It's time to dance {One Direction}

"Complicated enough to not even tell your best friend? This was why you were acting so strange at the park that day after the flash-mob in Battersea Park! Did he even know you were there? That I was the one his mates ran into shortly after when everything had just turned dark for me for a second."
"Mel it's more than that. Liam and I are together, but Matt can't know ok? He can't know anything about this place. Just as Liam can't know about the crew. You understand?"
"No I don't. I'm your best friend Dani. Your best friend through years, and this is why you've been acting so strange all of a sudden? I knew about x-factor and shut up about it. But this? This is a freaking boy band."
"But you're still here aren't you?"
I guess no matter how good you think you know people, you'll always be surprised at the end when your whole world turns around.

17. touring with the band

Time passed and we were soon ready for the tour. I hadn’t been fighting with anyone for a week which is surprisingly good as it’s been 3 weeks since the whole police incident. Trust me when I say getting back with the band was hard. Everyone was mad at me for the first week and Simon put me into extra training so I would be dancing even more and keeping my mind busy. I would even have to watch the boys when they were training and I hadn’t anything to do. I was watched all the time, but at least I was getting better and happier for every time I was practicing. The 680’s were pretty much over. Everyone had gone out of the crew and was in new ones all over the world.

Our first trip was the tour in France. I was glad that I could get out of UK for a while because I think that’s what everyone needed. To get out and get started instead of having home to be worried about. Danielle and Zayn were the ones who were worst with being worried about me.

Zayn and I were sitting beside each other in the plane. The flight was only about 30 minutes, but he still insisted on sitting right next to me and make sure that I didn’t run anywhere.

“You okay?”

He looked at me as I was staring out of the window sitting in my own little bubble called a world.

“Yeah I’m fine.”

I turned my face and looked at him. He looked worried.

“You don’t have to worry Zayn.”

I placed my hand in his and looked at him with a smile written all over my face.

“I can help but do different.”

“Honestly I’m fine, and I’m here to stay.”

I placed a soft kiss over his lips and fell back in my seat shortly after. The flight wasn’t bad and I enjoyed most of it, mostly because I knew I would have the chance to get some time on my own for the first time in almost a month.

As soon as we landed in Paris we were helped back to the hotel. There wasn’t really the big problem, but there were lots of people there and it kinda scared the crap out of me. I knew there would be a lot of people to perform in front, but not this many when we arrived.

I was sharing a room alone with Danielle. I think Liam enjoyed having his girlfriend with him whenever he was touring around, it really gave him a chance to just be him, and have some time away from the band as well.

"I'm going out for a walk. I need some fresh air."

"sure. Do you want me to come with you?"

"No it's okay. I just need a bit of time on my own. And I promise you I won't get into trouble."

"Somehow I just don't trust you that much."

She smirked at me yet she let me walk away on my own. She knew how much I needed that time on my own once in a while. And if anyone would give it to me it was Danielle.

I was walking around in the streets covered up from people just for a safety. People started knowing me as Zayn's girlfriend and I didn't want to speak with people right now. Especially not some snotty brats who couldn't speak proper English. I just wanted to have my own little private time. ALONE.

I was wandering around in a part of Paris I had never been in before. I had been in Paris a couple of time as a kid when my mum and dad where still together and everything was perfect.  It was here I was first inspired to dance because I saw someone spinning on their head down by the Eiffel Tower. It was here in the heart of Paris it all started.

I turned down a street I knew and started walking towards the tower. I wanted to see if they were still there, the kids who taught me a thing or two when my parents and Jess weren't looking. I was looking around as I felt watched and soon I knew I was.

"What are you doing here?"

The familiar voice of my former stunt man from 680's filled my ears. It was easy to tell it was him without even looking at him. Just by the thick, almost impossible to understand, accent he had.

"Business... And what about you dear Sean? Did you get kicked out or were you part of the ones that ruined what I have spent all my teenage years building?"

"You don't understand what was going on at the end."

"Well guess what? You just got the pleasure of telling me while you're introducing me to the dance crew that belongs to the area of the Eiffel Tower. I need to speak with Ray."

"What do you want from Ray?"

"Something that's only for leaders to know. I just need to speak with him about something okay? He knows me. He was the one who taught me the art of dance at first when I was a kid. We were fooling around. It started 11 years ago. We've kept contact ever since."

Sean gave in a followed me to the area of his new dance crew and soon I was in the middle of a lot of people. They had surrounded me. It was like they wanted to beat me up or maybe even worse.

"Let her through. I know her."

Ray spoke out in French to the dancers and they all moved away from me.

"What are you doing here princess? Don't you have a new boyfriend to look out for while he's singing with that pathetic boy band he's in."

"Someone certainly hasn't come over I broke their heart when I went home to UK."

"Enough. What do you want from me?"

"A conversation. Only the two of us."

He looked at me with suspicious eyes and then walked with me outside.

"Why are you back in France Melody? You know you'll get beaten up if they see you."

"Oh Buhu.... I could have brought a security guard if that's what I wanted. But I'm here to speak with you about the 680's and Matt. You know more than I do and I need to know what's going on Ray. I heard something about my sister and I want to know what you know about her, Tyler and Matt, because I know you know something I'm supposed to know as well."

"Your sister is a big girl now Melody."

"That doesn't mean she can sleep with someone who's 7 years older than her. She's still my sister Ray."

"What's going on with you? This is not who you used to be?"

"I grew up and got an offer. I thanked yes to my offer and Matt kicked me out and we broke up."

"Word says you dumbed him for your band boy."

"I don't care what the word says. I'm not on the streets anymore. And I have no intention on getting back. Danielle got me off just in time before it all went crazy."

"So you don't miss the streets at all."

"Of course I do. I've learned a lot on the streets, but it's not part of who I am anymore."

“You’ll see that’s wrong at some point.”

“I already paid my price Ray. I lost my sister, my boyfriend and the only thing I’ve ever called a family because they were turned into criminals and I wouldn’t be surprised if your crew is taking that way as well.”

He looked at me with a different expression on his face.

“I’m not here to be taught, I’m here to tell you to watch out. After that stunt in London the police have been after everyone. Don’t let your crew go that way. This is where it all started for me, and I don’t want that to be ruined just because you can’t take care of your crew just like Matt. Take care of my family. I know you can do that.”

We smiled at each other and he understood the message.

“Before you leave I want you to take part of something.”

“We have a flash-mob in an hour. It’s your routine. Come with us? Just one last time.”

“I can’t.”

“You have to do it. For your family?”

When he said that I was sold. And soon I found myself back with a lot of my old friends just doing what we used to do. Flash-mobs. No matter where I went I would always end up in the streets with my family, somehow this is how I was supposed to be.
