One Direction Christmas mayhem

One Direction are getting ready to go home for Christmas. But the odds are against them, when they are told they'll have to stay behind to create a Christmas song, with more mayhem then the boys have ever seen. Will the boys ever get home before Christmas?

11. Going home for Christmas?

The Next day

Liam's POV

As I pressed the send button last night I felt a pure sense of satisfaction, I couldn't believe we had released not one but two Christmas songs. it felt like a major accomplishment.

Today was Christmas Eve, the boys had planned in packing up their suitcases, and then going to the studio, where we planned to write some songs, while waiting for the announcement from Simon.

I rolled out of bed and began to start packing, this was going to be a great day. I could just feel it. I opened the curtains to see a thin layer of snow, and it was still snowing. Harry would be happy. I smiled as I continued to pack. I could hear the shuffling and moments of the other boys, as they woke up and started moving around the house.

Once I had finished packing, I sat and waited for the rest of the boys. I was anxious, and I kept feeling the urge to look at how the videos were doing. But I knew I couldn't. I didn't really want to know yet and I along with the rest of the band had swore not to look, so when Simon told us, it would be a surprise.

It wasn't long before the rest of the boys came rushing down the stairs. Luggage in hand. "Happy Birthday Louis." I smiled at him, giving him a hug.

"Thanks mate." He grinned back. "Now this birthday will be made brilliant, if we get to go home for Christmas."

All the boys nodded in agreement, before giving Louis a hug as well. We all left then, grabbing some toast on the way out.

By the time we arrived at the studio it was 2pm. The boys and I had planned a surprise trip aquarium, where we had managed to persuade the staff to take Louis in to the tanks to help feed the sharks. He had been really please with our gift as this was something he had told us he'd always wanted to do.

"Thanks boys for that it was a lot of fun." Louis said as we all got in the car to carry on to the studio.

"No problem mate, glad you enjoyed." I replied.

By the time we arrived it was 2pm, well at least it meant we hadn't got a long wait before knowing how we had done. We made our way into the studio, our bags plopped next to us.

Niall picked up his guitar and started strumming a melody.

"Hey guys, I've been having ideas for a new song."

"That's cool, Niall. Have you got any ideas for it yet?" Zayn asked.

"Just the chorus."

"Let's here is then." Harry encouraged.

Niall nodded, before starting to strum away.

(A/N: This is another song I've been working on, I have on only completed the chorus though.)

"This is You, this is me.

this is all that we can be.

This is life, this is fate,

this is the chance we have to take.

So reach way up high,

and feel the wind as we fly.

Cuz this is us."

"That's brilliant Niall." Louis exclaimed.

It was really good, we spent the rest of the day coming up with more lyrics. We hadn't realized the time, until Paul came in.

"You guys never stop working, do you?" He chuckled.

We smiled and laughed with him.

"Anyway, just thought I'd let you know that Mr Cowell, is waiting to speak to you guys."

We all got up hastily, and rushed to met him. When we got there we were met with a serious looking Simon.

"Hi boys, I have good news and bad news."

We all stared at him, wondering what was going to be said.

"The good news is: Your videos reached their goals."

We all started cheering and jumping around, until Simon told us to calm down, as there was more.

"12 Days of Christmas raked up 17Million views in 24hours, and Magic of Christmas raked up 17.5Million views. So well done."

We all smiled, and then I remembered there was bad news too. "What's the bad news?"

"Well, I'm afraid that due to the weather. The airports have cancelled all trips. I am so sorry."

I was really annoyed at this, we had worked so hard, and what for. We wouldn't be going home, I felt bad for Louis, this meant he wouldn't see the last of his birthday, with his family. The room was silent, nobody spoke. I couldn't bare this. So I turned to Paul.

"Please can't you drove us, all we want is to be home, we want to see our families." I begged.

Paul took one look at me and then at the rest of the boys, before smiling.

"Come on then boys, we have a long drive ahead of us, and it's already 8:30, let's get you out of London, and back home."

We all cheered at that, nothing could stop us, and that was the truth of it. We were the strongest team ever.
