28. Taken Away

Author's Note: This chapter is dedicated to "CelCel Tomlinson" because she comments after pretty much every update, giving me encouragement and saying she can't wait for more! Her comments always make me smile, and I even used something she said in one of them in this chapter! This one's for you babe :) Hope you all like it! xx

The next day, Louis woke up to a beautiful sight. Belle was asleep with her head on his chest, her hand laid directly over top of his heart. Her brown hair was partially covering her face as she slept peacefully. Louis smiled and gently moved the strands behind her ear. Belle squirmed a little and scrunched up her nose in her sleep. Louis had to bite his lip to stifle a giggle at how cute she was.

With his free hand that wasn't around Belle's body, Louis reached out and grabbed his phone from the bedside table. He quickly pulled up his front facing camera and snapped a silly selfie with his mouth open, making sure that Belle's sleeping form was in the picture too. He immediately tweeted it, adding the caption:

Sleeping Beauty has me trapped and I'm too scared to wake her up! Help!

Louis started to laugh at his own wit and Belle stirred in her sleep at the quick rise and falls of his chest. He quickly stopped and waited a few seconds for Belle to start snoring softly again before he exhaled in relief.

With that, Louis started scrolling through his Twitter mentions. Almost all of his most recent mentions were directed to the picture he had just posted.

@Louis_Tomlinson Omg are you guys dating?? I love you please follow me!! xxxxxx

@Louis_Tomlinson Aw you two are so freakin cute!

@Louis_Tomlinson Are you and @SilverBelles22 going to start dating or what???? I love you!!

Louis chuckled and quickly typed a reply to that last tweet.

@Itsa1DerfulWrld As a matter of fact yes, @SilverBelles22 and I ARE dating now :) And you're the first to know!! xx

Louis smiled, knowing that he had probably made that fan's day by replying to her. He chuckled again as he read more mentions, all the fans freaking out that he had confirmed what they referred to as "Louelle".

About five minutes passed and Louis checked to see what was trending, not surprised at all at three that he saw.

Louis and Belle

Belle started to stir as Louis muttered, "Crazy Directioners" under his breath whilst chucklin. She groaned and lifted her head up, looking at Louis with hair falling back in her face. Louis set his phone down and smiled at her obviously displeased expression.

"Good morning love." He said cheerfully.

Belle rolled her eyes and sat up, stretching her arms out and running a hand through her bed hair. She rolled her eyes at Louis' amused expression and muttered, "No such thing."

Louis cocked his head to the side in confusion. "No such thing as what?"

Belle turned back to him and smirked. "There's no such thing as a good morning."

Louis threw his head back and laughed while Belle just stuck her tongue out at him and smiled, throwing back the covers and hopping off of the bed. She walked around and kissed Louis on the cheek.

"Ew, morning breath, get away!" Louis shouted jokingly, dragging out the 'y' sound. Belle rolled her eyes and walked off towards the bathroom, knowing fully well that Louis was looking at her ass. She flaunted it a little and looked over her shoulder.

"Like what you see?"

Louis quickly made eye contact with her and blushed bright red. "I, uh, I was just--"

"Oh shut up Louis, I'm just teasing!" She said playfully, grabbing the door handle to the bathroom and winking at him as she closed it behind her.

"Wait where are you going?" Louis shouted.

"I'm taking a shower and brushing my teeth to get rid of my morning breath!" Belle yelled right back. She heard Louis chuckle on the other side of the door and she smiled.

Last night had been perfect. Louis had stayed the night but they had both agreed that while they'd technically already had sex, it had happened before they were a couple and whenever they decided to take that next step in their physical relationship, it was going to be a special occasion and not anytime soon. They hadn't told anyone yet, but it was a huge possibility that Louis' tweet had already gone viral and the boys and management may have even already seen it. Belle still didn't know about it though.

As if on cue, Louis' phone rang. He looked at the caller ID.

It was Olivia, their public relations manager, the woman who had been so serious with the whole "no outside of work fraternizing" when they had the meeting with Belle three or four weeks ago in New York. She was probably furious. Louis took in a deep breath and clicked the answer button.

"Hullo?" He asked lazily.

"Ah, Mr. Tomlinson, so nice of you to answer my call seeing as you don't do anything else I ask."

Louis exhaled and sarcastically replied, "Well hello there Olivia how are you on this lovely morning?"

"Not so great seeing as you have yet again completely disregarded what I and the rest of your hard working management team has asked you to do! And not only that, you put your relationship with Anabelle--"

"Belle." Louis interrupted firmly. "She goes by Belle, not Anabelle."

"Whatever, I don't care. The point is that you put it on Twitter for crying out loud! Did you not hear anything I said to you boys when we were in New--"

"Olivia stop." Louis interrupted yet again. "Look, Belle and I care for each other deeply and honestly, I don't really care what you say, because I'm going to be with her. And don't even think about saying that you'll fire her because you know just as well as I do that you can't afford to try and find yet another opening act even half as talented as she is when we leave for tour tomorrow. So why don't you just save your breath, because Belle and I are a couple now whether you like it or not, and that fact is not going to change anytime soon."

Louis finished his spill and took a deep breath, while the other line went silent for a few moments.

"Alright fine, you win." Olivia replied with a tired, defeated tone. Louis smirked. "I suppose if you two are going to do this, we might as well do it big. You, Anabelle--"

"--and the boys are to meet us at the arena for a last minute tour briefing in an hour, so you and her can come together. The paps will catch you two I'm sure, so hold hands, hug, do whatever the hell you do, I don't really care. We'll talk more at the meeting."

