I Finally Found You (Completed)

Today, my name is Olivia Moore. But, it used to be Erin Parker. I had grown up with a normal life in Holmes Chapel, England. I had two of the best parents a child could have. Though I didn’t have any siblings, I had a best friend, Harry.

But, that all changed two years ago. Why? Because I died...or at least that’s what everyone thought. They all thought that I was in a car explosion when I was 16, when someone had planted a car bomb. My friends, family, and anyone I had ever known lost me.

But in reality, none of that happened. Yes, I lost the people around me, but that was because I went into hiding. Three days before I “died,” I saw something that I shouldn't have, so my life was in danger. I didn't really have very much time to say goodbye to everyone I loved. The fact that they didn't know what really happened kills me, they all think I’m dead, that I’m never going to come back. Until now.

40. Chapter 39

It was hard to believe that during this time, three years ago, I was being a total arse to Erin. I was too big headed at the time, having a new girl every week. I was hurting inside, secretly, having a crush on Erin before any of it happened. But when I told myself that it would be a bad idea to date my best friend, my other friends had convinced me it was a good idea to be with other girls constantly. How stupid I was!

Thank god Isabella called me the morning of her sixteenth birthday. She was in London, having been moved away over a month ago. She basically told me that I needed to stop being a douche, talk to Erin, and say I was sorry for everything I had done.

I had only talked to Isabella whenever she was with Erin, because she was more Erin's friend, not mine. So it was really strange to get a call from her. But I had been massively grateful ever since. Now that I think about it, where would Erin and I be if Isabella never called me? I would definitely not be here, celebrating her birthday with her. And if I had run into her, like I did weeks ago, she wouldn’t have ever slipped me the note. She would've still hated my guts at that point.

I stroked her arm with my hand, making small designs as we cuddled on the couch. Zayn was singing a slower song at the moment, but I wasn't sure of what it was.

"Zayn sings professionally?" Erin joked as she referred to Zayn's awful, fake, low notes.

"No, I sing all of his parts secretly," I said, sending her a wink.

Zayn turned around to glare at us, "I heard that!"

Erin gave a cute giggle, sending him a thumbs up. After the song ended, I realized that they had been playing for over two hours. Niall did too when he announced how late it had gotten.

"Yeah we should head out to leave you two...alone," Louis said, wiggling his eyebrows. I rolled my eyes at him and squeezed Erin's hand.

"We have to give her the birthday present we got her first," Liam said, putting his guitar down.

"Oh, you guys didn't have to get me anything. I already had a fantastic time with you. Plus, you brought me a chocolate cake," Erin said.

The boys shook their heads in response and walked over to stand next to the couch, "We know, but this is necessary," Liam insisted.

"Now, before we give you your present, we want to explain it," Niall started.

I squeezed her side before they went on, explaining, "We are very confident that you will be able to be you again," Zayn explained shortly, "So we wanted to give you these." He pulled out the plane tickets they had bought last week out of his pocket.

"Obviously, these are plane tickets for you and Harry," Louis said, "We want to send you to the Caribbean so you can actually get out of this bloody flat and do something together for once.” He handed her the two papers with our names on them for the flight.

Erin looked them over for a couple of seconds but handed them back, "Thanks, really, but I can't take these."

Zayn pushed them back at her, "Yes you can. You can use them at any time. And it's the least we can do."

"And it's not like money is an issue to us, I mean come on!" Niall laughed, "Just take them and have fun with Harry."

I took them from Zayn, "It would be a lot of fun Ehr Bear. Please come with me. We can go swimming with the dolphins..." I said, trying to coax her. I wanted to be able to take her somewhere so she could just get away. After thinking about it, she hasn't been out of New York City in years. New York was nice and all, but I knew how she loved to travel. I knew that she wasn't accepting because of how big of a present it was.

"Okay." She took the tickets from my hands and smiled at the lads, "Thanks, I can't wait."

Erin and I walked everyone over to the door with her giving them all massive hugs. Essentially, this would be the last time they were going to see one another for a very long time. In the end, they all huddled around her and gave a group hug, "Erin! We'll miss you soooo much!" Liam laughed.

"I'll miss you too!" She responded.

"Yeah, and don't leave Harry again. He'd probably die or something," Louis said in a joking manner.

Erin made a smug smile, "Oh, I know he would."

We all laughed as I opened the door. But before everyone left, Louis whispered to me, "Make sure you put it on her and be a gentleman."

I waved him off, "I know, I know. I'll see you tomorrow."

I closed the door and turned to Erin, giving her a mischievous smile.

"What?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

I didn't say anything. I scooped her up bridal style, causing her to gasp, as I carried her back over to the couch. I laid her down and hovered over her, kissing her mouth.

The kiss immediately turned passionate and hot, our lips moving with each other as her fingers moved into my curls. Our legs became tangled, with me starting to kiss her jawline, finding her sweet spot beneath her ear. I found myself playing with the bottom of her shirt, eventually bringing my hand higher and higher until-

Erin took her hand and stopped mine, "Let's not do too much Harry," she breathed.

I respected her wishes, pecking her on the lips before I moved off of her.

"Harry," she said. She grabbed the back of my neck and gave me a small, tender kiss, "I'm sorry."

I shook my head at her and furrowed my eyebrows, "What are you talking about? Don't be sorry."

She bit her lip like she was unsure, "Really?"

"Yes, don't worry about it," I gave her a genuine smile. I didn't want her to feel uncomfortable.
