It's time to dance {One Direction}

"Complicated enough to not even tell your best friend? This was why you were acting so strange at the park that day after the flash-mob in Battersea Park! Did he even know you were there? That I was the one his mates ran into shortly after when everything had just turned dark for me for a second."
"Mel it's more than that. Liam and I are together, but Matt can't know ok? He can't know anything about this place. Just as Liam can't know about the crew. You understand?"
"No I don't. I'm your best friend Dani. Your best friend through years, and this is why you've been acting so strange all of a sudden? I knew about x-factor and shut up about it. But this? This is a freaking boy band."
"But you're still here aren't you?"
I guess no matter how good you think you know people, you'll always be surprised at the end when your whole world turns around.

4. Watched under training

“1-2-3 and 4-5-6-7-8, again from the top! 1-2-3 and 4-5-6-7-8, again c’mon!”

Dani was trying to teach us the new dance moves for the next flash-mob. It had been a couple of days since the last flash-mob in Battersea Park, so we needed to move on and work on something new and something bigger and something better. We had flown in some of the best dancer from the North of England, so this time it was gonna get much better, but there was still one thing wrong with me. I kept thinking about that boy Zayn I had met a couple of days back, and his ‘see you around’ like what was that even supposed to mean?

“Mel snap yourself out of it! From the top now.”

I shook my head and ran my fingers through my hair before I started from the top and moved my feet and arms around exactly like the others did it, actually I did it even better. At least at the beginning I did. I look over at Matt who faced the entrance to the croft where we were at. It was only the crew, who was allowed to be here, and hopefully we were the only ones who knew about the place, at least we had never been caught here by the police. At least not yet, but there was something going on in the entrance, and I needed to figure out who was watching us from distance.

I ran down between all of the dancers and out in the back, I could feel those eyes stare on me, and check out my body. I was closely followed by Matt who kept asking me questions but it was like I couldn’t hear him and just needed to see who was watching me. Soon he stopped following me and went back to the dancers and kept the position as the leader.

I saw the dark hair, the dark eyes, the darker skin, and the smile that I couldn’t get out of my mind printed all over his face as soon as I was out in something that reminded me a bit of a hall, but still visible for the rest of the crew to see.

"What are you doing here?"

I ran up in his face and covered him for the rest of the group who kept dancing on Dani's command.

"I heard the music and I wanted to check it out."

"You have no business here, so I'll suggest you to leave."

"What because this is your crew?"

"I saw you in Battersea Park."

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Melody right?"

He smirked at me we spoke about it for a while but I still didn't like the idea of him being here. He would put me in a bad position for skipping class.

"Mel, get yourself back to the dance floor!"

Matt had appeared behind me, and I had the entire crew staring at me. This was different, and scary as fuck.

"Can't you see I'm busy?"

"Busy with what? Who's this?"

"This is Zayn. He's a friend of mine."

"Friend? Since when did you start hanging out with guys like him?"

"Since when was it on your business who I'm hanging out with when it's outside of this room?"

"Make him leave, or I want you to leave."

Matt turned back to the dancing and led the group around the room for a while. It was beautiful watching them move like robots and machines to the music. It was like the beats had been taken over their bodies.

"Who was that?"

Zayn snapped me back to reality and I turned my face sharp at him and stared at him, with a serious face that would most likely scare the crap out of most people.

"My jealous boyfriend."

"Your boyfriend?"

"Yes Zayn. My boyfriend."

"Isn't he...?"

"A bit old compared to you?"

"Who are you to teach me about age difference? You don't even know me. He's a nice guy."

"If you say so."

"Maybe he was right. Maybe you should leave."

At the same time I heard Dani come up to me in the back to tell me to go back to the dance, but before she even appeared properly she was gone. She was probably hiding in the back of the croft. That's where she was usually hiding whenever she started acting weird.

"Who was that?"

"Probably just someone who couldn't find their way. Zayn please leave now. It's better for everyone if you leave us alone for now."

I looked at him with a serious face and spoke loud enough so Matt would be able to hear me.

"Leave Zayn! Leave us alone and make sure that no one is seeing you when you leave. You've never been here and you don't know us. Thanks for stopping by."

I stuck out my hand for him to shake just to reveal a secret note for him that had my number and a place for us to meet. But it would be when everyone else had left. So we could be alone, because honestly I really did want to get to know him, but it was more complicated than he would ever understand.

Zayn smirked at me as he shook my hand and thereby took the note out of my hand.

"I'll see you around."

I winked at him and then went back to the others. Matt wasn't happy and Dani was still acting weird, but I wasn't gonna let any of them bother me; I just wanted this to finish so I could meet up with Zayn. The way he had been filling my brain over the past days had been insane. It was like I had an obsession with him.

I felt Matt’s eyes follow me as I went back to join the last 15 minutes of training. It wasn’t like we were doing much, but I really gave everything into these last 15 minutes.

As soon as the training was over Matt spoke to all of us for a while, and soon everyone went separate ways. There were only a couple of people still hanging out at the croft and then of course Matt, Dani and I who were always there.

“Mel? Can we talk for a minute?”

I got up from the sofa I had placed myself in and walked up to Matt, who seemed worried and pissed, but this wasn’t as the leader, this was as my boyfriend. There was a really huge different between those two personalities.

“What’s up?”

I ran my fingers over his chest and smiled at him as he wrapped his arms around me, and looked down into my eyes. He was so tall even compared to my 5.9” height.

“Who was that guy?”

“He’s a friend of mine. We’ve met up for a coffee a couple of times and just been casually hanging out. We went to school together.”

“I don’t like him.”

“What because he’s a guy and hanging out with me? Are you jealous of the little creature?”

“You don’t know him. You don’t hang out with his type. What’s going on with you?”

“Can’t I have friends who are different from me?”

“Not that different.”

“Well that’s none of your damn business. Piss off.”

I rolled my eyes before I got myself out of his grip and went back to the sofa, where Dani was still placed.

“You should calm down.”

“Says you? What was up with you when Zayn was here?”

“Dani what is it you aren’t telling me?”

“Never mind. I better get going. Matt’s giving me a ride home.”

“Wanna come or what?”

“No I have plans.”

“Cool. I guess I’ll see you around then?”

“Yeah I’ll call you later.”

And with that I was left alone on the croft. Somehow this was an amazing feeling, yet I was really scared of what was about to come, because while I had been speaking with Dani, I had felt my phone vibrate. Zayn was near, because I had told him to meet me at the park at 5.30 and it was 5.27 now.
