I Finally Found You (Completed)

Today, my name is Olivia Moore. But, it used to be Erin Parker. I had grown up with a normal life in Holmes Chapel, England. I had two of the best parents a child could have. Though I didn’t have any siblings, I had a best friend, Harry.

But, that all changed two years ago. Why? Because I died...or at least that’s what everyone thought. They all thought that I was in a car explosion when I was 16, when someone had planted a car bomb. My friends, family, and anyone I had ever known lost me.

But in reality, none of that happened. Yes, I lost the people around me, but that was because I went into hiding. Three days before I “died,” I saw something that I shouldn't have, so my life was in danger. I didn't really have very much time to say goodbye to everyone I loved. The fact that they didn't know what really happened kills me, they all think I’m dead, that I’m never going to come back. Until now.

17. Chapter 16

It had been over a week since I've talked to Erin. In between all of the interviews, promotion and concerts, I had texted her and called her, trying to get a hold of her. But she never answered me.

I would’ve gone over to her flat, but I had been on the road for the past five days. We would be getting back to New York in a little bit.

Louis had apologized to me countless times and I eventually forgave him. I realized that I shouldn't actually be mad at him for this. It's not like he meant for this to happen. Plus, I would've followed him as well if he wasn't telling me something.

He had dropped the subject, because I told him that I didn't want to talk about it. He said that he would help me in any way possible to get my relationship back with Erin, but I still haven't told him why I was sneaking around for her. Also, I know that he's still extremely curious about the whole thing.

The rest of the boys haven't said anything to me about her either. And I'm guessing Louis had already told them about everything that went down at her flat. But they still would come over to me once in awhile, informing me that I could talk about it with them if I wanted to. I would always thank them but turn them down every time.

When we arrived at our new hotel, I saw that it was closer to Erin’s flat, compared to the last one. It was an early Sunday morning and the fact that we had the day off, gave me the chance to try to get Erin back today.

But once I did find a way for her to talk to me, I needed Louis to explain to her what really happened, that I never said a word to anyone about her situation.

"Louis, I need you to help me today,” I told him after I had put my suitcases in my room.

"With what?" he asked as he fiddled his phone. He was probably texting his girlfriend, Eleanor, checking in with her.

"I'm going to try to get Erin back today."

He looked up at me with a happy smile, "Good for you Harry! What can I do?"

"I need you to explain to her that you had followed me."

"But you're not even going to tell me why you were hiding things from me and the lads?" he complained.

"You're the one that caused my relationship with Erin to break. I don't owe you anything right now. You can at least do this for me."

He rolled his eyes, "Fine, I'll do it. Let's go over to her place."

He started to walk out the door but I grabbed his arm, "We can't just go over to her place like that. Someone might-" I caught myself, stopping.

After a long pause of him waiting for me to continue, he spoke, "Someone might what?" He waited for my answer that never came, "You can't tell me?"

I only nodded because I was afraid of saying something else that I shouldn’t. I was lucky there when I realized what I had been saying.

Louis sighed, "Well how else do you plan on talking to her? She won't answer your calls or texts."

"I don't know…" I said as I scratched the back of my neck.

"Well you're going to have to risk someone seeing us, even if it’s such a big deal. I see no other way of contacting her.”

Sadly, Louis was right. As badly as I wanted to keep my promise by not letting anyone see us, I had to see Erin. I didn’t want to lose her again. The only thing we could hope for was Mia being out.

"Well this is it," Louis said as we stood in front of Erin’s eleventh floor door.

I knocked on it and waited, seeing shadows appear under the door. It was if there were feet next to it. I then heard a nudge on the door like someone was leaning against it. Then, the shadows disappeared.

Seeing the shadows and hearing the noise, Louis looked at me, "She's in there."

The nudge on the door meant that someone was looking through the peep hole to see us. If the person was her roommate, it would've been just seconds until the door opened. But because nothing happened, it was Erin, she was just ignoring me.

I knocked on the door again, "Erin, I know you're in there, please open up."

Louis knocked too, "Erin, it’s Louis. We have to talk to you." He turned his back in my direction, "Now what? She's not going to come out."

Then I remembered, "Lou, move away from the door."

He sent me a confused expression, "You're not going to actually try to break down the door are you?"

"No, just move."

He did what I said, stepping away. Bending down, I reached underneath the doormat to grab the key that Erin had told me about once before.

"Ah ha! Perfect!" Louis exclaimed, “Now put it in.”

