It's time to dance {One Direction}

"Complicated enough to not even tell your best friend? This was why you were acting so strange at the park that day after the flash-mob in Battersea Park! Did he even know you were there? That I was the one his mates ran into shortly after when everything had just turned dark for me for a second."
"Mel it's more than that. Liam and I are together, but Matt can't know ok? He can't know anything about this place. Just as Liam can't know about the crew. You understand?"
"No I don't. I'm your best friend Dani. Your best friend through years, and this is why you've been acting so strange all of a sudden? I knew about x-factor and shut up about it. But this? This is a freaking boy band."
"But you're still here aren't you?"
I guess no matter how good you think you know people, you'll always be surprised at the end when your whole world turns around.

3. The strange guy at Starbucks

I walked back over the bridge and went to the nearest Starbucks in Chelsea. The streets were really crowded as I walked around and everything just felt different from what it had done about an hour ago where I had been with my best friend and we had been fooling around, before everything would be going lose.

“Watch yourself!”

Someone had pushed me hard in the shoulder. I was sure that it was by mistake, but I was far from in the mood to be nice right now.

I entered the little café, about a mile from Battersea Park and about a mile from the croft where I would be as soon as I had gotten my coffee placed in my hand. I pulled the hood off of my head as I walked up to the counter where I looked at the sign for a short while.

“How may I help you?”

“One tall café Americano please.”

“It’ll be 1.70”

I paid my coffee and backed up as soon as I saw a boy come up behind me who wanted to order as well.

I found my earphone in my low pockets and stepped back leaning against the wall and resting my head for a while as I let the music enter my ears. I was listening to the music, my eyes closed and not trying to move at all. If I made the right dance move in here I could get myself arrested for public disturbance and escaping the police. This was more serious than anyone in here would ever know.

I took a quick look around while I waited for my coffee, just to check if anyone Matt or I knew was around. I would be in trouble if they saw me here.

“Excuse me.”

The strange guy placed a hand over my shoulder and I pulled back faster than anything anyone had ever seen. I had been doing a slide, which was the fastest way for me to move around a room.

I had everyone staring at me and I knew I was screwed, so I just turned around and started walking towards the exit, forgetting everything about the stupid coffee.

“Miss, you forgot your coffee.”

He followed me outside where he stopped me and handed over my coffee. He was having a lot of coffees in one hand and then stood with mine in the other.

“Zayn! C’mon we’re late!”

“Here’s your coffee.”

“What’s your name again?”

“Melody? Pleasure meeting you, I’m Zayn. I’ll see you around.”

He winked at me and then made his way to the curly haired boy who had stepped out of his expensive car. See you around? Yeah if you’ll find me at the croft. Good luck Zayn or whatever your name was. You’ll probably never see me again.

I rolled my eyes as I stuffed my earphones back into my ears and turned the volume up. Sipping my coffee and walking the streets I made my way all the way to the croft up by Hyde Park. It took me about 30 minutes to walk, because I was tired from the dancing earlier and it was kinda far.

“Where have you been?”

Dani came up to me and looked worried. According to her reaction I was in trouble for running the other way than the others earlier.

I shook my empty cup in front of her and turned around to face my crew and my boyfriend who all looked at me disappointed and confused about what happened, but funny enough as soon as they started talking the only thing I had in mind was the kind but yet strange boy from Starbucks. The dark eyes, the British accent, but yet foreign. The olive coloured skin that would make every girl drop dead over him. He was so sexy. I shook my head confused and came back to reality when Matt pushed me against the wall.

“You weren’t even listening?”

“Sorry hun.”

“No, this is serious Mel! This is about your family and what we’re gonna do in the future. You need to stay focused.”

“I know, I said I’m sorry!”

He turned away from me, easily for me to tell that he was disgusted about how I had been acting.

“Next time you follow the group. Are we clear?”

“Stop talking to me as if I was a kid Matt. I’m 19, I understand when I do thing wrong ok?”

I shook my head because I knew I had pissed him off, but this was different from everything that I had ever felt before. He seemed to be worried about me and much more pissed than he had ever been.

“C’mon Mel.”

Dani took a hold on my arm and walked with me to the park as soon as the crew meeting was over. I knew Matt wanted to speak with me, but I wasn’t going to let him right now. I needed to calm myself down.

“What’s going on?”

We were walking around the park nearby and I just shook my head looking at the ground.

“Nothing. Just forget about it.”

“You’ve something on your mind, and you think I’m gonna judge you for telling me about it. What took you so long this time?”

“I met someone who confused me for a moment.”

“I don’t know. This really strange guy down at Starbucks. He was being all polite and yet all bad boy. He was so strange. His name was Zayn, and he was with this curly haired boy..-”

“I don’t know what his name was.”

“It was Harry.”

“How would you know?”

“Zayn Malik a member of… never mind”

“There’s something you aren’t telling me. Isn’t there?”

“No not at all.”

She ran her hand over her curly hair and smiled at me.

“Let’s just forget about it Melody. It’s nothing.”

We soon went separate ways. I kept thinking about Zayn. I don’t know why but for some reason his head kept popping into my thoughts and fill them up in this really strange way. I ran my fingers through my hair that I had let falling down lose over my shoulders and sat down on a bench in the underground as I waited for the tube to come.

“What’s going on with you Mel?”

Matt sat down beside me and wrapped an arm around my shoulder.

“Says you.”

“Hey easy now.”

“Don’t go easy now on me Matthew! You blame me for everything and nothing as soon as I don’t go after your orders. I’m a human being not your slave to dump around.”

“Does that mean I can’t come over tonight?”

“Yes. Mum’s probably pissed anyway.”

I boarded the train and saw him disappear behind me. I just wanted to forget all about this day, even though the flash-mob had been our best flash-mob yet.
