I Finally Found You (Completed)

Today, my name is Olivia Moore. But, it used to be Erin Parker. I had grown up with a normal life in Holmes Chapel, England. I had two of the best parents a child could have. Though I didn’t have any siblings, I had a best friend, Harry.

But, that all changed two years ago. Why? Because I died...or at least that’s what everyone thought. They all thought that I was in a car explosion when I was 16, when someone had planted a car bomb. My friends, family, and anyone I had ever known lost me.

But in reality, none of that happened. Yes, I lost the people around me, but that was because I went into hiding. Three days before I “died,” I saw something that I shouldn't have, so my life was in danger. I didn't really have very much time to say goodbye to everyone I loved. The fact that they didn't know what really happened kills me, they all think I’m dead, that I’m never going to come back. Until now.

50. Chapter 49

He held me in his arms as we laid in the Caribbean sand, kissing me on the head, "He's gone now Erin. You're free," he said.

I tilted my head up to smile to him, happy that I could actually go home, "Forever?" I asked, looking into his eyes. They were green, just like they normally were, taking on a hue that was almost too good to be true. But that was just it. There was something about them right now that didn't seem the same. I couldn't put my finger on it, but they just were somehow...different...

I ignored the difference as he spoke in his sweet but husky voice, "Forever."

He tilted my head up with his hand, causing electricity to go through my body. He leaned down and started to kiss me earnestly. The contrast of his lips and his eyes startled me, because his eyes didn't seem true but his lips did. My lips tingled in response, feeling the kiss, and then-

My eyes fluttered open, realizing that everything was real. The kiss, the electricity of Harry's touch. It was all there. He was kissing me now as I laid in bed, awoken from my dream.

I kissed him back, not even wondering what he was doing in New York when he was supposed to be in Australia. But when we broke the kiss, we leaned our foreheads against each other.

"What are you doing here? I don't understand. How-" I started before he started kissing me again.

"God I missed doing that," he breathed when we stopped.

"Harry..." I continued, but I was cut off again by his lips.

"Shh..." he said smiling as he flipped himself on top of me on the bed.

I gave up on trying to figure out what was going on or how he was even able to get away from his job. Our kisses became frantic, trying to feel what it was like to be next to each other again for the first time in weeks. His tongue entered my mouth, but he soon left, just to move down to my jaw and neck instead, nibbling and leaving sloppy kisses.

But it all stopped there, after he left a couple more soft touches of the lips. He grinned at me, "I missed you so much."

Sitting up, after he moved off me, I questioned, "But how are you here? I thought..."

"We had five days off, Erin. I convinced Paul to let me come."

"So when do you leave?" I asked, afraid of how little time we were going to have together.

"Thursday morning. But that leaves today, tomorrow, and Wednesday to be with each other."

I didn't even think before I spoke again, "Can you stay here? I just want to be with you as long as possible."

His smile became even wider, "I'll stay where ever you want me to."

When I had arrived in New York this morning, there weren't very many fans waiting for me, which was a first in a very long time. It made sense, because this entire trip was pretty much a secret.

And when I gotten to Erin's flat and found that she was still sleeping, I laid the flowers I had bought on her desk and went up to her. Kneeling down next to the bed, I saw how peaceful she was sleeping. Whatever she was dreaming about, I knew it was good, based on her relaxed face and the faint smile that traced her lips.

Noticing that she wore the locket I gave her, I felt a warm sensation inside. That locket represented so much for me.

I tilted her chin up with my fingers, towards me. I gave her a light kiss, only to wake her. And when she did, he eyes slowly blinked open, followed by a double-take of what was in front of her and what she was doing at the moment.

But she kissed me back, making me happy. It was so good to see her and to feel her touch again. I had missed her dearly.

She tried to ask me how I was even there, but I didn't let her speak. I interrupted her by crashing my lips into hers. After more kissing and some small love bites, I finally explained how I was there.

The only bad thing that came up in our entire conversation was that I couldn't stay long because I had to get back to the Australian tour. We didn't bring up Emma, and I could tell both of us just wanted to forget the whole thing ever even happened.

We relaxed in Erin's bed for what seemed like just ten minutes, but it actually turned out to be over an hour. I drew designs into her arms as we cuddled, taking in the moment that we were together.

"You are so lucky that I didn't have class today," she said.

I had her wrapped in my arms as she leaned against my chest. I kissed the top of her head before the front door busted open.

Mia, flushed, red cheeked and pony-tailed, stood in the entryway, searching. When her eyes landed on Erin and I, she smiled, making her way over to the two of us.

"Mia, did you forget to tell me about a marathon you were planning on running or...?" Erin joked.

Mia ignored her comment, rambling off a bunch of confused questions to me, "What are you doing here? Or when did you get here? Or how long are you staying? Or...I don't know. Just answer!" she demanded, still smiling, a tad out of breath.