I inserted the key and unlocked the door to see Erin in the kitchen, breaking an egg.

What was he doing here?

I walked away from the door, confused by his appearance and hoping that he didn't hear me. I wanted him out of my life. Did my ignoring him not express that?

I went back to trying to figure out what I wanted to for breakfast. Normally, I would be in the bathroom, getting ready, but Mia got up early to go visit her parents who lived a couple of hours away on the other side of New York state. So she was showering at the moment.

I thought to myself on what I wanted. Now do I want cereal? Or some eggs?

"Erin, I know you're in there, please open the door," I heard Harry say through the door with some knocks. Crap he did hear me.

I decided on eggs, because that was the last thing that I thought about when he interrupted me. Okay, sunny side up? Scrambled?

"Erin, we have to talk to you,” Louis said knocking some more. Scrambled it is.

I tried to ignore them as best as I could, with the hopes that they would go away eventually. The knocks finally stopped by the time I went over to grab four eggs from the fridge: two for me, two for Mia.

After getting a bowl out, I got ready to crack open the first egg into the bowl when the door busted open.

"Nice pajamas," Harry said, smirking as he looked at my polka-dotted pajama shorts.

"How did you get in here? The door was locked,” I asked, alarmed by their presence.

"There was a key under your door mat," Louis informed me. Of course there was.

I pointed to the door, "Well get out."

"I can't do that, you have to listen first," Harry said, stepping closer to me, causing me to back up.

"Leave me alone Harry. I don't want to hear what you have to say. You broke your promise. Now leave." I didn't want Harry here. I wanted him gone. I wanted him to leave me alone.

"That's just it Erin, I didn't."

"If you didn't, then why did he show up?" I gestured to Louis, "You know what, I don't even want to know. Just leave Harry. I shouldn't have ever let you know that I was alive," I sighed, "Just go before I call Jonathan and let him know you’re here.”

"You would risk it?” he said, scrunching up his eye brows.

“Try me.”

I pulled out my phone out of my pajama bottoms, ready to dial the number, when Harry sped over and grabbed the phone from me.

He raised it above his head, much too far for me to even come close to grabbing it, "No, talk to me first,” he ordered.

I got quite close to him as I moved my hand up, trying to take my phone back, "Give it to me!"

He shook his head, looking at me in the eyes, though my attention wasn’t on his, "Stop being so stubborn Erin. Just hear me out."

Still going for my phone, I noticed that it had gotten quieter in the last couple of seconds.

I gasped and stopped reaching, whipping my head towards the bathroom door. I had realized that the water in the shower must’ve turned off, indicating that Mia was done showering.

Louis and Harry both gave me a puzzled looks. Mia would be out here any minute and they weren't ever going to leave.

I lowered my voice to a whisper, "Just go into my room."

"Why are you whispering?" Louis asked, also bringing his voice down as well as he talked for the first time since he walked in.

"Because my roommate can't see you and she'll be out here any minute. So if you want to talk to me so badly, go to my room. Now."

"Thank you Erin." Harry said, quickly kissing my cheek, causing me to frown and glare at him.

I went back to making the eggs; it was the only normal thing I could do at the moment because, right now, I was hiding two famous boys in my room.

Mia walked out of the bathroom with just a towel on. She paused when she saw me making breakfast, "You're making eggs?"

"Uh huh." I gave her a smile, acting like nothing had just happened.

"You're making me some, right?"

"Yeah, of course," I grabbed the milk and poured a bit into the bowl, mixing it in.

"Awesome possum!" she said as she left to go to her room to go change.

After putting in some salt and pepper and cooking it on the stove in a pan, I put some cheese on them at the last minute as Mia came walking out.

"Yay!" she said, grinning.

We sat and ate together, talking about her parents. In mid conversation, she checked her phone for the time.

"Oh shoot! I've gotta get going!" She put the last of her eggs in her mouth and put the plate into the dishwasher. She then ran into her room to grab her purse and came back to put her coat on.

"I think you need to move a little quicker there, Mia," I joked.

"Shut up Olivia!" she laughed, "Bye! See you Monday!" And she was gone.

Now I had to go face Harry and listen to what he had to say. I didn't want to though. I just wanted to go back to how my life was before he showed up in the first place. Besides all of the texts and calls that I've gotten this week, it had been fine.

I opened my door to Louis sitting backwards on my desk chair and Harry on my bed, "So, who's Olivia?" Louis asked as I closed the door.
