat back down. I saw Demi point towards me and whisper to Simon, they both smiled. I wasn't sure what to expect.

We were released for the day at around 10pm, and we headed back to our rooms. I stopped by the kitchen on the way, grabbing a snack before I wanted to pass out from my busy day.

I sat in my bed for a while, just thinking. About my first day. How everthing has gone. I thought about Jessi. Sitting in our room, listening to her music. I wondered how she was doing. Then, without thinking about the time difference, I called her.

"Hello?" I heard a groggy voice answer.

"Hey Jessi! Did I wake you?"

"No...you know I'm just up at 3:30 in the morning for no reason." She said sarcastically but I could hear her smiling.

"Well do you want me to call you tommorow?"

"Yea just shoot me a text first to let me know, and I'll be more awake. Talk to ya tomorrow, Lex!"

"Ok, by Jess"

With that I hung up the phone and pulled my fuzzy blanket over my cold body. I slowly drifted to sleep as I wandered what was in store for tomorrow.
