7. Chapter 5

You shoot me down, but I wont fall

I am Titanium__

I finished off the song, trailing the last few syllables of the word Titanium. I had my eyes closed for the last part of the song and now slowly opened them again, scared of the reaction the audience would have. The entire hall was in a standing ovation. I was shocked and confused. Was it because I did well or because I completely made a fool out of myself? Oh man, Anna what did you do?! I thought to myself furiously, already preparing myself for the worst. But thats when the first claps came. In a matter of two seconds the crowd was roaring, whistling, and whooping. All the judges were standing up and smiling brightly, clapping. I smiled a wide grin.

Louis silences the audience by speaking up. "Anna, you are a born singer, you did an amazing job on that song, and I would love to hear more from you!"

The other judges nod in agreement. I technically faint inside.

"So, Dannii, Simon, Cheryl? Yes or No?" He continued.

"Great voice, Awesome cover of the song, beautiful, one hundred and one percent yes!" Cheryl spoke up first.

All right, if this is a dream, I have no intension of waking up. Ever.

"I would be crazy to say no to such a talented young lady, wouldn't I?" Dannii said with a smile plastered on her face. "Its a yes from me!"

Two yes's. Two more to go.

"I agree with what Cheryl and Dannii have said about you, its a definite yes from me." Louis said. "Well then Anna. You have three yes's. I'm the last yes you need." Simon spoke to me in a mischievous voice.

Cheryl interrupted then, scolding Simon. "Simon, will you just say yes already, we dont need you're games here!"

Simon just looked at her with one eyebrow raised. "Can you just shush up and let me say what I want? Thank you."

Cheryl just pursed her lips and rolled her eyes. I silently snickered to myself.

"Anna, back to you. Lets make this short. You have got," He looked at me piercingly, and it made me nervous. Really nervous. "You have four, big fat yes's Anna Tiptoli, well done!"

I cant believe it. I made it! Not a single negative comment! I dont think I have ever smiled so widely in my entire life.

"Th-Thank you so much, it means everything to me!" I stuttered.

The judges just smiled at me and Dannii showed me a thumbs-up sign. I walked off stage and got wraped into a huge group hug right away from Sophia, Samira and the dude that interviewed me earlier on.

"Anna! you were amazing! I am so happy for you!" The dude, who's name I forgot said.

"Well, thank her, she signed me up here!" I said, pointing at Sophia. "I knew you would be great, so I guess I made a good decision after all!" She beamed, turning slightly red.

"You sure did!" He reassured her. Samira hugged her sideways and smiled at her.

"She makes really good decisions usually, when she decides to make one" She said.

I just laughed, and smiled at the two best people in my life. Sophia Williams and Samira Edwards.
