For the love of my daughter {One Direction}

"I told you to stay out of my life Sam! You said you didn't want anything to do with her, so why do you suddenly care when she's happy!?"
"She's my daughter, I know what's best for her!"
"You know shit! You've never been here for her! You don't even know her! Just leave us alone!"
"I want her out of the media Alex!"
"She likes being with the boys!"
"I'm taking this to the police!"
"Yeah do that. I have the custody so you can do shit about it!"
I knew Sam had never liked One Direction, but taking them out of Caitlin's life now that she finally had them in real life wasn't fair, though I couldn't help but wonder if he was right. Was it really good for my daughter to be surrounded by the paparazzi whenever she was with one of the boys?
My name is Alexandria Griffin, but call me Alex, I'm an 18 year old model and mother for a 4 year old girl.

22. The beach

“Harry, come on tell me where we’re going.”

“No it’s a surprise.”

He smiled at me and leaned down to kiss my lips before he got his eyes back on the road. We were at a silent part of England and I had no idea about where this guy was taking me, but I knew I was even more south in England than I had ever been.

“You’re such a tease!”

“And that’s why you love me.”

He laughed a bit for himself before getting off the road by Southampton, a city in the south of England. We had been driving for at least 2 hours and honestly I was getting really tired of being in the car, but on the other hand it didn’t really matter, because I was with Harry. Zayn was taking care of Caitlin with Perrie. She had been looking forward for it, even though she was crying when we left.

We drove in silence for a while not really speaking, just enjoying the view over the city.

“We’re here.”

Harry parked the car on an empty parking lot and made the announcement of our arrival.

“The beach?”

“Not just any beach.”

He smirked at me and got out of the car. Before I got the chance of opening my door he was standing there, being a real gentleman to me and holding it to help me out.

“You know it’s the middle of October right?”

“Yeah? The beach is still a beautiful place.”

“Prove it.”

He took my hand and walked with me down till our shoes touched the sand. I let go of his hand, mesmerized over the view this beach had. We were at this place called Durdle Door, a really beautiful place in the southern England. There were rocks all around the beach side, but the small sand side and the cliff out in the water made it all perfect. The sun fell perfectly on the ground and I was in love with the moment I was standing in.

“I told you.”

Harry wrapped his arms around me from behind and rested his head on my shoulder, while making sure I was close to his body. I held my hands on his and smiled as we took a couple of pictures and walked up and down the small beach.

We sat down after a while, on a blanket that Harry had brought.

“Tell me what’s going on with you lately?”

He had an arm wrapped around me as we looked out over the water, being the only people on the beach.

“Everything has just been really crazy lately.”

“You know I’m here for you. Right?”

“I know Harry, but it’s just. First there’s the fight with Sam. He’s still there looking out by the way! Nick is still pissed at me, and then the interview with Alan. That was so out of everything I had ever expected, and then when Emily showed up at the club the other day being all over Conor I just lost it.”

“Wait? Emily?”

“My old roommate.”

“What was she doing at his party?”

“Apparently they are a thing now. I don’t know what she’s doing but we ended up fighting which caused me being the huge chaos I was.”

“You don’t know how to cope with all of this do you?”

“No Harry, that’s why I’m the only one that I want to take care of Caitlin in time. Sam is sick, and I know what he’s capable off, and I’m afraid that he’s gonna show up again.”

“I’ll be there next time.”

“It’s not just that. Caitlin is the most important thing in my life. I don’t want to hurt her in any way at all.”

“Trust me. She won’t get hurt. I promise you. We’ll all take good care of her as long as we’re around her all of us.”

“I know babe, but it’s I’m still being threatened when I go to my mum’s place, and honestly there’s no support when I’m there. Why do you think I haven’t spoken with them for so long?”

“I know.”

He kissed my forehead. We sat there looking out over the ocean and just intertwined in each other and enjoying being teenagers and in love. The view was absolutely amazing and everything was perfect, until one certain song was ready to ruin it all.

