I Finally Found You (Completed)

Today, my name is Olivia Moore. But, it used to be Erin Parker. I had grown up with a normal life in Holmes Chapel, England. I had two of the best parents a child could have. Though I didn’t have any siblings, I had a best friend, Harry.

But, that all changed two years ago. Why? Because I died...or at least that’s what everyone thought. They all thought that I was in a car explosion when I was 16, when someone had planted a car bomb. My friends, family, and anyone I had ever known lost me.

But in reality, none of that happened. Yes, I lost the people around me, but that was because I went into hiding. Three days before I “died,” I saw something that I shouldn't have, so my life was in danger. I didn't really have very much time to say goodbye to everyone I loved. The fact that they didn't know what really happened kills me, they all think I’m dead, that I’m never going to come back. Until now.

12. Chapter 11

Harry had made me chicken alfredo, and it was fantastic! "I've got to say Harry, your cooking skills have actually improved." I sent him a small smirk.

"Are you saying that they were bad when you left?" He asked sadly, yet very sarcastically.

I pointed my fork at him, "You know what I mean Harold."

We ate most of what he made, but we ended up putting some of it into the fridge for leftovers. We were washing the dishes together when Harry's phone started to ring.

"Yeah Lou?...Just doing dishes…Really?" He sighed and shook his head. "Tell him that I'm coming...Yeah bye." He put his phone into his pocket and went back to washing dishes.

"When are you leaving?" I asked. I assumed in a little bit, but I wanted to know.

He dried the last plate and put it back into the cabinet. "Soon. My management is mad that I let without saying anything today."

"You what? Harry Styles, you are quite the trouble maker."

"I had to. I knew that they wouldn't let me go because of what me and some of the boys did yesterday." He kind of laughed at this.

"What did you guys do?"

"Well we went out without a bodyguard and we only told Zayn about it. Our manager was furious." He was grinning, so I could tell that he was quite content with himself, being mischievous as ever, "But I guess he was more scared of us getting mobbed or something."

We talked a little more about my boy band life. But I eventually had to go. Louis said that Paul wasn’t happy with me. I just wondered how he told Paul about the situation.

We walked over to the door, and I hugged her as tight as I could, "Harry, you're...too strong to...do this." Erin breathed.

"I'm showing you that I'm going to miss you," I released her, and she fixed her sweater. I then brought her in for a more "normal" hug. "I promise you that I won’t tell anyone. When can I see you again?"

"You can't be around when Mia is, because I don't think that it’s a good idea. So I might have to lure her out of the house so you can come again." I hated the idea of always having to see her here, not being able to bring her places.

"Can't we go do something?"

She sighed in my arms, "People are going to take pictures of you Harry, no doubt about it. I will be in them, they will get on the internet, and the killer can find me."

"Oh yeah..." I let her go and started to walk out the door. "Just let me know when you can?"

She nodded in agreement, "Yeah, of course."

I walked downstairs to the building's doors and hailed a cab. I thought about everything Erin had told me. She was known as Olivia by everyone now, she could never be in any pictures, she couldn't be seen with me, and she has had absolutely no contact with anyone from the past. Except for me.

I was very content with today. I got my best friend back. We acted towards each other as if we had never been separated. But I hated that she had to go through that terrible experience like that and I couldn't be there for her. I took out my phone and texted her.

To: Errrrrin

Let me know if you have anything planned for tomorrow...I have interviews in the morning but thats it! I want to hang out again :)

I must've fallen asleep on the couch once Harry had left, because I woke to Mia shaking me awake, "Olivia. Olivia. Olivia. Olivia."

"What?" I mumbled to her.

"Remember that math test that we have tomorrow? You need to study for it with me."

I sat up to look at her, "What time is it?" I asked groggily.

"Five. I left Trevor's place early so we could do this.”

Five? If it was five, that meant that I had slept for over two hours after Harry had left. I must've been really tired. Maybe my crying had worn me out.

Remembering my time with Harry, I asked, "What’s the plan for tomorrow then?" I was really hoping that she was busy.

"Trevor asked me if I wanted to hang out with him tomorrow, so I'll probably do that." I was so relieved when she said this. This meant that Harry and I could reconnect a little more tomorrow.

"Is that alright with you? I hate ditching you two nights in a row." She looked like she felt a little bad, but it was, of course, alright with me.

"Oh yeah, I'll be fine! Go hang out with Trevor again. I'll just call up Laurel or Kylie to see if one of them wants to hang out."

She also looked as relieved as I had before, "Awesome! He has a surprise for me tomorrow, I'm really excited."

I got up to grab my stuff so I could study tomorrow's maths test with her. I was pretty good at maths and all, which is why Mia always studied with me, besides the fact that we were roommates. By the time we were done, it was already almost seven.

We had gone back into the living room to watch The Big Bang Theory, our favorite comedy show, "I'm hungry," Mia complained. She got up and walked over to the kitchen.

"Should I order Chinese?" I called over my shoulder.

"Oooh! When did you make chicken alfredo? I didn't know you could cook this Liv!" She had her head in the fridge, grabbing the container of leftovers from this afternoon.

I had almost forgotten about that. The thing was, Mia practically knew that I couldn't cook anything besides breakfast food. Well, I could, just not nearly as well as most people.

"I made it this afternoon, when I got bored." I told her.

She dished herself a bowl and put it into the microwave. Then she came over and knelt behind the couch, near me. She had her arms laying on top of each other with her chin resting on them.

"So what else did you do today?" She asked.

I came up with the first things that came to my mind, "I had a lazy day because of this morning. I basically just laid around day, practically doing nothing. Making myself lunch was pretty much the excitement of the day." I said, shrugging. I was trying to sound as nonchalant as possible

“Well except for the One Direction concert.” Mia added.

“Oh of course.”

"You didn't go anywhere?" She cocked up an eyebrow.

"No, why?"

She gave me a puzzled look, "No reason, it’s just that you're dressed really nicely, compared to what you were wearing this morning." She shrugged it off and walked over to the microwave when it beeped, indicating that the alfredo was done.

She blew off the steam that was coming off of a noodle that she had picked up with her fork. Taking a bite, "This is really good Olivia! Since when do you cook like this?" Ummm...

"I don't know, I just found a recipe.” I said hastily.

"Well awesome job!" As she ate, I texted Harry.

To: Harry

I have a maths test tomorrow, but I should be back at my flat by 1ish? You can come over when you want, theres a key under my doormat. Don't worry about my roommate, she'll be gone. :) Did you by any chance pick up any of those papers that I dropped? because I need them back

I was just hoping that tomorrow would go as planned.
