Love Everlasting

It's the summer of '09 (hehe;) and Tirzah Adele just switched churches with her family. Tirzah Adele has a passion for dance and attends Juilliard's Y.P.P.A.S (Young Prestige Preforming Arts School) during the school year. The church they attend is a Baptist Church that is breaking ground (building) right now. One day, while helping the church with construction, Tirzah meets Ethan. A local boy that attends the same high school as her. He is funny, charming, cute, and loves everything she does. She can be herself around him and his family. They start a summer love, but will a different force pull them apart.

7. 'Starting school'

Ethan's P.O.V

It's been a couple weeks since Tirz and I have started dating. After the kiss on the boat, I asked her out and thankfully she said 'yes'.

Today is our first day of school and it is 7:00. I hate waking up this early, but at least I get to see Tirzah this morning.

We worked it out to where her parents said it was okay for me to pick her up every morning at 7:50.

Tirzah and I went shopping yesterday for school clothes and today I am wearing a shirt that we both really liked from American Eagle. It's a burgendy short-sleeve with the AE logo in white on it. And I put it with cargo shorts.

I checked my wall clock and it is now 7:45 since I have gotten ready. I storm downstairs and make my lunch and some toast.

"Goodbye honey. Tell Tirzah I said 'have an amazing first day today'." my mom yells down the stairs. "Okay, I will! Love you, bye!" I yell upstairs.

I get to Tirzah's house and knock on the door. Her dad opens the door, "Oh, hey son. Come on in! Tirzah will be right down." her dad says. "Who is at the door?" Tirzah's mom says, coming out into the foyer.

"Oh hi Ethan. Would you like anything to eat or drink? Breakfast? I have eggs, bacon, and some toast?" her mom suggests.

"Thank you Mrs. Lydia. I already had toast at home though." I thank her. Tirzah runs down the stairs, smiles and grabs her backpack.

"Hey, Ethan." she says and hugs me sideways, while still looking at her parents. "Okay, stay safe honey. Drive the speed limit and have a good day. Keep her safe, Ethan. I know you will." Mrs. Lydia says.

"No worries Mrs. Lydia. She is perfectely safe with me." I smile. "Love you guys. Bye!" Tirz says goodbye and hugs her parents.

We compare schedules together in the car. We have A4 Gym, A2 Math, B3 Science, B4 language, and Flex together.

We get to school and I lead her to the office first to fill out new papers. "Are you her brother, Ethan. Or step-brother???" the secretary askes, sweetly. Tirzah smiles, trying to hold her laughter while filling the papers out.

"No, Mrs. Gracewood. She is my girlfriend." I reply, happily. "Oh, I am SO sorry. Haha, welcome to Lee-Davis, Tirzah! Have a great 1st day here!" she waves goodbye to us as we head over to the huge cafe.

We get to the table I usually sit at. "Okay guys, this is Tirzah-my girlfriend. Tirz- you have already met Ashton, Kelly, and Matthew from church. This right here is T-wood , he is a sick dancer and knows everything to it! You two are in dance intensives here at L-D! Then, this is Aliza-she is shy but very sweet. And last but not least, this is Jack- Football, Baseball, you name it-he knows it!"

After introducing everyone, Tirzah and I sit down. I look out across the cafe and Jenna Barker, my catty ex-girlfriend who forced me to date her, is coming towards us. "Oh great." I whisper and turn back around.

"What's wrong?" Tirzah askes. Should I tell her about Jenna? I am worried Tirz won't understand and think I am just one of those guys that plays every girl. "Nothing." I push it off.