“get out, get out, get out of my head…”

That was all we needed to hear before I got up from my comfortable seat and ran away with my phone. The only one that had that tone on my phone was Sam. It was the only way I could tell when he was calling. Harry had started to figure that part out, so he was soon right behind me, trying to stop me from speaking to him, but it didn’t help.

“Alex, sweetheart. I’m glad you answered.”

“What do you want?”

I was still the cold person with my head up high. He wasn’t going to get me down even though he had threatened me with the police. I didn’t care this time.

“Calm down sweetie.”

“Don’t you fucking sweetie me, your sick bastard. What do you want from me this time? What do you want to ruin for me? Or try to take away?”

“Keep her out of the media. That’s everything I asked for, but not even that you’re smart enough to do princess.”

“I don’t fucking care what you ask for! She’s mine, and you have nothing to do with her. I already won this, so you better fucking leave.”

“You’re not even with her right now, so who says I can’t take what I want.”

“You fucking stalk me? That’s it Sammy. Harry? Call security. He’s at our house.”

“Please… like your security can do anything about it.”

“You’ll be surprised about just how much we’re capable off. You’re going down this time Sam.”

I hung up and turned around to hide my face in Harry’s chest. I might be playing the tough girl, but I’m not tough in any way at all.

“Call them Harry!”

Harry did as I said while he held an arm around me and made me walk with him back to the car. We were gonna go back to the apartment in London and look out, because this had been taken to a whole other level, and it was going to end tonight.

We parked the car outside the apartment and were followed in by some of the security. Everything was being made sure that it was secure, and we were watched from the second we stepped out of that car. They didn’t even take their eyes off of us, when we were inside of our home.

I had barely gotten my shoes and coat of as I ran into the living room where I saw her sit on the floor playing with Zayn nice and slow. Perrie was sitting in a chair; I guess she was taking a break from it all.

“It’s okay Alex. She’s okay.”

Zayn got up from the floor. Honestly I was freaking out and really scared about what was going on. And if anyone was about to make a joke right now they would hear me scream from the second the shock touched me.

“Thank God.”

I still stressed around the room and everyone was staring at me trying to calm me down. Just until I jumped up screaming as my phone started ringing.

“I see someone made their way home. Welcome home sweetheart.”

“Leave me alone.”

“Aww you aren’t scared are you?”

“Sam leave us alone!”

“Give me the phone.”

I handed the phone over Harry but took it back before he got to say anything. I took a deep breath and let the courage fill me as Harry took my hand and held it tight.

“Now you listen carefully to me Sammy. Do you get it?”

“Playing all tough now princess?”

“Don’t you fucking princess me you’re sick! You fucking listen to what I’m saying you hear me. We have the entire place surrounded. The security knows where you are, and the second they’ve surrounded you perfectly, you’ll be in jail sweetheart. The police is on the way and when they get here, I’ll make damn sure that you’re never going to see either me or your so called daughter again. You hear me? It’s over for you now Sammy. I can hear the police coming through your phone, and you know what? You can’t do anything about it. Good luck in the prison you sick piece of shit.”

I hung up and threw my phone of the kitchen table.

“What did you do that for?”

“I heard what the security said. They knew where he was and soon it’ll all be over. I heard the police coming.”

I sat down on the kitchen counter and buried my head in my hands before I stroke myself over the hair.

“It’s gonna be okay babe. It’s over soon.”

“I know.”

Harry leaned his forehead against mine and kissed me just as we heard a knock on the door.

Soon I found myself sitting in the sofa with Caitlin on my lap and talking to the police about everything.

Everything turned out really great and Sam was taken back to the jail where he would be spending some time, thinking about everything he had done.

When Harry and I went to bed that night, we didn’t have the bed to ourselves as we used to. Caitlin was wrapped up in my arms for the entire night and according to Harry I didn’t let go of her at all. I had been protective of her even in my sleep.