"I came to see my girlfriend, around elevenish, and Thursday morning," I said, answering in order.

"Oh. Well a girl came up to me after class and showed me pictures of you in the airport, so I came straight home to see if Olivia knew," she breathed.

"We can see that. You going to be alright?" Erin asked.

"I need water," she said, mostly to herself, "Yeah, I need something to drink." She slowly made her way over to the kitchen.

"Were there very many people at the airport?" Erin asked me.

"There actually weren't," I said, "I don't even know how they knew I was going to be there to be honest."

"Would you just look at that," Mia called from the kitchen, still breathing heavily, "Hash tag: 'Harry is a runaway' is trending on Twitter!"

"Seems legit," Erin said, nudging me.

"Oh! And 'New York' is trending as well. I bet you can guess why!" Mia continued.

"Wow, impressive," I said.

The rest of the night went relatively normal. Mia ended up leaving to go over to Laurel and Kylie's flat while Erin and I did some of the most random things. From 'Truth or Dare' to who-could-hold-their-breath-the-longest. We were just trying to have fun, doing simple things. I think it was mostly because we didn't want to be reminded of the little time that we were going to have together.

I tweeted out at one point:

@Harry_Styles: you learn alot about yourself when you play truth/dare

Of course, I got a lot of replies, asking what I was doing in New York, who I was playing with, and on why I left. I answered one:

@LouBear_Girl2: Why did my baby @Harry_Styles leave me?!! akdhfiuhdspaskj!!!

@Harry_Styles: @LouBear_Girl2 wdhapdosifdsfbcqi!! I was just missing some people :)

I also talked to Niall and Louis before Erin and I went to bed. So far, everything was completely normal in Australia, but they said there had been articles about me leaving practically everywhere, claiming that I had "quit." We laughed that off, but then they mentioned how people speculated that I was with the "mystery girl" again.

After Niall yelled through the phone to Erin that he wanted a rematch at all of the video games they had played before, we said goodnight and quickly fell asleep. Well, Erin did because I was suffering from jet lag.

I stayed up for an extra hour or two, thinking about how glad I was that I made the decision to come. But I was dreading Thursday morning, when I would have to leave again. Last time, we were both messes. And now, I can't imagine what it will be like when I leave, because we had just reunited.

The car was rented, a black Range Rover, just like I had asked it to be. I wanted to be familiar with the inside, because I had the same one at home, except the driver's seat was on the opposite side. The windows were also tinted, so I could pick Erin up from class. I wanted to take her out of the city for the rest of the day and possibly over night.

It was early, around ten AM. Erin had left earlier for a Uni class. She knew that I would be picking her up afterwards in the rented car that I had just picked up from the rental service. Of course, I didn't go unnoticed by paps, who were hot on my trail, trying to figure out what I was doing in this city.

Stopping at Starbucks on the way, I bought Erin and me some coffee. Actually, I got her french vanilla cappuccino.

I pulled up in front of the large stone building where her class was at and waited in the parking lot. I parked as close as possible, and I made sure that there wasn't anyone around to see us drive away.

We drove to Middletown, a much smaller town than New York with not even 30,000 people living in it. It was perfect, we knew we wouldn't be hunted down by paps. Because seriously, why would there be any here?

We sang loudly to songs part of the way, not even trying to sound good, or even decent for that matter.

But because of the bad traffic, we arrived around lunch time, so I guess it was good timing. We went to a very cool restaurant called "Mix N Mac" where they literally served macaroni and cheese as their specialty. I clutched onto Erin's hand as we walked inside. The best part was that school was going on, so there weren't any fans to bother us and ask for pictures.

Our waitress was a nice, older lady named Donnie. With her black, short, curly hair, she was very happy to serve us. I didn't think she recognized me, she didn't show any signs of it. She was funny though, constantly giving Erin and me a hard time about our English accents.

Once we had finished eating and I paid for our meal, we stepped outside into the nice, April weather. Erin was walking next to me when I pulled her in for a kiss. I was so happy we were able to go out and do something normal without being caught, and a public kiss made it all better.

"I love you," I said, pecking her nose. She giggled and I think I got her to blush.

We heard whispers as we approached the car. Erin and I exchanged glances. As I was about to climb in, the worst possible thing happened. Paparazzi came from behind the rover, cameras flashing everywhere. There weren't very many, maybe five or six, but it seemed like a lot.

Erin shrieked when two men came up behind her and started to shoot questions.

"What's your name?"

"How long have you and Harry been dating?"

"Why have you been keeping everything a secret?"

"How did you respond to him and Emma Ostilly?"

Erin was frozen, half way between getting in the car and standing outside. I could tell she didn't know what to do. Her pale, worried face mirrored mine.
