I Finally Found You (Completed)

Today, my name is Olivia Moore. But, it used to be Erin Parker. I had grown up with a normal life in Holmes Chapel, England. I had two of the best parents a child could have. Though I didn’t have any siblings, I had a best friend, Harry.

But, that all changed two years ago. Why? Because I died...or at least that’s what everyone thought. They all thought that I was in a car explosion when I was 16, when someone had planted a car bomb. My friends, family, and anyone I had ever known lost me.

But in reality, none of that happened. Yes, I lost the people around me, but that was because I went into hiding. Three days before I “died,” I saw something that I shouldn't have, so my life was in danger. I didn't really have very much time to say goodbye to everyone I loved. The fact that they didn't know what really happened kills me, they all think I’m dead, that I’m never going to come back. Until now.

14. Chapter 13

Earlier That Day

"Alright boys, that's it for the interviews." Paul informed us. We all got up from the enormous red couch that we were currently sitting on.

"Awesome, my bum's been hurting after sitting all this time." Niall yawned and stretched.

Louis gave him a look then rolled his eyes, turning to me, "Niall and I are planning on going to Times Square. Wanna come?"

The problem was, I wasn't sure on how I would leave them. But, then again, I would have a better chance of leaving while on the streets than being in the hotel that was practically surrounded by fans. Plus, I had to go to a store that was located in Times Square anyway.

"Yeah, yeah, sure."

We left from the place where the interview was at with one of our more lenient body guards, Nicholas. As in, he let you do more things without the worry of getting mobbed or getting hurt in some way. Paul and management of course didn't know about this because we would never tell them about it, for good reason.

"Why Times Square?" I asked Niall while we drove there.

"Louis said that there's an H&M nearby that he went to yesterday. He wants to pick up a shirt that he didn't buy that he decided he wanted."

"It's always bound to happen, so there's no reason to ask anymore." Niall said with a little sarcasm. Louis always would go to a store, not sure if he should buy something or not. And then the next day, he would want it. So we would go all the way back to whatever store it was so get the item.

I talked to Nicholas about wanting to leave because the store was nearby as we walked behind Louis and Niall, "I need to go somewhere by myself. Is that alright?"

He looked downward towards me, "Where do you need to go?"

I pursed my lips, "I can't tell you."

He furrowed his eyebrows at me, "Harry, you know my rule. You have to tell me."

"But I can't." It didn’t matter how much I trusted the body guard, I just couldn’t tell him.

"I'm sorry, but you can't go." Nicholas's rule was that we always had to tell him where we were going, just in case we got into any trouble or if I was ever needed somewhere else. I contemplated on whether or not I should tell him.

I would only be telling him the address and I wouldn't need to tell him why I was going. Plus, I pretty much had to go. So in reality, I guess it would be alright.

I gave him the address then added, "Would it be alright that you didn't tell anyone, unless it was urgent?"

"Of course, I'll call you when you need to get back, alright?"

I turned around and started over to Toys R Us. Why? Well my idea for the day was that me and Erin were going to play some video games, just like old times. I noticed while I was at her place that she had a Wii system.

So because I was in Times Square, I knew that the closest place for me to buy some games for it would be at Toys R Us. The idea may sound a little small or lame, but I knew it would bring back memories with Erin.

I walked into this huge building that even had a ferris wheel inside it. I had been here before with Liam to buy some nerf guns awhile back.

It took me awhile to find the Wii games, but once I did, I decided on three different games: Super Mario Smash Bros, one of the Just Dance games, and Super Mario Bros. It wasn't like I couldn't afford it, so it didn't matter if we only played one of them.

After I purchased them, I put them into the bag I had been carrying. Stepping out into the New York City air, I hailed a cab.

Present Time

"What's in the bag?" Erin asked me.

I set the bag out in front of me, ready to open it, "You shall see." I pulled on the zipper of the backpack and pulled out the three games. She grinned at me, excitedly.

Without me even asking which one she wanted to play, she announced, "Super Mario Bros. We are playing that. No questions at all. That's what we're playing." She took the game from me and walked over to the Wii.

In the back of my mind, I figured that she would choose the game that she did, because we always used to play it when we were younger. Of course not the Wii version, but also the original version. My mum owned the original Super Nintendo, so Erin and I would play Super Mario all summer, trying to beat it.

"Here," She said, tossing me a remote. After she turned on the telly, she skipped over and sat down next to me, "Do you realize how long it's been since I've played this? I’m probably not nearly as good now!"

I laughed, "Do you want to play a different one then?" I asked.

"No! Don't be stupid Harold." She scoffed, followed by a smile.

We decided that we would try to get as much done as possible. But we realized after awhile that I wasn’t nearly as good as Erin. Somehow, her Super Mario skills hadn’t declined over the past two years.

We got halfway in world three, but I was failing, holding us back.

"I need to take a break Harry." Erin said. She put her remote down on the coffee table in front of us, and leaned her head against my shoulder. I set my remote down next to me and then put my arm around her.

It felt normal again, and I can't say that I had felt this kind of normal since she left.

"Thank you." She murmured.

"For what?" I asked. I hadn't really done anything for her except give her three Wii games and make her some alfredo yesterday.

"You know, for bringing me back to my old life."

I squeezed her a little bit, "It was nothing Erin. I wasn't even trying or anything."

She sighed, "I know, but thank you for listening to my story. I'm just glad someone understands me." She paused and I could feel her smile again, "And I got my best friend back, which is one of the most important things."

"I'm just glad you missed me because I missed you too."

She lifted her head to look at me. Her face was inches from mine and I could feel her breath on my cheeks. She smiled mischievously, "Harry, I never said that I missed you."

She layed her head back down on my shoulder and I sat up a bit, "You didn't miss me?"

She shrugged her shoulders but I could see that she was grinning.

"Erin, say you missed me or else."

She looked back up at me, "Or else what?"

"This." I got up, flipped her onto her back, and immediately started to tickle her stomach.

She started giggle uncontrollably, "Harry! Stop it!"

"Say you missed me." I laughed at her and tickled some more.

"Then I will never stop!"

"You're hurting me!" She tried to move my arms away, but she couldn't get a hold of them while she was laughing really hard.

"Then you have to admit you missed me!

"Fine! Fine! Fine! I missed you Harry!"

I stopped tickling her, but we were still laughing. Next thing we know, we started to hear someone fumbling with the door handle.

Erin gasped and gave me a shocked look, "Mia isn't supposed to be back for another couple of hours."