"Sounds good Olivia." Louis replied simply. He was about to hang up when he heard Olivia's voice speak again.

"Oh and Tomlinson?" There was a brief pause. "Don't ever pull shit like that with me again."

Louis pulled the phone away from his ear and looked at it in bewildered amusement.

"Well then." He muttered to himself.

"Well then what?" Belle's sweet voice asked as she stepped out of the bathroom. She was wrapped up in a towel and putting her wet hair up in a bun. Louis' breath hitched for a second as he took in the sight. Belle smiled.

"Nothing." Louis finally said with a smile. "I'm just glad the shower is open! You're such a girl, gosh." He muttered cheekily, jumping up from the bed and putting his hands on Belle's waist, kissing her on the cheek before going into the bathroom to shower too. "We have to be at the arena for a meeting with management in an hour, so I'm gonna shower here." He said. "Oh and by the way, check your Twitter, I think you might have a few mentions." He added mysteriously with a wink.

Belle narrowed her eyes. "Louis...what did you do?"

Louis grinned mischieviously. "Just look babe." He closed the door behind him.

As Louis stripped and stepped into the hot water of the shower, he heard Belle shriek in the bedroom and he smiled in satisfaction.

Louis' childish laughter reverberated off of the shower walls.

One hour later, Louis took Belle's hand in his own. The couple smiled at each other as they exited the hotel together.

"Well let's go, girlfriend." Louis said cheekily, winking as he tugged Belle towards the direction of the arena, only three blocks away.

Belle giggled. "Okay, boyfriend." She replied playfully, holding onto his arm with her other hand and leaning into him.

They looked like the ideal couple; happy, carefree, young, attractive, not a worry in the world. For now, at least.

Belle and Louis teased and joked with each other as they walked the first block. Suddenly though, Belle got a strange feeling in her gut. She turned and looked behind her with an unreadable expression on her face.

"You alright love?" Louis asked, jerking Belle's attention back to him.

"Huh? Oh, yeah I'm fine. I just..." Belle looked behind her once again, furrowing her brow. "I just felt like someone was watching me..."

Louis squeezed Belle's hand and smiled down at her as she turned back to face him. "Well I wouldn't be surprised if someone was looking at you, you do look amazing today." He said in a husky voice, leaning down to nibble at her jawline. Belle squirmed and giggled, forgetting all about the strange feeling she'd just had. A feeling that she was being followed. That she was being watched.

Suddenly though, a black SUV came flying up the steet, screeching to a sudden stop next to them. Louis and Belle both stopped playing around and turned to look as two incredibly large men jumped out of the vehicle.

Belle gasped as she recognized the two guys from her dad's security team. "Oh my gosh!" She shouted, trying to pull Louis away. They weren't fast enough though, and one of the guys grabbed Belle around the waist and jerked her away from Louis, their hands slipping away from each other.

"Belle!" Louis shouted, trying to hold onto her, but was roughly pushed down onto the ground by the other big man from the SUV.

Belle was screaming and thrashing about as the other man pulled her away by her waist. "Let me go you asshole! Louis help! Louis! It's my--"

Belle's voice was cut off as the man threw her into the SUV and slammed the door in her face. He jumped into the driver's seat and the guy who had pushed Louis down hopped in the passenger seat. Louis was up at this point, running after the van and shouting Belle's name. He wasn't fast enough though, and the vehicle sped off yet again, burning rubber on the London asphalt. He jumped off the sidewalk and onto the road and chased after the black SUV, shouting after Belle, until it was out of sight. He slowed down and put his hands on his knees, defeated, out of breath, and ragged looking.

Belle had just been kidnapped right in front of his eyes in less than thirty seconds.

And he hadn't been able to do a damn thing to stop it.

As soon as Belle had been thrown into the SUV, she jerked on the door handle manically, but she was locked in. She pounded on the glass, screaming after Louis, but she knew he couldn't hear her. He struggled to get up off the ground and she saw him chase after the car, shouting her name, as it sped away. Tears streamed down her face and her hair stuck to her wet face. She put her palm up against glass and whispered his name.

Suddenly, Belle heard a familiar clearing of one's throat behind her. She clenched her jaw and the hand she had held up against the window balled into a fist. A correct fist at that, with her thumb on the outside, just like Paul had taught her.

Belle whipped her head around and made eye contact with the man she knew for certain she held hatred in her heart for. He was directly opposite her, sitting on a leather bench-type seat, with his ankle resting on his opposite knee, head cocked, with a bemused and satisfied smirk on his face. She also saw a familiar blonde head, ducked down to avoid eye contact with her, sitting beside the man she loathed so much. She would worry about that later though.

Belle hated the man in front of her and she knew had organized her kidnapping. He was an evil, low-life cockroach, and she despised every fiber of his being. He would stop at nothing to get what he wanted, and what he always wanted was money. It was all he cared about; over family, over friends, over love and happiness. He never gave a damn about Belle growing up and he sure as hell didn't care about her now. She'd only gained one thing from this man, and it was half of her genes.

"Hello Anabelle, it's nice to see you dear. I trust you're doing well?" He asked in a sickeningly sweet voice.

Belle's nostrils flared and her eyes got red. Through gritted teeth, she was able to spit out two words, dripping with detest.
