I Finally Found You (Completed)

Today, my name is Olivia Moore. But, it used to be Erin Parker. I had grown up with a normal life in Holmes Chapel, England. I had two of the best parents a child could have. Though I didn’t have any siblings, I had a best friend, Harry.

But, that all changed two years ago. Why? Because I died...or at least that’s what everyone thought. They all thought that I was in a car explosion when I was 16, when someone had planted a car bomb. My friends, family, and anyone I had ever known lost me.

But in reality, none of that happened. Yes, I lost the people around me, but that was because I went into hiding. Three days before I “died,” I saw something that I shouldn't have, so my life was in danger. I didn't really have very much time to say goodbye to everyone I loved. The fact that they didn't know what really happened kills me, they all think I’m dead, that I’m never going to come back. Until now.

18. Chapter 17

Who's Olivia? Who’s Olivia? Did Harry ever shut up? Did he just sit here and tell Louis everything after he told me he hadn't said a word? This was unbelievable.

Louis must've seen how furious I was because he spoke up, interrupting my thoughts, "I mean, I heard your friend call someone Olivia."

"Oh." Louis must’ve been able to tell how touchy the subject was for me, because he dropped it completely. I glared at Harry, "You have 60 seconds. Go."

"Erin, hear me out," Harry pleaded, "I didn't tell anyone anything. I wouldn't do that to you. Tell her Louis."

I turned to Louis, noticing that he had taken the strings on his jumper and tied them into a bow, "Yeah it's true. To me, Harry was being suspicious because he wasn't telling me or the lads anything. He would sneak off by himself and disappear for the rest day. So I decided follow him here last week, and yeah."

I looked to Harry for conformation. He was nodding his head. The story seemed plausible. I mean, it would make sense that Louis would try to see what Harry had been after he had been keeping secrets.

"You promise?" I asked Louis.

"Yes, every word," he confirmed.

I felt bad. I had been absolutely wrong about everything. Though I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to have Harry in my life, I had to forgive him.

I went over and sat down next to him on my bed."I'm sorry. I should've listened to you."

He put his arm around me and kissed my temple, "It's alright Erin, it was something that could be easily messed up. I'm just glad that we're talking again."

"Well then, now that my work here is done, I'm going to let you two lovebirds be alone." Louis commented as he got up from the rolling chair.

"We're not dating or anything, we're just friends." I informed him, though Harry never attempted to move his arm away.

"Uh huh. Well you should think about that,” Louis responded with a grin on his face, “Goodbye Erin, lovely meeting you."

I then decided something that I really shouldn't have, but maybe it was for the best. "Louis, wait."

He stopped before he could get through the door of my room, turning around. I wanted to tell him my story. It was hard on Harry for having to sneak around without telling his band members. They would ask questions and he wouldn't be able to answer them. He would constantly have to choose between me and them, and I didn't want that. And right now, I felt like I owed him after I hadn't trusted him.

"You have questions about me?" I asked him.

He chuckled, "Yeah? I'm pretty sure everyone does."

I moved my hair away from my face out of nervousness, "I want to answer them for you, because I really want you to understand, so you don't have to constantly question Harry when he can't actually tell you."

Harry looked at me, puzzled, "Erin, no, it's fine."

"No,” I turned to Louis, "I want to tell you my story."

I could feel Harry stiffen against me every time I mentioned talking about my past. Looking into his green eyes, I tried to convince him, "Do you think I should tell the rest of your band too?" I asked.

He shook his head, "I don't think you should tell anyone, not even-"

I cut him off, "Harry..."

He sighed, pursing his lips, "Yeah, I think you could tell them. I trust them."

Louis looked confused as ever. So before he could ask me anything, I asked him something first, "Do you think you could call up Liam, Zayn, and Niall? I want to explain to them as well."

"Yeah sure,” he said, getting up to leave the room so he could use his phone.

"You're breaking your rules, you know, times five." Harry told me.

"I know, but it's for the best, I guess." I shrugged. This needed to happen. I hadn't met any of the other guys before, except for Zayn, but I still wanted to tell them myself. And if Harry felt like they were brothers and trusted all of them, I was going to trust them.

We went out into the living room after Louis was done. Everyone had agreed to come, mostly out of curiosity. And it wasn't long until there was a knock on the door.

Louis used his socks to slide over to let them in.

