I Finally Found You (Completed)

Today, my name is Olivia Moore. But, it used to be Erin Parker. I had grown up with a normal life in Holmes Chapel, England. I had two of the best parents a child could have. Though I didn’t have any siblings, I had a best friend, Harry.

But, that all changed two years ago. Why? Because I died...or at least that’s what everyone thought. They all thought that I was in a car explosion when I was 16, when someone had planted a car bomb. My friends, family, and anyone I had ever known lost me.

But in reality, none of that happened. Yes, I lost the people around me, but that was because I went into hiding. Three days before I “died,” I saw something that I shouldn't have, so my life was in danger. I didn't really have very much time to say goodbye to everyone I loved. The fact that they didn't know what really happened kills me, they all think I’m dead, that I’m never going to come back. Until now.

21. Chapter 20

"Jonathan!" I greeted the agent after I had opened my door. He was here to do his monthly checkup on me.

"Hello Olivia, good to see you." Jonathan called me Olivia so "I would keep in character" better than if I were to be called Erin. He said it would make me feel like my real name was Olivia, not Erin. And honestly, it did. I had almost believed that my name was Olivia until I started being with Harry again. He gave me a quick hug after he walked into my flat. I was actually glad to see him. "How have things been going?" He took off his coat and hung it up on the rack.

"Good, classes are going really well, Mia and I are getting along fantastically, and yeah," I told him as we wandered over to the couches, "Do you want something to drink or anything?"

"No, no, I'm good. But how are things really going?" Jonathan was almost like my therapist in some sense. He was really the only one I could vent and tell everything to besides Harry. But over the years, I have been seeing him almost like a second dad.

We sat down and I used the already unfolded duvet to cover myself, "Just tell me what's going on please, what aren't you telling me Jon?"

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"Usually, the second you walk in, you tell me exactly what's happening. You didn't this time, why?"

He thought about what I said and chewed on the side of his lip. He sighed and finally said, "Do you want the good news or the bad news?"

"Good first, please." This wasn't sounding good at all.

"Well I can confirm that the killer has no idea where you are at, so you can still stay in New York. I've got to say though, this is the longest I have ever stayed in one city. Usually, I have to move around at least once a year with the people who I've been assigned to. I guess it's because you have done such a good job at not contacting anyone and not telling anyone anything,” he said. Uh huh, if only you knew.

"Oh, thanks," I said I little awkwardly because I knew the truth about what was really happening. Jonathan was starting to worry me and I was also worried that he would find out about Harry and his band, "So the bad news..." I said, coaxing him to continue.

"Yes, well, the bad news is-" He paused, sighing, “-is that we also have no idea where the criminal is either." He gave me sorry eyes.

"What? I thought you and the agency had a tracker on him or something like that." My hopes of maybe going home soon had fallen. The words that he had said meant that I would be staying where I was, not being able to go home to my family.

"We had a location and agents monitoring him, and after some investigation, we found that he was the wrong man. I'm sorry Olivia."

I shook my head, "No, it's not your fault. It's just that we were getting closer to me being able to finally go home." I was getting a little tearful, because my hopes had been up ever since I talked to him last.

"We’ll find him, don't worry."

"Yeah, I know. I just miss my home and everything I guess," I said, shrugging.

"What do you mean you didn't kiss her?" I questioned Harry incredulously.

He avoided our gazes by looking at random areas around Liam's room, "She- she didn't...want to..." He looked down and fiddled with the bottom of his shirt.

"Remember that pep talk we gave you earlier? Yeah, well that was mean to help you with the confidence that, for some reason, you needed. What happened?" Niall asked.

For the first time since he had walked into the room, Harry looked at us. "I tried to...seduce her."

Liam then, literally smacked his hand to his forehead. Harry was being an idiot, quite frankly. He actually seemed to have no idea what he was doing, which was odd. Harry was known as being good with girls, and he was, so I expected him to have some understanding. But of course, he actually had none.

"Harry, you don't seduce her, you charm her. You weren't trying to have damn sex with her; you were only trying to kiss her," I said with a little annoyance in my voice.

Harry huffed and shook his head, "I know, but then she freaked out, and straight out told me that I was friend zoned, and made it sound like that was the farthest we would ever go, and yeah..."

"Good lord Haz," Liam said, rubbing his temples. Well, it seemed that I wasn't the only one that thought Harry was being stupid.

"I honestly don't know what to tell you mate," Niall added with a shrug of his shoulders.

"I know. I just don't really know how to act around Erin, I guess."

"Ah! So you've just been nervous?" Zayn pondered. It could be true, I was always nervous around Eleanor when we first started being around each other. It was such a strange feeling for me because of how confident I usually am. Harry nodded his head up and down in response to Zayn.

"The key is to just be you. Simple as that." I said to him, "You should know this Harry, you have had a girlfriend before, remember?"

"Yes Lou, of course I remember." We could tell Harry was getting frustrated with us, so we decided to stop giving him a hard time on everything.

"So, we'll help you with her, because you obviously fancy her a lot. Plus, she seems cool," I said, walking over and patting Harry on the shoulder.

He looked up excitedly, "Really? You'll help?"

"Of course, is that even a question?" Niall added.

"Yeah, it's not like you haven't helped us before," Liam said.
