I Finally Found You (Completed)

Today, my name is Olivia Moore. But, it used to be Erin Parker. I had grown up with a normal life in Holmes Chapel, England. I had two of the best parents a child could have. Though I didn’t have any siblings, I had a best friend, Harry.

But, that all changed two years ago. Why? Because I died...or at least that’s what everyone thought. They all thought that I was in a car explosion when I was 16, when someone had planted a car bomb. My friends, family, and anyone I had ever known lost me.

But in reality, none of that happened. Yes, I lost the people around me, but that was because I went into hiding. Three days before I “died,” I saw something that I shouldn't have, so my life was in danger. I didn't really have very much time to say goodbye to everyone I loved. The fact that they didn't know what really happened kills me, they all think I’m dead, that I’m never going to come back. Until now.

59. Chapter 58

Flashback --> July 2nd, 2009

"I swear to god, Harry Styles, if you don't put me down right now, I am going to get royally pissed," I grumbled, pounding on his back as he carried me over to the lake.

You already are pissed, so I really have nothing to lose, do I?"

"Harry!" I shouted. His already wet hair brushed against my dry, normal clothed body.

"Let's go swimming, shall we?" I could just see the smirk on his face as we got closer and closer to the water. Just a minute ago, I was happily reading inside the house. I will admit that it was no way to spend a July afternoon, but the story was getting really good.

"I'm not even in my suit! At least let me go change!"

"You had plenty of time to go do that a couple hours ago, didn't you? I think so." He continued to carry me over his shoulder. Just because our families and some friends were spending a week at the lake, didn't mean that I had to swim every moment possible; at least that's how I saw it in my eyes. But Harry of course thought differently.

"Yeah Styles! Throw her in!" his friend Nick yelled. He was already in the water with his other friend, Luke.

Harry laughed and walked straight into the water. My feet were starting to get wet, the cool water rising up, "I give up," I mumbled to myself.

When we reached to the level where it was about waist deep for him, he moved me so he held me bridal style, "Ready?" he asked.

"Alright, three!" he started.

"Here we go," I grumbled.

"I'm going to die."

"Wait! Don't I get any last words?"

He paused, "Don't be ridiculous!" He dropped me down into the lake water, of course after he allowed me to plug my nose.

I came up with soaked clothes, "Gold. Star. For. You. Harold." Everyone laughed, even me once the laughter became contagious, "I am seriously so done with you." I gave him a shove, making him to fall over, but only because he tripped over a rock or something.

He came up, squirting water, grabbing me right away to dunk me under with his hands.

Present Time

That memory went through my mind as I waited for the dog to come back. It was one of my favorites, the last summer I had in England. It had been fantastic. I had actually become friends with some of Harry's friends, surprisingly.

"Jackson!" I shouted through the hills, waiting for him to show up with the ball I had thrown for him a while ago. I looked to my right to see him trotting over with ball in mouth over to my blanket, "Sit," I commanded. When he did, I threw the ball for him again.

I laid on my back, looking up at the clouds pass by. One looked like an alligator, I swore of it. Then again, I thought another looked like a cat eating ice cream, so maybe I was crazy when I tried to decipher the clouds.

I heard two beeps coming from the walkie-talkie that I always carried around with me, taking me out of my daze, "Delilah?" a voice asked through it.

I reached over to my back pack to take it out. Pressing on the voice button, "Yeah Chris?"

"I need you to come down here as soon as possible, we have a situation."

I groaned, knowing that it had to be bad, "Kay, I'll be right down." After gathering my things and seeing Jackson come back, we started down the tall hill.

What could be wrong? Did someone find something out? Would I have to move once again? Though I would like to live somewhere with more...people, I didn't want to pick up my entire life again to go somewhere completely foreign to me.

Where would I go this time? Mountains in China? A hidden village in Greenland? It had to be remote, no doubt about it, especially if I was found already within just a couple of months.

I could just see Chris's distressed face right now. I would sometimes forget how this affected him as well. I didn't know if he had any family back in England, but I knew that he had to be missing home.

I pulled my sunglasses to the top of my head as we approached the flat, "Chris?" I asked when I walked through the door.

"In here," he called.

I came to find him in his room, packing. My assumptions were correct. We were leaving, "What happened?” I asked

"Go pack, we're leaving."

He glanced up to me, then slowly went back to his clothes, packing as quickly as possible, "London."

"London? Isn't that like the worst possible place for me?"

"What? You want to go straight home instead? I figured that you wanted to see your boyfriend first, but okay!"

Everything fit together then for me. London meant home. Chris wasn't stupid, of course we would only be going there if...the killer had been found.

He had been arrested!

I went up to Chris and hugged him, "How long has he been in custody?" I asked.

He smiled, "A little over two weeks."

"Thank you."

"For what?"

"For taking care of me all this time," I explained, "I would probably be dead if I didn't have you."

"Just go pack! I want to get out of here."

I drove my Audi through the streets of London, trying my best to get back home, despite the traffic. Horns were going off around me, blaring loudly. But lucky for me, I could see my turn up ahead. But the bad news was that I was moving at a snail's pace.

I waved out the window to a fan that had noticed me, her snapping a photo with her phone, "Hi!" I said through my half opened window. She screamed and waved back to me. But she got pulled back into her car when her window shut on her, probably because her mum was telling her not to talk to strangers or something.

I closed my own window and went into deep thought, trying to tune out the constant horns.

It had been over two weeks. I thought Erin would be back by now. What was the hold up? It had been confirmed that James was the guy, so why had I not seen or heard from her yet? I couldn't wait to see her though, her sparkling turquoise eyes, light freckles, chestnut, wavy hair.

I turned off to my street, finding where I could park when I arrived at my flat. I stepped out of the Audi into the parking garage, grabbing my bag from rehearsals for the MTV Video Music Awards. The lads and I were going to perform for it!

I dug my key out of my pocket after I had taken the lift up to my floor. I shoved it into the door knob, twisting it open. My flat was very large and spacious, windows and lofts everywhere with white walls and modern furniture.

I stepped inside the place, ready to set my bag down and go make myself some food. But something was off. The wall that was directly in front of where I had walked in, I always had Erin's locket hanging on it, so I would notice it every day.

It was gone.

Which meant maybe...

I shut the door, racing around the corner to find Erin sitting on one of my couches, wearing the silver jewelry, "Erin!" I breathed, running over to her to wrap her in my arms. I spun her around in circles, lifting her feet off the ground, "Oh god I missed you so much," I exhaled, realizing I had been holding my breath. I set her down to give her a soft kiss. It was simple but perfect enough to make up for the months without her, constantly worrying.

She looked up to smile at me, but gasped when she saw my neck, "Oh my god Harry, what happened?" She reached up to examine it, tracing her finger over the pink line.

I took her hands into mine, pulling them down, "It's nothing love, don't worry." I held her face in both of my hands, "I just can't believe you're here."

"Did they- did they really find the guy?" she asked, sounding like she was holding back a sob.

I smiled, "He's gone Ehr Bear. You're home."