"So you're Erin!" Niall said the moment he saw me. He came over to hug me, even though this was my first time ever meeting him. But he made me feel like I had already known him forever, giving me a genuine smile.

"Yeah it's about time that we met Harry's girlfriend." Liam added, coming over to give me a bear hug.

"Umm...we're not dating," I said, giving out a small, awkward, laugh to shrug off the comment.

Liam scrunched his eyebrows together, "Oh, well, that's unfortunate."

Zayn then walked over to greet me with a hug too, "Hey Erin, you still look gorgeous, even in pajamas,” he said with a wink.

"Oh, thanks." I think I was blushing, mostly because of the shorts that I was wearing. I sat back down next to Harry and whispered so only he could hear me, "Why do they think that we're dating?"

He only shrugged his shoulders, not really answering.

After everyone else sat down on the chairs and couches, Louis said, "So go on, explain."

I told them almost the same thing that I told Harry, except not as in depth so I wouldn't start crying. I only really told them the basics.

I was hiding from a murderer that wanted to kill me because I had witnessed a murder that he had committed. I had gone to the police and was informed that I needed to disappear from the world. I told them about my new identity and the rules I had to follow. Harry smirked and gave out a quiet chuckle when I brought up the rule about contacting people in my past life. I finally informed them about how no one knew and how no one was supposed to know except for them.

"Do you promise that you won't tell anyone?" I asked when I was finished.

They gave me a few yes's and yeah's, "Now I know who Olivia is. I was so confused when your roommate referred to Olivia this morning," Louis said.

"Yeah, and now I know why you hate pictures and why you wanted Louis to delete the one he took of you so badly," Zayn added.

Louis smirked and started laughing "Yeah, except I never did."

"You kept that picture of me?" I couldn't believe he did that. I wasn't mad, but I couldn't believe he did that.

“You were being suspicious, love, so I had to!”

Liam rolled his eyes, “Don’t take it personally. Sometimes, he runs away from the body guards because he claims that they could actually be evil secret agents.”

We joked around with each other for a good amount of time until Liam, Niall, Louis, and Zayn decided that it was time to leave. They all hugged Erin goodbye before she left to go change into some “normal” clothes.

Louis pulled me aside before they left, "Why the hell is Erin not your girlfriend? She's fit!"

I felt a little embarrassed to tell him what happened, because it had never really happened to me before, as cocky as that sounded, "Well, she rejected me when I, uhh, tried to kiss her."

"So you did already go for it. Wait a sec, you got rejected?" He started laughing, "That's funny."

Liam came over to us while he was holding his phone, texting someone, "What's funny?"

For some reason, this seemed to be one of the most hilarious things that Louis had ever heard, or he was just really tired, who knows, "Harry got rejected when he tried to kiss Erin."

Liam’s head snapped up with a huge grin on his face. Soon, everyone, except for me, was laughing. And this did include Niall and Zayn, because they almost had tears coming from their eyes.

"It's not funny guys. I like her, a lot."

"Then I guess you’re going to have to show her that she likes you too,” Liam stated, as if it was fact.

"How?" I asked. Seriously, how was I going to convince my childhood best friend that she actually had feelings for me? She was a stubborn person, so it would be extremely hard.

Zayn butted in, "Woo her, I guess."

"Woo her?"

"Yeah, Zayn's right. Just do that and you're all set," Louis said cooly.

"But you make it sound so easy." I said.

I doubted them. They made it sound like second nature, to make a girl like Erin like me. Though it was kind of second nature to convince other girls to like me, I had known Erin since I was three.

"Well, I can't say Eleanor was very easy. I don't know, take her somewhere and surprise her," Louis suggested.

"She can't be seen with me, it would risk pictures, remember?"

"Oh that's right,” Louis responded. I could tell he was stumped by the way he was frowning. And I didn’t blame him, because I was stumped too.

"Well, good luck Harry. We need to go," Niall said. He was practically pulling everyone out the door.

Liam turned around before the door closed, "Good luck Haz."

"Wait." Louis came back to the entrance, and poked his head through it, "Kiss her."

"What? Honestly, weren’t you listening to me? She rejected me last time. What happened to wooing?" I said, deciding that Louis could be very confusing at times.

"Just trust me. It will show her that she likes you."

"But what if she rejects me again?" I questioned. I knew that she would. Once she thought one way about something, it was always hard to change her mind on the subject.

"Don't let that happen," Louis responded with a wink, closing the door.
