I Say Forever

Leah Martin and best friend, Addie, go to a concert, with an unexpected surprise. What will happen when these 16 year olds fall for teen pop stars? Will it be too hard? Will they give up? Or will it be perfect? Take a look into Leah's love life.

1. Here We Go!

“Addie!! Hurry up! My dad is getting really impatient with us taking so much time!” I yelled up the stairs.

Hi. I’m Leah. I’m 16 years old.  School can be really stressful, but I’m so grateful for music to hold me down.  My best friend Addie and I are going to a Jonas Brothers concert in Birmingham, Alabama, but sshhh!  She doesn’t know yet! She thinks we're going to this giant mall called the Galoria. We live in Huntsville, which is north Alabama.   It takes about 2 hours to get to Birmingham so we really have to hurry.

“Addie?!?! Are you ready yet?” I scream getting really impatient as well.

“I’m coming!” Addie mumbled while running down stairs with her Joe Jonas pillow in her left hand, her Jonas tote purse in her right, a giant purple duffle bag on her left shoulder, and the It's About Time CD, which are all necessities for a sleepover, obviously .  Typical Addie. Addie has a thing for Mr. Joseph, while I'm a sucker for Nick.

I sighed thinking about him.  His voice makes me melt, guys.  I can’t help it.

I stare at Addie with my eyebrows raised. “Really? All of that? Looks like you’re getting the whole back seat.”  I laughed at her struggling to open the door.

“Very funny, Leah,” Addie said, taking the CD's out of her mouth. “Bye dad! I’m leaving now! I’m sleeping over at Leah’s after because I’ll be back late,” Addie yelled to the kitchen.

“Ok sweetie! Have fun and stay safe! Love you!” he yelled back.

“Love you too, dad!”

“See ya, Papa Smurf!” I yelled grinning and closing the door behind me.

I grabbed Addie’s pillow to help her up her steep driveway.

“I’m so excited! This mall is huge!” I squealed jumping up and down.

We hopped in the backseat and threw her stuff in the very back.  The whole car rocked when we did.

“Holy cow! Addie? What all did you bring?” my dad commented.

“Her whole room!” I said sarcastically.

We laughed and my dad drove off.  We put the Jonas Brothers’ first album in, It’s About Time, in the CD player and shook the car, because we danced so much and screamed to the top of our lungs.

“I regret taking you to their concerts sometimes, Leah.” my dad yelled over the music, so that only I could hear him.

“You know you love us, daddy,” I said batting my eyes at him.

He kissed me on the forehead and continued driving.
